The latest platform will only follow the movement of the major coin, especially bitcoin. it can create its own bulltrend through give a big update to the speculators about the development progress that already achieved by the team before.

It seems to me that everything will depend on the information policy for all users of cryptocurrency. If there is less negative information and if a positive Aura is created around the cryptocurrency for investors, then we can expect a real surge in the investment in the cryptocurrency market.

I think that much will depend on the regulators. If they do not fight with cryptocurrencies, then the number of investors will increase. I think that this is an important factor.

If it would so, we could only imagine what would happen and how it would increase  in case of a bull

I still think that now is not the right time to invest in ICO, because most likely you will just lose money, or rather you will lose money. It's very risky.

This is a surprising number if you ask me! Seems like Americans are quite in favor of unconventional investments. It is not a majority of people, but hey, the crypto is not going through its best time in terms of capitalization and any kind of attention should be appreciated. It is great actually, as people are entering the market not because of gold rush/ hype, but rather a significant development made in last months towards the global adoption. We are not there yet, but comparative advantages will not be ignored forever  .

It's already a big number and a good achievement so far, 1% of the entire population to invest in crypto would already push a good start of adoption.
Of course the value will also increase since that demand will be created. For now, we cannot expect small countries to adopt easily since we are still in the early stage, hesitation is still their and some are not even aware of crypto yet.

Though the problem is that the country is restricted in most ICO projects.
Due to their law, but soon once this been lift then the ICO will be better.

This number does not include the people who want to invest in existing coins. Once ETFs and other easier methods of investment into cryptos  become available, that number can grow big fast.

I hope that could be true because if that news is true, then we will see the crypto market will rise again and maybe it will big than the last year. I think that people can accept cryptocurrency now and they are curious what inside of the crypto and if they can feel comfortable with the cryptocurrency than I guess they will stay for a long time. But I don't think that is a good idea to invest in the ICO since there are too many of the project was just scam people.

I think less than 50% people actually do invest in financial instruments like stocks/ETF and so

Most people are more towards a conservative type which they think that FD is better
At some point, FD really did better compare to crypto in 2018
If you actually bought btc/eth in 2018 and you hodl, your valuation of your portfolio would at least drop by 50%

Hence, there's reason why people are being skeptical towards the ICO

Math checks out but I really doubt that is the true number.

When you make polls like this you do not ask 300 million people what they think about ICO, no you select a few, at best couple thousand (usually not even that much) and than you make an assumption from that. These guys asked about 1000 Americans what they think about ICO so consider the fact that we have no idea where these people came from or their backgrounds and so forth it is eas to say this 1000 people were more inclined than the next 1000 you could find.

Ask what people think about ICO's on palo alto and you will get a lot of positive reviews, ask it on Louisiana and you will get weird looks from people. That is why I think we should not take these kinds of polls that seriously when it comes to expecting a lot of new investments towards ICO's.

Of course that this information is not valid. Many people here said that Initial coin offerings are not allowed in the USA. So what we are all talking about?
