Binance isn't the end game for binance and has been on hitbtc long before binance so I don't think they will delist. I still want to emphasize my disappointment with the BCN team but I don't think this delisting is a big deal especially since bcn did better before the listing with low volume.

It is.

RIP.

I don't thing delisting from binance is loss of BCN.
In Month of  May when BCN was not listed in Binance at that time BCN was 31 SAT.
its hurdle i know but it cant stop. because Miners wont get rewards so limitation of BCN will give  more value to its own Career.Enjoy with BCN....

Oh, side note. In 22 days, BCN won't receive new tokens anymore. End of mining. I'd like some burning too, but I'm curious to see what's gonna happen then.

Regarding the mining, not sure about 22 days, since mining reward decreases as the maximum emission reaches its top. It is around a little less than a year left.
Important thing to note here is that the mining will continue, and the new blocks will be created. The only thing that changes is that there will be no reward for mining the block and the miners will rely solely on the fee.
I had a look at this:https://countdown.bytecoins.world
So don't know if it's totally wrong somehow.
Anyway, the mining will continue as new blocks are created but no more coins will be given to miners?

Its good there is exchanges where you can move your BCN.It happens that the coin is removed from the stock exchange and it has no place to move around as it turns out it was the only exchange where this coin traded.Binance is big loss. HitBtc  not comparable to Binance(

The rewards are given out according to a certain curve, and I don't think bytecoins.world reflects that, but they have done a good job anyway.
Regarding the mining, yes, it will continue. The miners won't be given "coinbase" rewards anymore, but they will still have profits from the fee that the users pay when sending the TX.

That is another bad news so it will hurt badly to all investors now it will fall into long term investment. As few days it was looking very promising and best choice to invest more in it but these are not good news for this coin they should improve their code and fixes these issues.

OH MY GOD! THEY KILLED KENNY!

Delisting of Bytecoin (BCN)

OKEx
Today at 12:47 Created

Dear valued customers,

Our regular monitoring of Bytecoin found that the project has been exposed to a critical technical issue that has been left unhandled. To protect the interests of our users, OKEx will delist all BCN trading pairs at 19:00 Oct 12, 2018 (HKT). All depositing and trading services of BCN will be terminated after the date.

Users should cancel their BCN orders from our platform. If your order is not canceled in time, the order will be canceled by the system and your asset will be credited to your trading account.

After the delisting, BCN holders are required to withdraw their tokens to other platforms or their own wallets by Nov 1, 2018 (HKT). OKEx will not support the withdrawal of BCN after that date.

We will strictly monitor all listed projects and implement the delisting / hiding mechanism for substandard projects. Protecting the interest of our users is always the essence of our service. We appreciate your understanding, support, and cooperation in this case.

Please be reminded that trading digital assets involves significant risk and make sure you fully understand the mechanism and risk involved. You should always consider your investment ability and risk tolerance before entering the market.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

i've been using bytecoin long before them.
Fuck Binance and Okex.

Binance and OKEx have not provided specific reasons for delisting BCN!
If not specific reasons have been provided, then it is their fraud!

BCN_official what can you tell us about current situation?
First Binance , now Okex, after such a short span. Will you clarify about the critical issue Okex referred to on delisting BCN?

Poloniex reenabled the wallet, but has now increased the confirmations to 2000. That's 2.7 days. Really? So there were no problems with the wallet. It was just them screwing the users.

It seems that they are doing it in order to prevent users to withdraw Bytecoins at a cheaper price and sell at a second exchange at a more expensive price. 10 Confirmation is too much, and what to say for 2000 confirmations!?

Bytecoin Wallet is not a problem. The problem is that many still use old versions that cause problems. That's stubbornness. And then many ask why... From first exchange withdraw to desktop wallet, then to second exchange. Not directly!

I still want to have a faster Bytecoin network, that we have faster synchronization of the blocks in the wallet. However, let's be reasonable. Bytecoin developers work tirelessly. All things are improved and fixed. We need to admit even to developers and ourselves that everything works much faster.

If someone does not agree, let's show us a wallet that works faster and better. Are you aware that for Bitcoin Core, for example, synchronization lasts not for days but for weeks. Try and see for yourself.

Well, then what is the problem here (and as before it was not)? Anonymity. Nothing more and nothing less. Bytecoin is the only fully anonymous altcoin. Are exchanges decentralized? They did not. That's the problem.
