Surely it did. Scammers are lurking around in the market or in the platform. Not only ICO or IEO they go after, all the things which is related or non related crypto scammers are everywhere. We must be aware to avoid this and always be careful when its come to money. Goodluck

It can be avoided if you only join IEO's on trusted exchange like Binance, Bittrex and other exchanges that has true credibility and reputation, Just dont participate on fly by night exchange that offered IEO's since its not secure or we dont know how they evaluate the team of said platform who offered their tokens,via exchange or IEO.

Fraudsters will definitely use all the ways that can make money for them. Scammers are very large viruses and must be removed. And I think everything depends on us and we have to be more careful in investing. Do research from various aspects and always pray.

IEO is conducted only on a platform of an exchange once it passes some vetted tests and thorough analysis by the exchange because hosting a dubious IEO will be worst for exchange because they will loose their prestige. the factor of big names and the trust of the exchange is enormous. it makes investors feel safe. they must consider exchanges first, because most of those who have been on their IEO are successful in sales. remain vigilant and examine the project and its development, because sales are definitely different from the market ability after they have run on the trading market.

that many exchanges have launched IEO, like the Kucoin has been successful to open the IEO with MultiVac. before the end was alot in telegram as a scammer to behalf that said: “we are MultiVac ongoing open IEO/ICO” and so this’s a scammer.

I guess this year is where the exchange is being spread about an IEO's. I’m recommend, we should be careful first there’s an exchange of new and launched IEO. although the IEO is much better than fundraising like ICO that it’s definitely fraud will also spread because as they have opportunities to it.

To avoid scammed from IEO better choose and invest in big exchanger like binance, huobi, bittrex or kucoin. Many big exchanger and have good reputation launch their IEO and why we should choose small exchanger? I think when we decide to invest, we will choose a reputable one

Not every projects can land in binance on even on houbi, This makes the current IEO market centralized to famous and top exchanges. But this is a good thing to eliminate the scams from the legit start up projects.

But for the other legit startup projects that don't have the financial means to get on a reputable IEO platform they tend to choose the smaller exchange but they are hardly getting any funding at all.
