The longevity has nothing to do with whether something is a scam or not. You really just need to let this go, the project has been abandoned.

are you serious!!!
you claim it is a scam just because you don't like the name, the supply and because they created fake accounts.
these are the most unfounded accusations I have ever heard.

It seems that this thread is abandoned or at least very quiet lately in comparison with what was back in the days.
After the coin was listed on Binance and the huge pump occurred, many community members exited their position and  left this coin.

i have got this personal message from a moderator, a comment for a deleted post:

A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.

game over!

The "game over!" is a comment from myself, and this comment is VERY ancient. i cannot say where it belongs to, and don't know the context.

i thought a little about it, and believe, this is mobbing by a moderator. Under this circumstance i cannot help the forum members any more. Good luck!

I still love bytecoin!

i would still hope to see its rise.

but even then, while on the wait,

i buy as many as i could while it's at low

just for a keep, adding for personal collection.

bring out of exchanges.

who knows, it would climb up again...

this is not an advertisement,

just feel like doing it.

@Golden star if you are interested to share your knowledge into your native language than please head towards the local board instead of the main thread. Please use only English than it could be more helpful to understand what are you trying to say.

this deserves a retweet...

this can revive our favorite coin and make it rise to new heights.

I hope the community will take over the project in the future if the dev continues to be silent.

Dear BCN community,

Is BCN still has future?
I have to buy or sell it.
Please recommend to me.
Thank you.

---------------------------------------
-
UPDATE ON 6/4/2021

My friend used the outdated wallet app and that is why no coins appeared.
So when he used the new one, all his coins appeared again.
Information by me below should be deleted.

-----------------------------------------

I would stay away from it.

Why?

I was contacted by a friend I trust who told me how his BCN disappeared from the online web wallet he was using.

It was very apparently an inside job and he could not trace where the BCN was moved to as the BCN explorer does not allow that for privacy purposes. So he could not report it to expect any meaningful results.

That web wallet is apparently made by the same head developers who developed the coin as it is an official wallet found on the BCN website.  Do you really want to be a part of something like this?

Look at the top of this thread and you can find this warning: "Warning: One or more bitcointalk.org users have reported that they strongly believe that the creator of this topic is a scammer. (Check their trust page to see the detailed trust ratings.) While the bitcointalk.org administration does not verify such claims, you should proceed with extreme caution."

My trusted contact got scammed, and I wiil never ever buy this coin because of his experience with it.
