Don't be surprised if that happens. I've also experienced the same thing as you said. Many projects are truly dead. Maybe because the project can't compete with other projects. This KYC is actually very much troubled by the bounty hunter. Because they say that bounty hunters are not supposed to do KYC.

It depends on the project you decide to do KYC for I think the best thing is to search the project first and make hard choice on what you need as a bounty hunter and then go for that

well, many of us don't like KYC so much. however, we know that it is a choice. when you really feel that it's not necessary, then don't follow the rules. because I feel, some people still do KYC, because it feels it is...

There is no relation between the gifts or the bounty you receive from the KYC requirement.
Receiving a small amount of bounty as long as it's stipulated in the contract from the start, team does not violate anything.
The risky part here is the KYC compliance because you never know if they are really reputable.

we can see whether the platform that asks for our KYC can be trusted or not. if in doubt do not ever, especially for the airdrop that has no clear results, it can be very detrimental to us. even if you have to do KYC, choose a platform, bounty, or investment that is truly convincing.

Yep, that's my mindset. If I'm in doubt of something, I wouldn't pursue that thing especially if there's a big thing that's on stake and I can see that it can be something that I'll regret in the future.

There is one thing I have realized from my experience with KYC for bounties. Almost all the projects I have provided my personal information to them failed to even get listed on exchanges and the project dies off. Surprisingly, those that didn't require KYC paid me and the project is truly developing. My point is, am beginning to think those project requesting hunters to go through KYC are just in for their information to trade and do not have any intentions to develop their crypto project so let's be vigilant about whom we carelessly give our details to, for some peanuts...May God bless our hustle

Many ICO in this year didn't go well because they are not able to raised enough funds in their sale.
So their bounty campaign failed too, and they won't pay the rewards for the bounty participants.
Even if they barely hit the softcap, im afraid they won't pay the reward and using KYC to prolong the payment.

Giving our personal details to a company which is just getting started can become a privacy threat. During KYC, some companies ask for many personal details. It's just not safe that also when we don't know much about that particular project and most probably that end up in vain. I don't support KYC and usually don't participate in ones which ask for KYC.

I have heard about instances in which the bounty manager asked the users to undergo KYC after the campaign ended. While the campaign was ongoing, there was no indication that KYC would be required. But after the coins were listed, the manager informed the participants that if they want the bounty, then they have to undergo the KYC process. In the end, 99% of the participants didn't got their reward.

It seems to me that there is no need to provide your personal data by participating in any projects. There is no guarantee that this will not be misused. Of course, there are exceptions, in the form of KYC for various exchanges, and that is purely for your convenience.

It's true that identity is important if you do KYC wrong and that person is dishonest it will be misused, do KYC if you receive a lot of money from your hard work.

KYC's go against pretty much anything I stand for in regards to lower volume average users. I think if someone is moving substantial sums of money that perhaps a KYC could be acceptable, but a KYC for a bounty program is ridiculous. That means that you actually need to trust the project with your personal information and goes against decentralization efforts. A hacker could easily steal your private information and then use your ID to cause mayhem.

I think maybe you dont like KYC and its process thats why you are seeing things that way but still thats ok for all the way you feel Bounties hate KYC because it put in so much pressure by adding to your work and then you have no token valuation guaranteed once it hit market Best thing pick good project whether KYC or not and hope for the best when you do the KYC

Don't be done at the moment, it too early to give up just like that. All you have to is to devise a new way with the selection of bounties you participate in. Trust me good days will come and I think most amazing projects request for KYC so be prepared for it.
