Wenn ich die Informationen richtig verstehe, kommen Änderungen auf uns zu (auch wenn ich die Wirex nicht mehr wirklich benutze).

Quote
We have some exciting news to share with you! Wirex, the leading Web3 money app, has extended its partnership with Visa, the global leader in digital payments, to further the use of digital currencies across the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA). This collaboration is set to bring you unmatched benefits and revolutionise your digital payment experience! Having successfully completed Visa's FinTech Fast Track Programme, Wirex have secured the sought after principal membership from the global payments company. Principal membership allows Wirex to issue Visa cards themselves, offer new innovative products, and apply for additional licences.

What Does This Mean for You?

Seamless Integration with Visa Cards

Our partnership will explore new opportunities to leverage and integrate innovative Visa cards, making your payment experiences smoother than ever. By combining Visa’s trusted payment network with Wirex’s cutting-edge product innovation, we aim to reduce friction in every transaction you make.

Introducing Wirex Pay: Revolutionising Payments

A major highlight of this partnership is the launch of Wirex Pay, a modular Zero Knowledge (ZK) payment chain. Wirex Pay is designed to revolutionise how you manage and spend both crypto and traditional currencies. Imagine a world where your transactions are simplified, seamless, and secure - that’s what Wirex Pay is here to deliver.

Why This Partnership Matters

Wirex is proud to be one of the few crypto-native companies licensed by Visa for card issuance, underscoring our pioneering role in the financial industry. Together, we are committed to developing robust solutions that integrate blockchain technology with traditional financial systems, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions for you.

Hear from the Leaders

Sviatoslav Garal, Global Head of Payments at Wirex, shared his excitement:

"Being among the few crypto-native companies licensed by Visa for card issuance, and notably the first, emphasises Wirex's pioneering role in the financial industry. At a time when the financial world is boldly moving towards Web3 and decentralisation, the need for robust solutions for global funds movement remains essential. Key ecosystem players like Visa play a tremendous role in this shift. Wirex, a renowned innovator in both Web3 and traditional finance, is thrilled to have Visa's partnership in bridging the gap between these two spaces."

Cuy Sheffield, Head of Crypto at Visa, echoed this sentiment:

"Partnering with Wirex to help integrate blockchain technology with traditional finance, including the launch of Wirex Pay, aligns closely with our vision for the future of payments while highlighting the importance of collaboration in driving fintech innovation."

What’s Next?

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate and bring you the best in digital finance. This partnership is just the beginning of an exciting journey that promises to bring you unparalleled benefits and seamless digital payment experiences.

Thank you for being a valued member of the Wirex community. We're excited to have you with us on this journey towards the future of digital payments.

Best regards,

The Wirex Team
