I want to know more about this coin, when is mined with mobile phone is mined virtual like Electroneum was mined, or is mined with phone CPU and phone is turning hot when miner running?
When mining with PoW coins such as btc or etn, one needs a powerful computer so that computation of the puzzle would be necessarily easy. In Taucoin, you dont need a powerful rig that needs advancement and upgrade in time. You only need to have transactions, hence the consensus mechanism is Proof of Transaction. The more transaction you have on chain, the greater chance to mine the next block and "harvest" the tx fees on it. On latest update, 1tx is just 194 bytes ( correct me here if im wrong) so the whole 24hrs of the proposed mobile mining would only cost the miner around 4 - 5mb of power, mainly because, tau is using your transactional mining power to harvest the next block. Good my friend The wallet app you downloaded is for TAUT coin which can only be mined via PC and I gave instructions just above this our posts. TAUcoin mining app is not out and can't be found in any online store, its all under development and it will come out before or during mainnet time. No one recently have successful mined TAU except only Devteam are doing internal testing.So, to start mining TAU should wait till 25 this month  If you follow news and updates on their social platforms, you will get all sorts of things very clear TAUT AND TAU are two coins each having its own Blockchain but all run under same consensus mechanism (POT) |

OK. Thanks for your answer, i download the app on my mobile phone but i can't find the option to mine or i don't know how to activate, i also don't see the mining option on website. What you have now is taut wallet. TauT is the "test net coin" of tau reborned into its own coin. So on May 25th, Tau main net, those holding Taut will get Tau by the same amount. On the new app, we'll have mobile mining. |

Guys, who is not ready to start Real mobile mining? With real tx verification and authentication using Android (mobile) devices. This guys seems to be serious, don't take them easy, they will just start this rally on what they so call "Mainnet on mobile mining" on 25th this month, its almost there.
On digging more about them, I came with their amazing tech here, check:
> Have high speed (due to on-chain sharding to increase tps) and low energy (as they are not using POW protocol)
> First real mobile mining coin (tx verification and authentication on mobile devices-Android)
> Built on IPFS to restrict IP control
> Proof-of-transaction currency (neither pow nor pos)
> Resist currency inflation and control
Something amaze me here, is the use of IPFS tech, which is really designed for Blockchain, I also came to out that, no crypto project ever used build their Blockchain on IPFS but these guys promised to make it happen as the first and only using IPFS tech.
I want to figure out more about them.
Can't wait to see the results tomorrow

The topic of mobile mining has been quite relevant for a long time already and even many projects wanted to implement such an idea, but soon everything stopped and for the fact that not all mobile devices can be mined and there is a need to solve the problem of mining complexity, I hope this project will succeed.

In the crypto world, not many people having experiences of true mining which is verifying transaction on global blockchain. I think we did it in taucoin.
We decided to start with slow main-net speed to make sure it is stable. Then we will implement ipfs sharding on it.

It is a good offer and aside from other it is good mining. But for me it is not practical and high cost opeation but you can only earn only for very small amount of money. Make sense if you do mining as a main source of income I think you will not be successful. Don't be seduct in a very light job just perform other crypto activity such as trading and bounty.

In TAU mobile mining, there are two types of block reward: 1. mining reward which gives to block winner. 2. trx participation reward which gives to the address cause the trx sender balance. this will changes to sharding reward in the future.
Therefore, the tau mobile reward is not concentrating to block winners, but everyone perform work making trx and sharding and mining.

Could someone explain to me how mobile mining could work? I understand it technically, but if everyone could mine on his mobile phone, who will then buy it? Similiar problem has Electroneum, after a short hype it is now a dead coin.

It doesn't seem to work. You need to get the airdrop so you can have a transaction then you must spend it on mining power and then begin mining. The problem is none of these options are there like they show on the google store screenshots. Nothing is explained either. I think this is just a waste of time. I was excited about it but not anymore. |
