I don’t understand how it will be possible to make a preliminary reservation for the BOB blockchain phone. There is no section for buying BOB in the Xwallet mobile wallet. Kickstarter also has no information on selling the phone. If the news about the start of preliminary sales appears unexpectedly, then many will not have time to buy a phone, because there are only 5000 copies.
The Function X project team is not going to create a second batch of phones? It should be much more than 5000 devices...

Zac Cheah (CEO and Co-founder) and Pitt Huang (CTO and Co-founder) from Pundi X share with us what Function X is all about, our motivation behind creating it, and how it will power this new era of the decentralized world. The 5 key components of Function X are: - Function X Blockchain - Function X OS - FXTP (Transmission protocol) - IPFX (Decentralized file storage system) - Function X Docker https://youtu.be/z-EfzJXkJAw

There is a good article in here (after BOB Showcase in IFA Berlin) https://www.nederob.nl/2019/09/10/blockchain-phone-bob-showcased-at-ifa/All data that goes and comes from the phone goes through the Function X blockchain. The phone can operate fully on blockchain technology. Each BOB works like a node in the network, supporting the Function X blockchain. Users don’t need a telephone company to call, message or browse the internet. Everything works over blockchain technology. However, consumers can also switch to a classic Android mode and use services provided by mobile phone operators. BOB isn’t available in stores yet. The phone is currently in production. Pre-orders are expected to open somewhere during Q4 2019. PundiX is planning to launch 5000 phones at first, each priced $599.

This format of the project allows to achieve ideal, transparent conditions of competition for the successful development of the world market. Developers have the opportunity to compete with large structures and enterprises, which opens up additional opportunities for the development of business and world society.

Good question.)= I'm sure the reason that you will be charged =). And apparently in FX tokens. After all, the project was created for profit.

I am sure, FX coin will be utilized for this Blockchain call fee / mobile plan. This is one of many utilities that FX Coin has, because every transaction in the FX Blockchain will utilize the native coin. But, i like the idea on the hiring plan, like monthly basis payment as Phone credit for 2 years and got BOB for free, sounds great.

The node which received the message/call/data will verify based on the signoff by Sender's private key. After verification, the call will be saved on the Function X blockchain. The nodes connected to Recipient's BOB will constantly filter the messge/call/data which belongs to Recipient. When received, the nodes will deliver it to Recipient. Once Recipient's device decrypts, he can start the call.
