Too technical for $1.94 amount. Take a look : https://microlancer.io/post/view?id=222
Most task are simple and doable and much better than wasting your time with faucets.

Really depends what your technical abilities are with BTC from what I can see as most of these tasks involve some sort of programming ability, especially with smart contracts, but this is indeed a neat little site. Haven't seen many sites like this at all, much less one using the lightning network. It's true that these tasks pay more than using a faucet, but they also require more technical ability than a faucet. Not too bad, though if you've got any sort of programming skill you could also advertise in the Services section ( click for link) and potentially get better rates than on this site.

I think its neat like one request pays you to gorilla market BTC by writing on 10 regular fiat notes. Ive been looking for a crypto alternative to mTurk ...I think this is as good as it gets or as close to that as it can get. This quenches a thirst ive had for like 2/3 years

Not worth my time though and I think it's actually illegal to write stuff on fiat banknotes. One quick note, it's guerilla marketing, not gorilla marketing Not trying to be pedantic or anything, gorilla marketing just sounded too funny

One of the first offers on this website is Say hello, earn 1 satoshi. It is not really worth clicking on it for that price. Also there is a task with bug finding that rewards 5k sat lol. Amazon Mechanical turk have pretty much geographical restrictions but tbh their low payments are way more attractive than this website.

The market just isn't there, most people want fiat money. They don't want to deal with the volatility and the hassle of having to use an exchange. Very few places actually accept cryptocurrency as it stands and people have to pay for bills and food. This will change once it becomes more widely adopted.

Everything do start on small but who knows if this one would gain traction. Good luck to your future endeavors but you should considerate the amount given equals to the task being asked.

Online work is heavily crowded so unless you are extremely gifted it will be difficult to stand out among the crowd. Everyone wants a job that is super flexible that can be done from home but most people don't have the chance to.

Everyone wants a job that is super flexible that can be done from home but most people don't have the chance to. Competition would really be high and for those skilled ones would really have the edge among others. Not all people do have that kind of technical skills or knowledge thats why they do neglect or dont care at all when looking up on whats being offered or asked.

Everyone wants a job that is super flexible that can be done from home but most people don't have the chance to. This website doesn't offer real jobs though, I mean just look at the offers that are currently available. You can't expect to support yourself when you're doing small jobs that pay around 100 or 1000 satoshis. It could be better, if there were jobs on there that paid a little bit better, but still...

The earning is too small but a good site to earn for newbies because I also a lot of offers that deals with following social media and subscriptions, reminds of microtask website where I used to be so active some seven years ago, good for those who want to increase their followers.

As more people come along and create content the values should adjust accordingly the problem now is we need more feedback to make it worth while to all involved parties. This is the kind of tool I was expecting for making the Bitcoin/LN ecosystem reach mainstream. I really want it to have success and I think it may end up being successful.
I've used microlancer.io for a lot of small funny tasks people did just to experiment with the technology, I think. However, for the more complex tasks that would require some amount of expertise and dedication (not much, maybe 1 hour) I couldn't find a volunteer.
Of course I was most certainly paying too little, but at the same time the fact that there aren't too many users makes it hard to find people for niche tasks. On the other hand, maybe the site will grow up from very generalist tasks to more specific ones with time.
One thing that could be improved is the pricing mechanism. As I said: I don't know if I'm paying too little or too much, and I don't have a way to know that better -- probably all other freelancing sites suffer from that same problem. I can only think of a negotiation tool where people could say prices and the task price is updated for each different offerer, but that is probably too naïve.
this is on the announcement topic I too am waiting for more task to complete and want task completed! Come check it out a little more in depth and submit some feedback on the announcement topic found here

I don't agree with anything you've said. It's almost the same as slave labor, you can't ever think to support yourself doing work like that. Companies are just leeching of off low-skilled labor and I know that some people really do try to make a living out of it. Sure, they will pay you for the work you've done, but the rates they're offering are just not worth it.

Thats the thing with online work, you are competing with people that only make a few dollars per day in their country. $2/ hour is nothing in the United States but in certain countries that can be a decent amount. Globalization has really brought down wages across the board but especially in jobs that are not location dependant.

Thats the thing with online work, you are competing with people that only make a few dollars per day in their country. $2/ hour is nothing in the United States but in certain countries that can be a decent amount. -snip-This is the exact truth. Here in ASIA, $2/hour is equivalent to the salary of a McDonal's Crew Chief and much much higher than the regular rates ( yes labor is pretty cheap here).
I've checked the site but it's not like any other freelancing sites and noticed that it's more of an advertisement like PPA ( Pay Per Action) site than a freelancer's due to the lack of rules for the " allowed" job offers. I wouldn't call a site that allows " register as my referral" a freelancer site (it has " ~lancer" in the name ). Actually, I tried to look for " Graphic-related" job and only found one inactive ad, the userbase and decent job offers of the site is pretty scarce.

It was a shocker for me finding out how far people are willing to go for a couple of dollars, or even a few pennies when it comes to people farming faucets, solving captchas, watching ads, and so forth. It really seems that a lot of Indians have found their way to Bitcointalk in the last couple of years, and this fierce competition between users leads to very low rewards for basic tasks. Good thing however is that these Indians due to a lack of understanding and skills can't compete with the rest when it comes to high level designing and coding tasks, and this is where businesses are still willing to pay big.
