Number of Blockchain wallet users are now above 35 million

This wallet numbers is only the number of users who use blockchain website as wallet and users who uses blockchain app? Or this numbers is the total number of all wallets? Either is hardware wallet, or other mobile phone wallets? But even so there is a lot of people who use it and  new people will come and use bitcoin.

One person can use multiple wallets and this means that number is not similar with the number of bitcoin users. Pretty much everyone has at least 2-3 wallets on their own, some even more and we also have to take in consideration that a big part of those wallets are lost and not used anymore so don't know if we can count them.

I believe Coinbase's Brian Armstrong stated there would be 1 billion cryptocurrency users in a few years. With more countries experiencing hyperinflation, the demand for bitcoin should skyrocket. Bitcoin will always have a significant market share.

Yes the numbers of blockchain wallet users might be small now compared to the global population and also there are other popular wallet providers too like coinbase, paxful etc  nevertheless there is growing awareness about bitcoin everyday we have new entrant and investors coming on board to invest in cryptos I am very optimistic in few years to come the demand for bitcoin will grow in leaps and bound thus exceeding the numbers of present users.

Well the number of wallet is not related to the number of users.

I think that there is less people than this really using blockchain. We're still far from mass adoption, we are a small community.

That's an increasing number, but how can we get the real number of users using bitcoin ?
One person can make multiple accounts, and some just leave the accounts after they use it, so we just get the percentage to determine the number of users.

This is the only proof that everyday many people are going to embrace the crypto industry. It is a huge number of wallet user and it means it is also huge of people who are using and start investing in crypto industry. I hope every government will see this they will think that they need to step to the next level of regulation about crypto.

But kidding aside this is enough reason that the community are increasingly growing from 10years of operation,and I believe that in another 10 years this will increase for atleast x10 or more meaning the adoption are in the process now and were only looking for a breakthrough so everyone on the world would learn about what crypto can bring them

35 million is very very minuscule number and doesn't give a clear picture of bitcoin users. Even though I don't have any documents to prove but I believe the actual number of bitcoin wallets is at least 5-7 times higher than this 35 million!

That's an increasing number, but how can we get the real number of users using bitcoin ?

When you use bitcoin you use the chain, not some web wallet where transactions are done off hain and you're not the only one controlling the keys.
So the maximum number of users can only be approximated by the chain transactions done in a day adding a 10-25% for the LN.

Defining usage, let's say 1 tx a week and you get 3 million users.
1 a month you get 12 million at max.
1 a day....300 000.

That information does not really tell us much about the rate of adoption, there are many bitcoin users that have more than one wallet and there are several reasons for this, they could be diversifying their risk, they could assign different functions to each wallet or they could be trying to protect their privacy, in any case due to the nature of bitcoin is impossible to know how many users it currently has.

However what that number tell to us is that there is a strong tendency for the number of wallets to go up which can only be interpreted as the number of users going up and this is very important because right now we find ourselves in a bear market so that number should grow even more rapidly when bitcoin finally recovers.

i think 35 million users is a whooping number compared to the number of persons that are aware of the blockchain technology.
This number will surely grow as more and more persons gets to know about the crypto currency space.

This number is Tue number of users using blockchain wallet and that means the number is higher then what we have because there are other wallet operator all around and if added to this number the number will still greatly increase.

Doesn't mean that there are 35 million individuals using the Blockchain.info wallet. For example, I have 5-6 different wallets on that site. But the growth is quite impressive and 35 million is no small amount. And IMO, they remain as the no.1 online wallet available freely for storing Bitcoins (as well as other cryptos such as ETH, BCH and XLM).

Interesting metric, though I know that this 36 million figure refers to the number of wallets generated/IPs used to generate new wallets and not really new users per se. With how easy it is to generate a new wallet from blockchain.com's website, one can potentially create hundreds of wallets with hundreds of aliases, so I don't believe that there really are 36-M users of the said service. Even then, it's cool that an online service alone garnered 36-M wallet registration in just a few years, what more to those who are using HD, mobile and full-client wallets.

This numbers are actually not showing anything because one user can have multiple wallets and it's hard to get the exact number of users. Similar like with number of users on Facebook or some other social network, people have more than one profile.
Nevertheless, it's unbelievable that so huge number of users, real or not, is using the least secure wallet that is so vulnerable. So much on security knowledge and protecting the coins.

Not only that but you also can't really count the number of wallets in existence. This is only data from blockchain.com and most people don't use it but have software and hardware wallets. They have to be counting all wallets that were ever created but wallet made in 2012 are mostly abandoned or at least empty by now.

but not all of that 35 million wallet are the numbers of people using the blockchain wallet also.
There are many peoples who have not just 3 wallets but more.
Soon in the near future, everyone will have those wallets.

this is correct. we have different btc addys in various exchanges also. so does it count in this figure? what we are trying to convey here is = the number of blockchain wallet users (as per blockchain.info) does not necessarily correspond to the actual number of individuals. many have lost, forgot, abandoned, etc..
so maybe a quarter or half of that number are only active users or much much less. hard to quantify this number anyway. but one thing for sure, the number of crypto users are growing...and thats the important thing i believe

Of course, this is not a very large figure compared to the total number of people living on earth, but you do not forget that crypto is still very young. Ahead of her waiting for many new discoveries and the number of its users will only increase over time.
