Well I see some criticism already.  But I don't think you will see more from this thread because Manny Pacquiao is so beloved in his country that no one will dare question his motives.

He will just say "I'm doing it for my country and for my beloved Filipinos".

This is a good move by Manny Pacquiao. At the most, he has 1 to 2 years left before he is forced to retire, and Rizin Fighting Federation represents an ideal path to get some big bucks in to his bank account before that date. Don't expect hundred million USD revenue that a fight against Floyd could have brought, but RFF can get him at least $25 million per fight.

My bad for not seeing it. But still Pacquiao is still at the disadvantage it's like taking a spider out from its web. Pacquiao know boxing and Takanori Gomi knows martial arts and they will fight what fighting stance and skills they know.

Is martial arts involved in boxing? I think that will only add to flexibility, strength and patience. I could see the guy on the photo in a posture that looks like martial though and with no hand gloves

A mixed martial arts federation is new with regards to Many Pacqiuiao's comfort zone but im sure that the game will be boxing and since that the opponent is a Japanese, the game would be in fair. Many people likes Many to be seen again in a boxing ring. Another million dollar comming through, beep beep.

Never heard of this Rizin Fighting Federation till now. Another promotional fight and I'm sure that sports fans would love to see Manny fight an MMA fighter.

Nowadays, a boxer are fighting MMA fighter not to protect their belt but of course to make more money. Pacquiao is a great boxer, but if they fight an MMA fighter I think it will ruin its reputation because he fights just for the money. Don't also heard about this federation thing but one thing I'm sure, Manny Pacquiao era is not yet end we will still more fight with him.

This will let pacquiao's ending goal of his career. Technically after having a few fight probably he will going to retire. I know how good he is in boxing but this is a mix martial arts so pacquiao has a lot of weaknesa about it. So, for sure pacquiao's.career will.never have a happy ending unlike mayweather that has retire already with an undefeated record withouth having bad reputations.

I missed out to read your previous comment and we do really have that similar expectations but it seems we arent seeing too much negative views not the same level with Floyd.
This proves out that lots of people do love Manny no matter what decisions he do take.

Manny Pacquaio is not going to compete in this MMA organization but rather make an appearance in some way.
They are paying him for his time and to promote their show.
Manny will stick to boxing because he will earn the most money there and less threat of defeat.
We could see Pacman in a boxing match with this company since you may recall Mayweather making $9 million for his match with Tenshin Nasukawa.

in that case then its going to be quite an offer while pacquiao will take it like he hits two birds in one stone. he seem to be serious in his political career that he register to a university to study political science. if i were in his position i would also accept anything so long as he appears winner in the public eyes. he might be running a position in the government in the next election but before the election he has to appear for a new match as he did before.

As expected we don’t want to see a fight like this, that’s all for the money. Boxer is good for a boxer, and if they mix the fight it should be fair. But why Manny needs to fight like this, he’s more than better to Floyd so hopefully he will not sacrifice his own image for this one. A great boxer needs to become a great boxer not just for the sake of money.

As expected we don’t want to see a fight like this, that’s all for the money. Boxer is good for a boxer, and if they mix the fight it should be fair. Yes its the same Japanese mixed martial art group that signed Floyd Mayweather in a exhibition match with Tenshin Nasukawa that ended up in just 1 round but the contract that Manny Pacquiao signed is unique or shrouded in mystery as there is no stipulation that he will fight anyone, but Fighting Federation is asking Manny Pacquiao to fight Takanori Gomi also a mixed martial artist.

I think I will choose not to love or watch boxing anymore because the speculation going around was there no genuine fight anymore like the days of Tyson, Holyfield etc and now a fighting contract company having a shady contract with a fighter which seems not to fight.

Floyd had set the tone obviously, and Manny and others would be boxing great will follow this path to at least earn easy money before finally hanging their gloves. Obviously, boxing or any other sports out there are business, those promoters, network stations are raking lots of money through the names of sports personality and that is the perks of being one of the best athletes in the world.

Nah but Rizin fighting federation signed Pacman because they want to promote a fight which will feature kickboxer and boxer just like the fight between Tenshin Nasukawa and Floyd Mayweather Jr. However, the crossover combat fight of a thing is not something new.

Firstly, the OP statement is confusing because there's nothing misery in the contract cause the contract was just like the one signed by Mayweather then.
Secondly, Pacman will fight before the contract expire but he's not ready for any fight when he signed the contract cause he had eye injure from his last fight and also busy with election campaign things.
