Maybe you should escrow some funds while you don’t have any reputation? Using your service is a risk.

- There is no address validation to start mixing; that’s a major flaw (a very basic one).
- The maximum amount is 264BTC; I honestly doubt you have that much.
- No Letter of Guarantee? That’s a must.
- Add some customizable/random options. Seriously... anyone can do a simple chain analysis (output is equal to input - 0.1%) and find where the mixing coins went to in just a few minutes. No protection at all.

So far, it doesn’t look good.

Hello,
First, thank you for taking the time to answer to my thread.
I take note of your criticisms and I will solve all its problems very quickly.
I am happy to be able to help the community and to hear your positive/negative opinions that will help to advance the site.

To answer you:
We will add the validation address to avoid the user getting the wrong address.
We do not have 264BTC but 64BTC, there was a typing error that will be modified.
We will add customizable/random options.
And what do you mean by letter of guarantee?
Feel free to suggest other things.

Bests regards.

And what do you mean by letter of guarantee?
It's a signed message from a public known staked address of your own, that gives the user proof that the address X was generated by your website and that the mixing session is real. This way, he has proof that he sent the coins to your address if you/any mixer tries to scam him.

A few mixers do that (e.g CryptoMixer, BestMixer, BitMix, etc...)

Here is an example I just generated from BestMIxer:

Quote
-----START SIGNING BITCOIN ADDRESS-----
1BestMixVhna91MkP7pKRtjej3bFq6Ze46
-----END SIGNING BITCOIN ADDRESS-----

-----START LETTER OF GUARANTEE-----
We hereby confirm that BESTMIXER.IO has generated a BITCOIN (BTC) address: 17rCyydfavKR6pHVLDNXA1LAzf8t9at5Jb to transfer the incoming amount (after deduction of the service fee) to the following address(es): 100% to 1NinjabXd5znM5zgTcmxDVzH4w3nbaY16L after 2hr. 15min. The service is valid for a transfer of 0.001 BTC as a minimum amount per single transaction and maximum amount of 997.073 BTC (received in the period from 2019 Mar 16, 00:01:40 UTC to 2019 Mar 17, 00:01:40 UTC). Our fee is 2.9218% + 0.00007345 BTC per each receiving address. Order: https://bestmixer.io/en/t/2O1OnRwdce, BestMixer code: 1M1a3U6R67. Reserves for mixing: Beta Pool. This Letter of Guarantee is digitally signed by our main account: 1BestMixVhna91MkP7pKRtjej3bFq6Ze46.
-----END LETTER OF GUARANTEE-----

-----START DIGITAL SIGNATURE-----
G2v3cdhmdlLTNIT0CbSLu9zA2LOuoDMiVLkUsaKSaPFlB5nf2nW8o6oWHrG6HWnPXwjj9B1MDne+ufKMm5eiOww=
-----END DIGITAL SIGNATURE-----

The address "1BestMixVhna91MkP7pKRtjej3bFq6Ze46" which message was signed with is owned by them and it's publicly known.

More stuff: the website doesn't work if Javascript is disabled (probably due to the preload and other functionalities). Many consider requiring JS a dangerous possible vulnerability (JS is even disabled by default on Tor). I think every mixer should work without JS or at least have a no-js version.

edit: the Letter of Guarantee isn't working as intended... I just tried a new session which tells me to send my coins to 3426r33JZ23jxBMAJuRLkQJjkEZ1LzAGzi while the Letter says "We hereby confirm that DOMIXER.COM has generated a BITCOIN (BTC) address: 17rCyydfavKR6pHVLDNXA1LAzf8t9at5Jb" (different address).

It also says "to the following address(es):" and then there is no address. I guess it should show the address I want the coins mixed to...?

Can you prove ownership of coins? I've seen too many mixers turn into a scam.

If you pm my main account (see signature) a signed message, I'll confirm you own 64 Bitcoin here in your thread without exposing your address.

Hello,

This problem will be fixed very soon and a no-js version will be created.
Thank you very much.

Hello,

Thank you for your proposal but I don't force anyone to believe that I have 64 BTC,
Go ask the Mixer who say they have +500 BTC Wink

The difference is that you are a no one. I could buy a cheap host + a domain for a couple of dollars, make a cheap "mixer" script that doesn't even have the basic functionalities, and ask people for money. Then, either scam immediately, or wait until someone mixes a big amount to run away.

That's why mixers usually escrow some money or prove their funds until they get a reputation. Smiley

Hello,

Don't worry, I'll prove I'm a legitimate service.
