What should you do in bearish market?

I am an investor who has contingency plans, so I have a tenth of my investment with usdt so when the market falls I start buying my favorite Altcoin. Increase profits to the maximum. Just forget about price charts for a second, get a life, try to make some work and accept crypto for it, anything accept compulsive focusing your attention on market fluctuations. Set a goal for yourself and work towards it, worst thing that can happen is you equalizing your missed investments with earnings. IMO another, equally valid key is the piece of mind.

Until you dont sell your coins you cannot tell that you are totally in loss, so if you have got some more investment then start buying in dip slowly and average your buying price so that when the market start to move up , then you should be able to be in profit in short movement. This way you can trade in bearish market and be alert in market.

I don't think we should stop trading and reading more. Of course, reading more is always good but trying to make money in the bear market is better. Practice is still better than theory and sometimes you will find success when the market is degraded.

Agreed. It is very important to keep in mind that all those market fluctuations may not concern you as long as you are not selling your coins. People tend to be frustrated by things which are, in fact, happening only in their imagination. I mean, if someone thought "I've lost so much!" looking at charts in December 2018 when Bitcoin was $3,200, the loss was actually in their head, not in reality, if they didn't sell at the time.

Idk, I wouldn't recommend trading to those who are inexperienced in the field. They can only lose more that way. It only looks like it's an easy task, buy-low-sell-high, but it's not and it has never been. There are many of those who lost a lot to their experiments with trading.

Market needs to be considered with reference to the events happening around, and if some form of good news is found around relative to bitcoin with some dump in price it is good to invest as the profit can be made in a short. If the market is completely getting dumped with full of FUD it is good to invest but it requires more patience to get back profit from investment.

Those are incompatible things imo. Any good news (if it's a really good one) immediately followed by price rising, and a regular trader is always late to the feast. And there are cases when you think, "Wow! I'm not late this time! The price has barely raised!" So you buy as much as you can, and then you see that the price is starting going down, because the news was either fake or just not good enough.

If the market is completely getting dumped with full of FUD it is good to invest but it requires more patience to get back profit from investment.

True, it requires patience. It takes more than a year in some cases, but the chances of being in profit are much higher than they are with short term trading.

downtrend is not unfavorable time for investor because investor will rather use that time to buy more cryptos   . its not difficult for them to buy though its only difficult for them to sell .

this is true but only applicable to other unknown coins  . if you will be only investing in bitcoin  ,  i think its a good idea to catch every bottom because bitcoin is known to increase and recover especially in the future where adoption can possibly grow  .

thats a nice suggestion  . but what will help you out the most in a bearish market situation is " seeking for information " you need to check the lateest updates on cryptos whether its from a news ( crypto news ) or from this forum bitcointalk

almost everyone feels uncomfortable when bearish market conditions continue, they feel hesitant to make a decision. if they are able to make a sale, of course they will feel loss for taking improper actions, but they are also doubtful about the market conditions that occur to maintain it, not all types of coins may not be able to provide benefits in the future because not all coins have good potential if we can hold them for an old time
