I have a lot of patience just like other investors but due to urgency of needing the funds sold most of my holdings at cheaper prices. Sometimes we can't control the situations and forced to do tougher decisions in order to survive.

We have seen lots of members here complaining that they didn't wait enough before booking their profits because they don't have patience.

But it's really hard to have this mentality, I'll give one example, last week I try to buy something online, just so hype so I order, but after a week, that item went into sale for 20%, damn I was so mad at myself for not waiting enough. So another valuable lessons here, don't buy the hype and have patience, just like in crypto.  

To be honest, I have been a silent speculator in the bear market. The down price you know is instrumental in helping you make some handsome profits when the market rises. Panic selling is something that makes you loose value and there is no point in regretting over split milk. Hype might excite you as it excites me but you got to be a realist and this is healthy for business. Patience is good but only when you have invested for long term not for the short term.

Missing out some opportunities may be a negative consequences of being speculator but it helps me a lot in avoiding catching few falling knife, for example, ripple. At the same time, being just a speculator helps me to continue my bitcoin holding whereas few of my colleague exit at $3500 by the panic of going down up to $1800.

The market turns more red than blue so be careful when investing because everything is very risky and can make you lose money quickly. I am a trader for 3 years and many times I sell panic so it is very difficult to predict people's psychology when the downtrend occurs. Patience is something everyone should have in the bear market but if your coin has stopped working or has bad news, consider selling because it will drop at a price you will never think of.

I think it should be understood that the market does not remain the same all the time. There might be rise in the economic activity at one and fall another time but you have to wait for the best exit point. If you invest your money in Bitcoin and plan to cash it tomorrow, you would end up making few cents or some dollars plus your time wasted. So hodl once you are part of the flow.

It`s the most important part, selecting a coin that have a future. Patience doesn`t worth much with wrong coin, investing in wrong coin and waiting can push your push your bankroll down a lot. What`s important for trading is a set of skills to be successful in long run, patience, good analytic capabilities, you need to have a good timing for trading, to know when to be in front of computer ready to act, and times when you will just chill.
I think with practice and love for something anyone can make some progress.

Having to have a smart strategy before trading will help traders control their loss in the best way and if they can control it, making a profit will be easy. I used to be a trader and know this rule very well but sometimes I make a lot of mistakes in my plan so when you plan, you should follow that plan safely. if we have a plan but we cannot control patience in my opinion it is the same. the plan is the human mind that has been designed for something surprising and while the patience of trading is human nature that aims to wait for the price they want.
