Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

(Sent, TXID PM'd) I am still confused about there being 4-tables though, if there are only 3-prizes and the tables aren't for the raffleception. Am I being dumb again?Re-read the rules, I get it now. For anyone else with a similar confusion: Most raffles only consider the final character of a block for the winning ticket, but this raffle will take the second to last character 0000000000000000000fcfc3aed325d848bceebefe745870d860e9807ceba8 b5 - "b" in the case of Block #570740, to decide which table will be rolled on the final character 0000000000000000000fcfc3aed325d848bceebefe745870d860e9807ceba8b 5 - "5" in this case. So, our example Block #570740 would be Table B, with a winning raffle ticket of "5". We'll do this 3-times to decide our winners. Correct me if I'm wrong, please  I know this is probably self-explanatory for most of you, but I had to read the rules 6-times before I understood what was going on. When Hhampuz explained it the first time (and second), I must've not read it correctly, oops! |

@bill gator, you almost have it right.. let me break it down: Each Table has 4 different characters assigned to it at the top (within the parantheses). Your example of a blocks hash: 0000000000000000000fcfc3aed325d848bceebefe745870d860e9807ceba8b5 Means that "b" decides the table, which in this case is table C (You can see that Table C has 9, 0, a, b within parantheses). And then "5" would be the winning ticket inside of Table C. Does that make sense? |
