I'm personally looking forward to seeing my coworker's reaction from here on out. Every couple of days he'll talk about how stupid cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general is, and make some joke about me buying bitcoin. I wonder if it will only intensify during this long bull run (doubling down on dumb) or if he'll just stop talking about it haha.

In my personal experience people have a lot of problems dealing with making mistakes, you could show your coworker evidence about all the money that you had made in cryptocurrencies and how they still have a lot of potential to keep growing and yet he will not change his mind, it is better to not talk to your coworker about cryptocurrencies again and just let the evidence talk by itself, even if he never admits it to you he will come to regret not investing in cryptocurrencies.

I have learnt not to even fall prey for this shit talk by them, I think the only people it can only work on are the new investors, whales has used these method for us several times to make a lot of investors panic sell and dump the coin to their own advantage, but we are not kids anymore in this crypto, so we are not falling for that.

Right now, I know the bull is back and I am so happy we are at the first stage of it but there is still room to buy more now and make more investment, anyone advising against this is an enemy of progress and we shouldn’t listen to them so they don’t have us with their own mentality.

I already had two articles pop up in my feed saying how people shouldn't buy bitcoin and how it isn't a good investment and how it will just keep going down. I guess the nocoiners feel the need to come out and speak against it now that the market is once again proving them wrong. It's gonna be a rough couple of years for these people haha!

I actually think the opposite. Once the bull market goes in full swing, it's very likely that mainstream media will take the chance to jump on the wagon and project completely unsustainable predictions, much like how media did back in 2017.

Mainstream media always reflects the market sentiment of the time, because that's what's most popular and creates the most buzz. We've seen negative articles during the bear market, because of the fear and uncertainty within the market. That's just how things work.

Of course, I wouldn't expect everything to be positive even when we're in a bull market because there are certain bitcoin perma-bears that simply will reject anything that you tell them, even if the fundamentals may be improving. But the majority of institutions I think that have entered the crypto market like JP Morgan are opportunistic, and will likely not speak negatively of bitcoin in a bull market, since it involves a vested interest.

Don't mind the negative news. We can already be sure of the decision to buy bitcoin so that belief must be held firmly so as not to be swayed by some negative news that can lead us to resell an asset that has been bought. Make the news as proof that crypto can survive and it has also been proven in recent years and until now crypto is still in demand by people even though the negative news about crypto is getting more crowded especially when the crypto condition is increasing. the negative news that was spread could have been raised by several parties who wanted to benefit from the people affected by the news. I am personally ready to face such news.

There are no longer any investors . After what  happened in end 2017 Until now
i remember when prices was 6500 in november It became less than 3500 In a very short period
People talk about the bottom since the prices were 19,000
The market is dominated by a group of people whose Target is money only
There is no regulation in the market ,bitcoin  must crash to 2000 at least
It is your chance to sell now at good prices  And if another crash happend  You can not justify anything

Oh we have seen this happening for a very long time. Every time we see the price rising, the media starts going crazy. They, for some unknown reason starts to find faults and flaws on crypto currency. Negativity about bitcoin starts to spread like cancer through the media. Lets not forget about those so called "specialist" who you never heard of pop up and start screaming "scam". At least, there are people who are aware of such acts and remain unaffected by those FUDs spread by the media.

The media is just looking the way for people to buy the news, so it is common to see they keep published the negative news, I had a lot of people mention the bad side of bitcoin, but I think its their lost to not invest in bitcoin, and every time bitcoin rise there will be traditional investors tell that bitcoin is a bubble and not to invest, I guess that is just some narrow minded people that want to stay in their comfort zone, so don't too bother with the people that don't want to improve themselves

We always see 1 out of 10 posts here with negative vews about cryptocurrency since then. I guess people are used to it and doesnt take that as big deal anymore. People knows how to survive cryptocurrency nowadays so they are a lot more prepared in that news.

Well, it's part of human nature to support any of the sides that are usually formed once a topic is placed in the mainstream, because I have no doubt that once bitcoin recovers the bullish trend we are all waiting for, undoubtedly there will be many critical voices raised to denounce the supposed fraud involved in the cryptocurrency trade, but in the same way the true crypto-fanatics will come prepared to sell their houses to invest in cryptos, advising their whole family to do same. Like everything in life, we always have to be cautious and choose to get away from all extremes.

That has become something normal in my view, no matter the price of bitcoin falls and increases negative articles about bitcoin always exist at any time. Let them get tired of negative judgment about bitcoin, the most important thing is that I don't lose the confidence to stay here. The market does not always have high value and does not always have a low value, because the market continues to fluctuate which proves there is strong activity there.

why ? what would be the reason why we should see alot of negative article on bitcoin  ?  so far bitcoin is doing well . the price is still fighting despite of the huge chunks that fall last time . i believe this cant cause for the people to feel bad and say negative thought around the web  but speaking of negativity . negative news and article are always been there on crypto ever since they first came out  .  we must thank those who hate and bash bitcoin because bitcoin will be nothing without them  .  they can also be a reason on why bitcoin is regaining dominance  .

you are confusing a bunch of stuff with each other.
supporting some ideology, criticizing others, and things like that are normal human behavior and everyone does them. but that is not the topic of discussion here. this topic is about all the nonsense and the FUD that comes out every time certain people miss their chance at accumulation at cheaper prices or every time certain other people feel threatened about bitcoin and the fact that it is growing so fast.

We can't prevent them really who are writing against bitcoin. But true is they can't stop by writing, because bitcoin isn't not just a coin name, its is brand and it's a community. So they will never able to stop growth of bitcoin ever and forever. We have seen also lot of negative articles on last bull run. But it bitcoin show its trend and proved itself. what happened in 2017 also happened in 2013 and in 2011. why do you assume this time is different?

i could see a flash crash to $1800 but why must it happen? i'm as hesitant to predict a bull market as the next person, but it seems more like a coin flip than a sure thing.

Nah! I don't think the negative news will have that much effect anymore. The current holders have proven that they're a stern support group while people who will join are probably aware already of the risks. Fuds won't have that much impact at this time i think.

Oh jesus christ you guys are right, I forgot about that part of bull run... Now that we are up a bit there will be a TON OF people on TV saying bitcoin will go down again and all will be like a unison of sounds telling same thing on every TV show they go out.

Until of course bitcoin goes up even more and even more at which point TV shows will get other people who support bitcoin and even bitcoin famous people like Erik Vorhees to talk about how awesome bitcoin is at which point you can understand bitcoin reached its peak again and we will have a possibility of going down, whenever bitcoin increases way too much you will start to see actually smart people on TV.

Hopefully, these negative ones will be small to minimum because it is getting more boring every single time they do the same thing and we prove them wrong every single time.

Sometimes such fud news is really needed to stabilize the price of bitcoin so that the increase is not just a bubble so that the increase really becomes a healthy bullish trend. I agree that news like this should indeed be ignored because if we are all intelligent, we will not be consumed by bad news about bitcoin.

I hope this won't hinder the progress of bitcoins price this year. Me? I am already aware of this news and articles such giving bad reviews or ridiculous insights from them to destroy BTC's standing. But sadly it affects the price BTC because maybe some individuals that are into it are slowly brainwashed by these sites and influence them to stop it resulting to a declining price.

Yes, it is normal even in life, once you begin to progress, people start to talk shit about you but never knew about you when you had nothing which is not cool. this is the time when we begin to see a lot of FUD news about crypto, but I think it's not going to affect the market as it did in 2017 because a lot of persons don't care about FUD anymore, they just focus on the market because those who came up with FUD news then are now fans of what they once called a scam.
