Good day everyone!

I have now planned and finalizing the Christmas event that we are going to do. In line with the recent typhoon, we will target those affected and would have a hard time recovering. Amidst all the disasters that had happened (Pandemic, typhoons, etc.), there is still a better future to look forward to, and in the meantime, Christmas is approaching, that's why I want to let everyone feel that Christmas feeling.

So what we are going to do is to provide some Christmas goodies for families.

What has become of this?

I was not able to leave the Metro, so in case you need another pair of hand in labor, you can count me in.

I'm really happy with the outcome of my activity. It took quite a preparation and logistical analytics to make this possible and it was a success. I'm so thankful for the donators that made this happen. Because of the donators, we were able to help a lot of families that were struck with unfortunate events. Thank you.


The activity was a success. The activity that I had organized is in San Mateo Rizal. See the situation that they have below.




The typhoon Ulysses hit the Luzon area last November 11 - 12, 2020. We were surprised by the situation that they have on-going and it's been more than a month and it's sad that they still have this situation. It made us feel more elated to help them and share with them this holiday gift.

This is what we have prepared for them and how it was loaded in a mini truck to be transported.



The Holiday Gift Bag consists of these items

• Alcohol
• Clothes (Shirt and Shorts)
• Soap
• Toothpaste
• Toothbrush
• Tuna
• Meat Loaf
• Noodles
• Pasta and Sauce Combo
• Cheese
• Fruit Cocktail
• 2L Water
• Durable Eco Bag

The mini-truck can't fit all the 200 total gift bags without having it be on top-of-the other. So we just made it almost 4 layers in gift bags.




Distribution

We have a contact there that would distribute a claim stub so that everyone who was able to register and get a stub would really get their holiday gift bag. We had helped with this to make sure it's in an orderly fashion and make sure that we all wore facemasks too (not 100%)



We had a line so that it would be in order and make sure no one is going to get double of a gift so everyone has their fair share. But some people had double stubs because they are getting the gift package for the Senior Citizens who aren't able to be physically present to claim the gift.





I'm thankful for everyone who has given their time and effort towards making this activity a success.

I was already composing my post when I didn't notice that you actually posted before it. I'm happy that you are willing to help. Maybe in the next activity, we could come up with something.

I was actually watching this thread if ever there will be plans for Bulacan,

I almost made it but since I failed reaching P2500  (x<500 est/ChristmasPack) from these Christmas promotions in crypto, I am inquiring here if in case there is still undistributed packs you have, there are these 5 people I wanted to have a merrier Christmas, 3 are homeless("palaboy'), the other 2 lives in the squammy area("pabahay nangangalakal") where I visit quite a lot.

Actually to say that they are homeless and the other lives in the slums would be an understatement.

I have already finished budgeting and finalizing my activity and location. I also received some quotations for the items I would be buying and finalizing on how the pick up can be done. I will update my progress here as well.

Sorry for pointing this out ,But your Trust history would  Made this charity have a second thought dealing with you,Yeah you already settled the amount but yet the paint will always remain on how you ae dealing with the issues specially when talking about reputation.

and also i also watching this thread ,and you know whats the Eye catching for all the post created here? the one you questioned about the Rice bought to help the victims ,you have already saw the items already purchased but yet what? you still questioned while you can just Make a post that "NEXT TIME IF NEEDED A RICE" they may directly contact the rice farmers or Holders for cheaper price.

It was side note, and my concern isn't really focused on that thing.
If my post looked aggressive, then it was not my intention. And I think I would not be acting rude towards somebody I was asking for help, would you?

Ouch. But yes, it is something I have to live with as consequence of being delinquent and a way to remember that there was once a grumpy kitty that strived to make this forum better.

I think for logistic processes it is not ideal to ship out heavy bags. I think it’s better to just provide money and you make the gift packs for them.

I’m pretty sure there would be a warning but because I always check or click the preview buttonBefore posting, I think I have missed out on the warning itself because after clicking it again I’m sure it wouldn’t show it anymore. Thank you for giving the links, it seems that planning these operations is a difficult one. I hope that whoever is behind this charity program should create a charity organization. And if they already did, I hope that you do well and expand your program so more people can receive the help from the community.

Since I am from Croatia myself, I would like to express my gratitude to both of you and to all those involved for this donation.
Unfortunately, as a result of the devastating earthquake, many people were left without their homes, and I hope that this donation will find its way to the needy.

-Just a Quick Update to all, Funds will be pulled out by escrow and will be converted to stable coin, as BTC keeps falling so we do want to take the chance not to gain loss and keep gaining for the sake of this charity and the people that needs it.
-Funds will go back to BTC as soon as it drops by 20k -25k

For January, I have planned to give out gift bags to around ~150 street children/homeless people while driving around in the capital. Just giving to everyone and to have less contact with people for a long duration.

So these are the contents per bag.
