No it wasn't 50% the increase was just about 20%, and that is cool already, we haven't seen that kind of increase in the past.
We will see more increases, we can expect that, BTC started its recovery so we should be more bullish now.

You are quite right about this, this increase has been a wake up call for investors that are still in their slumber, they have woken up to the reality that BTC is not down any further. So, majority of them are gradually putting in their money step by step and as they do these, we will be experiencing a gradual increase in the price of Bitcoin till we get to the value you mentioned which may even be above that, depending on the number of investors we get then.

Hence, I expect this increase to fully materialize around September, so there is still chance of getting to $10000 by December if we can reach $8000 by September.
