Here depends on the coins we hold and the many experiences that have been experienced, so many statements are out there and we must be able to conclude to unite them with the reality.
About of holding, of course it's still a high chance to earn profit in a certain time, especially the top crypto coins, I still hold some and still in my long term purpose.
conditions greatly affect us in making business or trade investments so we must check the condition of market movements. the coins we have are also influential and there are many other things that affect the results in the future. we must be patient and try to be calm so that you can manage well. if we want good results, of course we need to work hard to find a way to get it. And so far the condition now says that we better HODL because the market is making a recovery now. So if you are a smart investor, it's very easy for you to HODL because you are looking at your investments for long term. As opposed to those speculators who love to short and make money out of every market situations. So I guess it depends on the investors or speculators goal. |

I agree with the author,a good strategy, if you know how to trade.I also trade.But there are those who do not know how to trade on the stock exchanges,do not have enough knowledge and experience,or they are affraid to lose all that they have.Perhaps this is why many people hodling coins in the wallet.

That's correct. Trading is, by far, not for everybody. On the other hand, math tells that if a project is pretty good, since the coin is in limited supply, the price should rise, sooner or later. Hence hodling is a simple winning strategy. |

Well, for me, i have no option than to hold the lots i have been able to gather till date. Many of the coins am holding are actualy not in the range of the top coins which kinda's apprecaiting lately.. So i'd rather hold than let impatience riuns my chance of getting more from my long term investments

Yes, I still continue the hold my tokens. Because when I was first involved in this market, I started to make long-term investments. That's why I'm not selling my tokens because of a sudden drop in the market. And I'm probably going to keep holding my tokens until 2022.

I suggest you analyze market capabilities first before determining your time to hold your assets longer. don't be sorry when you see high growth and you miss it. when there is an increase stay focused on the market, whenever you have to be prepared for the decline that occurs. |

Yes i am, i am still holding until now and wait for the right time or when it will grow again. This moment of time i am still working as a bounty hunter at the same time holding some of my coin to get high profit and not for making me loss it.

I am hodling some coins which is the Ethereum, Bitcoin and Stellar, because i am sure that their price would raise. After the big crush those coins price dropped too much and there should be raise. Unfortunately i am selling my bounty coins at the first exchange day because i know that i have to wait years to make profit from them..

I am holding coins that i know will give me fortune in the long run while i also do trading and gain some profits. We can't blame people if they just want yo hold because some are not knowledgeable in trading but if they will study and learn how it works they will love it.
You are right; we all don’t have same head, skill and strategy. We can also not all be doing same thing together which is what makes the market fun, some have to lose for some to gain, not many people even have the courage, strength or time to trade, so we better leave them to stay in their holding decision if it will give them more peace of mind. In the end, whether we trade or we hold, our aim and goal is to make huge profit which both of them are more capable of providing, and like you said, we should focus on what is good for us personally while we can as well share our life experience with people to see if there is anyone our experience can assist instead of blaming. |

Why sell cheap while you can hold for weeks or months and earn big from your hard work from these bounties which doesn't pay well off late. I'm a proud hodler and will always advice newbies to hold and I can I assure them, they wouldn't regret holding.

Am still holding my coins awaiting bull run in future and you should note that is not everyone that is good is trading crypto currency particularly day trading. Holding for a long period of time is a good way of trading only if you can do away with the funds for a while. |

Maybe for you trading daily could be very profitable to you but to someone it might not. And everybody has his or her preferences, some investor might love to develop a long term investment plan and others may prefer short term investment which might be very profitable for them. Hodling is often by choice for most investors due to an investment plan. |

Show your trading history. I do not believe that you can easily make 100% profit per month on daily trading. Technical analysis almost does not work on the cryptocurrency market, so it is very difficult to guess the direction of price movement. |

The ones who hold coins are the ones doing passive investments meaning they don't want to put efforts. All they need to do is to buy coins, and then wait when the prices go up. This is a long term investment. Maybe these people have other business too or regular jobs that they don't need a regular income from trading. Passive investment is not bad at all depending on your purpose.

Trading is really nice as you are likely to get your profit within a short period, but its also riskier since you could lose everything if care is not taken. Also not all could afford the start up capital for trading so we have to hold on to our penny coins. At the right time we will definitely join you guys to do massive trading.

I sold most of my coins a year ago when we when into the deep bear market. But when things started to look good again last months I took some new positions in some of the coins, But most of those coins have been sold again when they hit my target price on the exchanges.
The only coins I never sold was bitcoins. My biggest altcoin positions are NEO and EOS right now.

trade that can be done is to make a profit. but it cannot be done for people who are just getting to know crypto investment. this market is too risky for new traders. they can lose their money. it's better to hold their assets until they make a profit, and study the market first. |

I am still hoping for hodl of my tokens in my MyEtherWallet, because i can't sell it with a low cost now, maybe in the near future market i can make profit out of it by holding my tokens. I hope that in the near future prices would go up so that i could sell or trade it in a profitable price.
