I'm not sure that these are really the wealthiest people. These are only those who agrred to reveal their identity, although I'm not sure how clever that is. But I beleive there are people with more cryptocurrencies but they remain anonimous. Also, the value of their wealth changes with the value of coins, so it's not stable category.

There are a lot of people who are concealing their selves from such list for security purposes of course. Although the coin value, do change a lot but with the volume that they have, it will still make them the wealthiest among the others.

We are aware on the millionaires last 2017 but because of the sudden price drop, i assume that their assets got down also and its just normal. If you want to be like them then why not buy more bitcoins and wait for another moon. Who knows, maybe your name will be put on that list after.

They have the means to do that, hodling and buying from the dip is only two ways to make it to the top and of course they should already rich to be able to do that, compared to us we sometimes need to sell some of our coins because of our daily needs or emergency needs.

I am sure that more people who are involved in the crypto will be the next richer person and I think Forbes needs to add them in their list. But I think the very richer person from crypto is the person who can sell the asset in 2017 including selling bitcoin in a large amount. That person will be the very richest person in the worlds because he/she can make a lot of money from crypto.
But I don't surprise if the wealthiest people in crypto come from the owner of the exchanges, founder of the project because they can easily to make money from crypto.

I've noticed that among the 19 crypto millionaires/billionaires included in the list, there is only one that I see different which is Matthew Mellon. All of them are CEOs of famous crypto in the market and founders of companies while on the other hand Matthew is just an individual investor. It is so amazing to know that someone became super rich by believing in a once called shitcoin (I'm sure everybody does especialy from its beginning days). I am amused to his courage to take the risk of losing money and going home with nothing, fortunately good things happened. He absolutely made the right decision .

Anyway, I guess making on the list has a disadvantage somehow. Imagine, yeah! You've got the fame but there are consequences such as being prone from robbery incidents and there are now tendecies of paying taxes, not mentioning the fact that you're privacy will never the same anymore. So if I will be a crypto millionaires, I'll just be quiet to keep the essence of anonymity.

I understand what the OP says, actually there are quite a lot of rich people in the world of cryptocurrency, including satoshi nakamoto who have never been published, but the people referred to by OP in my opinion are the richest cryptocurrency people in the world who have $ 350 million in crypto assets .

They have hodl coins or investing in companies that on AtH and on the bottom have showed to be projects with a future. There is a big difference if you invested on Eth and hodl and if you invested on a Hyip token that could eventually be worth zero.

You should only hodl if you really believe in the project and on the people that are working there.
