If there are no investors investing in ICO they are going to shift, to IEO, this exchange sponsored crowdfunding are born because ICO has a bad reputation now, the evidence is very clear on so many failed ICO, so expect IEO to be the next big thing.

Yes, less possibility of a scam but it doesn't mean that the project will be successful as well. But I do agree that scamming project days are over, with the introduction of IEO, soon they will realize that no one is putting investment on them because all investors have run to IEO now.

Same thing I have been saying everyday and I will always keep saying, this crypto market is a free market and no matter how you try to curtail scammers in the space, it would be very difficult to do it since the market is not controlled by any government body or individual. The scammers will come in by creating exchanges with lots of fake promises then start IEO on this exchanges thereby making away with investors money.

I am sure that scammers will find a way to search the opportunity from IEO because IEO will become a new trend and will replace the ICO. But I think if the investor is very smart to analyze or to learn about the project, they won't get scam easily because they will know that if the project is good or not by doing research. I believe that the scammers are developing strategy in order to scam people day in- day -out. IEO  can't eliminate  from the world  of cryptocurrency . people should just be careful with any investment you want to involve yourself.

Thats why use trusted exchanges , never use big amount of money on new exchange . Try to deposit few dollars , trade some and try to withdraw . And before using some new exchange , google for reviews and see what pops out . Then there should be no problem . But anyway there will be people that will get caught on that . And ofcourse there is projects building up like Crypto Police and many more to detect suspicious ICO's , Exchanges and so on . Hopefully in future we will not need to worry about scammers .

The best method to avoid scammers is to choose reliable exchanges. If you choose the sub-market exchanges, you will lose money in IEOs. I guess, I do not need to tell you what exchanges to choose.

Well, used only the official and genuine exchange
We have tons of the exchange but only few one are realiable and genuine. (But even good exchanges like Binance had weird coins in their listing which causes people to have doubt in their exchange)

The method of crowdfunding doesn't really do much if every investors perform their own research instead of just investing on something just because it has a better fame or etc

I hope it will not happen, these exchanges that held IEO should look for projects that might scam people, they should pick a project that will stay and profitable for the long term if they failed to do that it will hard the reputation of the platform where IEO are held.

It is very difficult for scammers to get the approval of large exchanges because good exchanges are always very carefully checking those projects. I think the fraud will soon end in this market and people can be more secure in investing because the IEO projects bring a very high profit and surely 2019 will be a very good year for invest .
