First of all, thank you for the interest in our company.

We apologize for not having opened an official thread here earlier, but we have been overflown with inquiries.

We would like to clarify who we are and address some accusations.

1) We are a young startup which developed a new kind of rudimental photonic transistor. Despite its size being considerably bigger (2,000 nm) than electric ones, overall it can achieve faster computational speeds because of the faster switching time (i.e. the time the transistor takes to switch from 0 to 1).

During 2013 we implemented a simple SHA-256 core circuit ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SHA-2.svg ). The prototyping costs are very high and the best way to grow faster than our competitors is to IPO and to follow a pre-orders based strategy which will enable us to extend this technology to building full-fledged mining chips.

2) Too good to be true?

We want to be very clear on the fact that we did not build our advertised products yet. The numbers are too good to be true because, in fact, they do not exist yet.

The only exception being our SHA-256 core running at 2 GH/s which has been successfully built and tested. We are impressed with the results and we can't wait to raise enough money to be able to replicate it thousands of times on a chip in order to achieve the advertised speeds. This will be a tortuous road, but the numbers and our beliefs are both telling us that we will make it.

In the last year the hash rate has been growing 100 fold every 6 month.
We plan to ship the first products by September/October 2014, roughly 6 months from now. If the total hashing rate keeps rising at the current pace, we will reach speeds of 3,000,000 TH/s by then.
With a hashing rate of 25 TH/s (our mid-sized miner) we'd be able to mine 0.03 BTC per day (about 19$). However, we believe the hashing rate will grow slower than it did in the last year and therefore we might expect a higher return of investment.

We think we priced our products in a fair way which incorporates manufacturing delays, uncertainties and unknown future hashing rates.

We remain available for other clarifications. We are also working on a video explaining our technology. We hope to be able to share it with you soon.

You're going to need a good PR guy.

Also, I have a friend who owns the building what used to house the old Designed Stairs Inc. store. We'll be able to have free electricity for 6 months, thanks to a program offered by the local electric company. (BTW, that's available across the entire US for any business to take advantage of regardless of usage. After six months, close up shop, move to a new location, apply for a different company name, and get the 6 month freebie again. I wonder how many small bitcoin miner hosting companies are taking advantage of this.)

I truly believe in your project, and salary is negotiable. If nothing else, give me full resale rights in the US, and I'll oversee our resellers here in the states.

That said, I back this endeavor 100%, and state that they are not a scam in any sense of the word.

We'd want physical proof of your claims since you claim to have created a prototype?

Only last summer a transistor was created in Vienna, so how do you go from that in 1 yr to fully functioning device with tens of thousands of such transistors?  All in 1 yr?

A 100% MPP will be made available to the first 10,000 bitcoiners who pre-order any of our miners.

Also, full refunds will be made available via the exact means payment was made. If via BTC, they we will refund at an exchange rate that's favorable to our customers, regardless of the exchange rate. The reason we are able to do this is because we believe there will be few refund request since we WILL deliver on time. In fact, to date we have had not a single refund request.

There will not be any renderings on our site--ONLY actual completed models. Any renderings you may see now are only placeholders for the real McCoy.

Currently, we're toying with an entry level model, but need help in naming it. Please let us know if you favor Rex (as in the dinosaur) or Violet (as in the flower). As of now, it's codenamed Omega, as in the Star Trek Voyager series.

Now, that I'm the PR guy and regional manager of the entire North American market, I need to get some resellers in place.

I'm pretty sure we're going with an 18% reseller fee, and the best way to break it up is via three equal parts: 6% for the RM, me; 6% for the DM (district managers); and 6% for the DM's resellers.

Once a sale is made, all RMs, DMs and Resellers will be paid automatically via an accounting system that's being developed as we speak.

I will have 3 DMs directly under me to cover:

North America
Caribbean
Central America

The above will be further subdivided for the Resellers via Canada (10 provinces and 3 territories), the 50 US States, 7 Central American countries, etc.

I may need to pen a thread just for this aspect alone so that there's full transparency as to who is in charge of what territories.
