Current market move can not be considered as a bull run and don't think we would be having a huge bull market in 3 months. Current move is so healthy. I believe so, since day one in 2019 Bitcoin already up around 70%. It may not as fast bull run like we saw in 2017 but at least we seeing green candle almost every month this year. I just hope that this slow and steady bull market will continue until 2020 where we see Bitcoin surpass its all time high.

I like your optimism but what we are trying to avoid here is the dramatic or parabolic rise might hurt us in the long run. I'm sure it is still fresh to our mind what happened to 2017 and the massive drop after that rise.

For me it's better to see the price going on a steady rate at least $10k at the end of the year and then new ATH in 2021 specially that bitcoin halving is coming.

No idea. What is weird is that the funding rate on Bitmex is negative and we are in a bull market. What this means is that many people are shorting still whenever it hits a new high.

Its different than a few days ago, because a few days ago it would have a high negative funding, we would hit a new high and the funding would almost be zero, and then the funding rate was high again when we consolidated. Right now we are going higher and higher and the funding rate stays the same. Should be the complete opposite. Back in 2017, the funding rate was positive and if you were short you were given a large interest rate, now its the other way around.

Maybe give it a few more days and it might shift over, or this is one big bull trap.

Let's see how far it goes, I'm looking at around $7k-$7400 squeeze before we can finally see some retracement. But we can't really predict though, but at some point investors will take some small profit so obviously there could be some healthy pull back around the way.

But it's a good thing though, we don't want to witnessed another parabolic rise and then followed by a massive drop.
