Wow. Steemit/STEEM or whatever it is now seems to have changed SO much since I last went on the platform. I thought it was broken even in 2017 but it seems 2020 Steemit is even more broken than ever. The move to TRON or the acquisition rather seems not to have worked out the way it was supposed to. And all this weird staking voting whatever system. Whatever happened to just regular blogging?

Steem is one of the coins that did very well in 2017 and early 2018. However since it lost it momentum in March 2018 it has been in the state of comma and holding it is like holding those dead coins to me. I sold my holding at loses and I only invest in bitcoin and those defi coins for now.

Since Justin was forking the steem coin into the hive coin and that's the end for the steem. I didn't even believe to see some people were still holding their steem.

defi has just grow as if it is overhyped but lets see in the middle of fourth quater or in December if they still pumps or the normal currencies will take place like Steem,in which one good currency AFAIR back in 2017.

STEEM's performance was quite bad this year, because the price was less volatile, so it was difficult to make profit from STEEM.

After the acquisition by tron and steem just like an abandoned project that so many investors and supporters of steem have been moving to the hive as a new platform that has already forked from the steem.

I have nothing against the STEEM coin but I feel that the coin will have cycles and its value will go high during the bull market.

It is probably because its been owned now by Justin Sun of TRON. They were the ones who did the most controversy for this Steem that users moved to Hive. The binance participation of it as well when Justin Sun seized control over that project. You should look up to it if you haven't heard of that before.  With so much centralziation, investors would rather be putting thier money to where its safe.

STEEM don't fix their foundation perhaps some time or another are supplanted by their rival like Minds, CBNT and other. I trust this new form will make another STEEM that will give great re-visitation of the apparent multitude of holders particularly those that has been holding STEEM for long haul. But yeah upon my look in their progress?after the Altcoin season of 2018 when the price reached ATH of $8 now the ROI drops to -75 things that very frustrating to the investors.

But advising to invest in Defi ?lol that is another suicide and only going to nothing.
