Bytecoin network has finally decided on a switch height:

1629055
Considering that block time is around 120 seconds we can calculate an approximate time of it:

Monday, October 1, 2018, 7:11 PM GMT
After that point in time:
the Bytecoin network will be ready to accept transactions with 0 fee;
Bytecoin software versions prior to 3.3.0 would no longer be guaranteed to work correctly.
this I found when i was on link so my question is will there wont be any transaction fee after 1st october!

Today, Bytecoin has been traded around 34 satoshi on exchanges.
Over my own experience in the crypto world, each time Bytecoin witnessed significantly exponential rises, the coin got serious troubles with transactions.
Not sure why those issues happened, but I hope next times when Bytecoin increase exponentially again, such serious problems will not occur again.

Guys, where can I go to download the Blockchain, directly?  My wallet synchronization shows 1 peer and has been as such for the last 3 days, and I have over 3 years remaining.

I suppose you use the old version of the Bytecoin Wallet GUI? Right? Here is a hardfork. Old versions will stop working.

Unfortunately, there is no way to take blockchain here. Sync goes from scratch.

You need to install a new version of v3.3.0. Everything will be fine.

Man means we people who has invested amount in BCN and waiting for price will up.
Machine indicates BCN. because machine made BCN. Its combination of algorithms , source code and system.

nowhere.

My wallet synchronization shows 1 peer and has been as such for the last 3 days, and I have over 3 years remaining.
the last time i downloaded the blockchain was two months ago.
19 hours with a 2 megabit connection (200 kilobytes per second).
the blockchain right now is 27 gigabytes.

I think developers should take care that we can download the full archive to run a full node. It's very inconvenient for months to download the entire Blockchain. I do not consider using the web version of the wallet as safe, especially since they do not provide a private key.

Hello and thank you for your reply.  I'm actually using the latest version of the wallet, recently downloaded from the website.  Also, I'm on a 1Gigabit connection with my laptop getting around 84Mbps on WiFi, so my connection speed isn't the issue.  My issue is that I am only connected to 1 or 2 peers.  Last night, I observed that I'm connected to 10 peers, and it stayed that way through the night, so I made some headway.  I really just want to know how I can force my client to connect to more peers, as that would surely speed things along.

I see. My advice is to leave everything as it is. Clean the disk with CCleaner, make defragmentation, restart the machine, start sync and be patient.

It all depends on the time of day. You need to know that right now everyone is switching to a new version (if not so far). So here can be a bit of congestion. But do not worry. Run the sync and wait. Everything will be fine. Day or two does not make a difference.

In regards to questions about Bytecoin Blockchain download. This question has already been asked. We got an official answer (and that's OK).

QUESTION (RedAnt): Why does not offer a download link for blockchain data.mdb file? It should be an essential component in the download section. You do not need to do a backup every day. Do this at least once a month.

ANSWER (BCN_official): First of all, this method defies the whole point of decentralization ...

The 3-2-1 Backup Rule
Are you sure you can recover after suffering data loss? Every hard drive fails one day.

Backups ensure that your critical data will survive any of the likely hazards. Too many individuals and companies have suffered from having their hardware lost or stolen, destroyed by fires or natural disasters, infected with malware or corrupted by targeted hacker attacks. Common sense dictates that all hard drives will eventually fail; the question is whether or not you are prepared for the worst-case scenario.

Maybe you accidentally erase your data, maybe you lose your computer, or maybe your hard drive just dies. Don’t learn the hard way. It’s inevitable: one day you will lose all of your data.

What is backup?
In information technology, a backup, or the process of backing up, refers to the copying into an archive file of computer data so it may be used to restore the original after a data loss event.

Backup, Backup, Backup
Having one backup isn’t enough. We must remember that any storage device will fail sooner or later. The more backup copies you have, the less chance you have to lose all of them at once.

Multiple copies stipulated by the 3-2-1 backup rule protect you from losing your primary data together with its only backup copy, whereas storing copies of data in multiple locations ensures that there is no single point of failure and that your data is safe, should something happen to any of these locations.

The 3-2-1 backup rule is an easy-to-remember acronym for a common approach to keeping your data safe in almost any failure scenario. The rule is: keep at least three (3) copies of your data, and store two (2) backup copies on different storage media, with one (1) of them located offsite.

You’re not backing up properly unless you have offsite backups
"Onsite" literally means backups stored at the same physical location as you. So, if you back up to an external hard drive and store that at home with your home PC, that’s an onsite backup. Onsite backups are faster and easier, and should be your first line of defense against data loss. If you lose files, you can quickly restore them from an external drive. But you shouldn’t rely on onsite backups alone. If your home burns down or all the hardware in it is stolen by thieves, you’d lose all your files.

"Offsite" backups are stored at a different location. So, if you back up to an online server that’s an offsite backup. Offsite backups don’t have to be a server on the Internet, either, and you don’t have to pay a monthly subscription for one. You could back up your files to a hard drive and store it at your office, at a friend’s house, or in a bank vault, for example.

Files you should back up
(1.) The most important thing is to back up your bytecoinwallet.wallet file. On a Windows 7 PC, you’ll find these under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\bytecoin\, where USERNAME is your user account name.

(2.) Back up your data.mdb blockchain file. You’ll find these under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\bytecoin\blockchain\

Do it today
There's no excuse for not backing up your Bytecoin files. Do it now. Save yourself a lot of trouble. Backup today, not tomorrow.

I'm on a 1Gigabit connection with my laptop getting around 84Mbps on WiFi
1 gigabit internet connection.
I would connect my computer directly to the router with a cable.

I think developers should take care that we can download the full archive to run a full node.
It's very inconvenient for months to download the entire Blockchain.
I do not consider using the web version of the wallet as safe, especially since they do not provide a private key.
i could share the blockchain file using a network like torrent or ed2k/kad.
but there are two problems:
1- my upload speed is very slow.
2- nobody gonna trust my blockchain file.
bytecoin devs are the ones should do it and share the link.
every 6 months sharing the file for example.

This is one solution to the problem. The blockchain can be made in the form of an archive with a checksum and on the resource that causes trust of users. Distribution via torrent will be very convenient to download.

Well. You do not need to re-invent the wheel. If you want, contact Cryptochainer admin for blockchain request. Here's where you need to go:
