Few days ago I also thought about April 1st and theymos plans for it. Last year merit was hot topic and theymos made joke about new rank requirements. Now DT system is main thing in Meta in recent months, so I think that joke can be related to it. Maybe anti-DT gang will become DT members for one day?
I don't know, does theymos have prepared something for this day already. If no, I think we are making his task more difficult, because probably he will not want to use ideas posted in this thread.

Maybe this year I won't do anything, and that'll be the real april fools.

For the first one who can firstly hit 10k merits, I voted for @theymos, he will hit that point easily within only one day when he makes decision and  announcement to lift up hammers on all auto banned accounts.
So, who had auto-banned accounts, please log in your banned accounts, leave the message here and vote for my scenario, for @theymos, please.
 

Giving a chance for all auto-banned accounts to come back, within 24 hours, will be a big April Fool Joke for this year.
It will give unrealistic hope for all auto-banned accounts.
I don't think @theymos has intention to damage his and our eyesights, so he won't make it.

It would be cruel lol . I'm trying to imagine all that chaos here and reaction of users. But if this thing would be implemented even just for one day, probably we would have lot of Merit abuse cases. And offcourse, hundreds of users who desperately need Merit coming to Meta and begging to get it
