Generally, no. Not all team members are part of the core group of the project. Other members are acquired thru hiring.

But since it's Jamal, this is another case. His current status will surely affect the overall view of the project. Not digging yet into details but it's quiet obvious for all people here that any project involving Jamal should not be followed. It does mean that the project owners itself didn't do the right screening during the process of finding a team members unless Jamal itself is part of the core team or there are more "story under the table" we doesn't don't know yet.

As far as I am aware, the project is not a scam. No money has been raised and there have not been any attempts at fundraising either.

A simple action to create hype around a particular coin/token is already an attempt.

I understand your sentiments. You are a good bounty manager in my view. It's just that "it's Jamal".

More details are here.
Project name: BitcoinAir (XBA)
I figured as much. It is indeed a scam; I'm too busy to tag those who are promoting it as of this time. SoonTM.
You should not just tag all of them (Bounty hunters), warn them first before tagging them with negative feedback. They don't know if the project is a scam or not.

I am not sure how strongly you believe projects isn't scam and not involved with money. Are not they selling their coin/token on exchange? So from where came this coin/token on exchange. Obviously from team, the of course fund is going to team as well. Since team members/co-founder involved with scam previously how we believe him that he will not scam or he will not skip after sell his token/coin.

For your info, if just listed on exchange doesn't prove legitimate of any project's. Coin/token might be drop or delisted any time when team will skip or inactive. So there is huge chances of scam in my opinion.

People buy and sell tokens on an exchange in anticipation of profit, people are free to do their research whether they believe an investment will generate profit or not.

Is IOTA a scam? It's currently -51% from its ICO price. What about Ontology? Also -50% from its ICO price.

The fact that Bitcoin Air has any value at all makes it worth infinitely more than zero. I could understand your concerns if people invested money into it, then it dumped on exchange, but simply trading on exchange is in no way an indication it is a scam, the logic you used is so flawed I can't even imagine why you'd say it.

Practically every single project with a token is listed on an exchange.

Total sell orders on Coinexchange.io are Total: 33495 XBA... A tiny fraction of the circulating supply. Or do you think that the co-founder only has 33,000 XBA and is trying to crash the market with $600 worth of coins?

Even if the founders decided to dump the entire supply on an exchange, it's a free market.

As I stated before, I find it highly unlikely the project is an overt scam, if it is then it's an absolute failure of a scam. The evidence provided in this thread is paper thin at best, could you imagine this taken to court? Since Jamal invested his money into this project, everything he touches must be a scam? Better hope he hasn't bought any Amazon shares or we're about to see one huge exit scam.

Is IOTA a scam?
Yes, it has been empirically proven that their claims are lies (i.e. impossible in practice).

What about Ontology?
Yes, also a scam.

Since Jamal invested his money into this project, everything he touches must be a scam? Better hope he hasn't bought any Amazon shares or we're about to see one huge exit scam.
Jamal is one of the founders of this scam. Had Jamal been one of the founders of Amazon, then it would very likely be a scam indeed (Amazon is a scam anyways, but that's a different discussion).

You didn't choose the best examples for your defense.  Cheesy

Not necessary.
Sometimes team can't know the past and current reputation of people they work with.
So if the project itself is OK no need to worry, I think.

If I or anyone from Bitcoin Air team ask anyone for any money for whatever reasons. that would mean it's a scam. or the person/source is phishing or an impersonator.  BitcoinAir is not an ICO or have any kind of investment programs.
everyone is responsible to protect his own money. do your proper research and make your move.
Trade/Buy Bitcoin(Air) and any other coins/tokens at your own risk.
if any (crypto) project owner claims that his project(coin/token) is 100% risk-free and offers high profit for your investment, means that is a scam.

Thank you.

I can only say that neither the coin trading on exchanges nor it having no ICO means the project is trustworthy. There have been many scam projects trading their coins on exchanges and still being scam. One such projects scammed me of $200 so talking from experience. Would usually avoid such projects. Why was the ANN locked?

They are already trading on Exchange but doesn't have a good market cap. And they are trying to apply on more exchanges.

Honestly chances is too high where its pretty much clear to understand that if a project hire scammer as a team member then there's much possibility that other members have past record too. I always believe that committing scam or supporting scam is likely same. So if full team member don't bother to have a member on their team who have past scam record or couldn't able to investigate about that persons background properly then its fair to tag the entire thing.

As a crypto investor everyone wants to be on the safe zone before selecting a project for investment. So its quite easier for them to take decision if they find any single person of the existing project is a proven scammer.

I mean... Shitcoins... Most projects are scams, a member that was tagged as such and no one mentioning anything makes it pretty obvious. Also, really how many bitcoins we will get like this just to squeesh money of people. We i mean crypto people, if i had a pc i would of perhaps bothered to tag the team op minimum.

just go and tag if you want. That's why here I created the thread so DT members and investors/traders know about the project and their status. I don't know the real person behind the project but allowing unreputable member in the team is not good.

Please do this. I did not modify any images, you threatened to kill me completely unprovoked in PM. I offered a chance to redeem yourself, but then you threatened to kill me again.
