The best way to take loan for Bitcoin investment is when you are working and you take a loan and then little percentage of your salary will be taken weekly or monthly till the loan is completed, if it is done this way then there won't be any problem, and for those who wants to take this move please Don't be in a hurry make sure the interest in the loan is okay one that won't affect your finance.
I understand your point. Despite working, have you been in a situation where you were lent some amount of money for a particular project, and it didn't turn out as profitable as you thought? It turned out disappointing. Such a thing can happen to a borrowed amount on Bitcoin investment because the person invested with the belief that, within this time, the market would be profitable for him or her, but it didn't. As we are just anticipating the bull run to happen a few months from now, it didn't happen, but it happened towards the last quarter of the year. How will the person deal with the disappointment even when he pays back the loan? Won't his or her mood change to bad about the crypto market.Hopefully none of us are talking about shitcoins in this this thread..or trying to suggest that bitcoin is the same as shitcoins and we can use vague and misleading words, such as "crypto" in order to suggest that bitcoin is merely a part of the shitcoin space... or suggest bitcoin is similar to shitcoins, and hopefully you don't think that.. even though you probably don't know what bitcoin is, if you think that you can refer to it as "crypto.".., or maybe you were just trying to sound smart, which your use of that vague and misleading word surely does not make you look smart, but instead the opposite. anybody who is trying to compare or comparing bitcoin to other shitcoins is really making a very big mistake, at least he should try and read the history of bitcoin before coming to do any comparison, because bitcoin started as an experimental digital currency but now it has grow to become the world class asset that has attracted investors from different countries and nations who are now investing in bitcoin continuously and making massive profits and bitcoin is still growing continuously.

I agree with you completely anticipating the bull run to happened , taking a loan to invest in Bitcoin is welcome development in a situation where you need cash to establish businesses one need to take a risk you got to borrowed from the souce without undermining the risk ahead , but you got want you need loan taking attract profitable interest sometimes it happened to be a disappointment when the loanee put more interest when you couldn't meet up the agreement.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

During 2019, I purchased Bitcoin with most of my savings and I thought I already had enough. But when you log in to a forum everyday that only talks about Bitcoin, you are sort of making yourself accumulate MORE. That's what I did during 2022 and 2023. Next accumulation, perhaps 2026? ......... ..................It's a matter for personal preference. I like to buy DIPs during a bear market when the price is near, is touching, or under the 200 Simple Moving Average of the weekly chart. But newbies can DCA if they personally believe it's right for them. Have you been able to outperform a strict DCA approach, like the one that I mentioned earlier? Honestly, I never made the proper calculations, nor have I thought about making one because I'm VERY happy with my decision during 2019. But for the sake of helping me answer that question, let's pretend my life savings during 2019 was $22,500 and I used $20,000 to purchase Bitcoin, obtaining them with an average price of about $5000. What would be my average purchasing price if I started a weekly DCA from April to December of that year? 🤔 You should be able to make fair calculations. Since your savings in 2019 was likely different from your savings in 2016, and you also had cashflow too. So any potentially aggressive DCA strategy woudl have had taken those matters into account. It seems that you are saying that you purposefully hesitated to buy bitcoin between mid-2016 and 2019, so accordingly you were saving in cash during that time in order to wait for a better opportunity to get into bitcoin, and surely the opportunity to get into bitcoin was better in mid-2016 than it was in 2019 - even though there was a dip in BTC prices in 2018. You can look at your own cashflow situation between 2016 and 2019 and figure out what you might have had been able to do if you had gotten started earlier and been more aggressive during those times rather than deploying a waiting strategy. Sure, we can never know for sure, even though many of us ongoingly suggest that it is better to get started and to figure out how you are going to employ your BTC buying approach, and waiting does not tend to be a good approach, even if you might end up choosing to spread your introduction into bitcoin over time rather than lump sum going into bitcoin with everything that you have in the beginning. Surely if you had a lump sum of $15k in mid 2016, then you could have bought right around 25 BTC at that time (averaging around $600 per BTC) If you had $25k in mid-2019, you could have bought around 5 BTC at that time (averaging around $5k per BTC, as you mentioned). Now we don't have to have all or nothing answers in order to still be able to appreciate the value of getting started early, even if you might have some combination of DCA, lump sum and buying on dips with your savings and also with any additional cashflow that you would have had been getting. We also cannot turn back the clock, even though we can measure and compare different approaches and attempt to be honest with ourselves about the approaches and the unknown nature of being in any particular position at any particular time. We don't have the advantages of hindsight until after the time had already passed.

1) Self-Custody is a right. Resist being labelled as: "non-custodial" or "un-hosted." 2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized. 3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

What is the essence of taking loan to invest when you already have a job that you earn from, this is just a mistake you are about to make in the beginning of an investment. If you can't afford to invest the little you can because so much responsibility you have at and then it is better to wait when you are able to sort out your financial load then you can invest the amount you can afford. Taking loan while you have a job to invest bitcoin does not make sense and I think Jo need for thst. Investing bitcoin is very easy, just have understanding and a job you earn from then you can invest bitcoin. You don't have to borrow money because you want to invest a bigger amount, you can start small, something that you can afford. You don't need to allow investment to stress you just because you want to invest.

Comparing bitcoin to other shitcoin is a total waste of time , you know why? Because is very obvious that bitcoin is far different from others digital currency, is not easy to see investment that will give you peace of mind , those that are always bothering with the price movement of bitcoin don’t really understand how bitcoin works , bitcoin has gone through the worse and still bounce back something other coins can not survive from , a coin that’s being driven by the love of the community, and is not own by any organization, which shows that bitcoin is owned by everyone .

Bitcoin has a price cycle that repeats itself every 4 to 5 years and if you can wait for 4 to 5 years then you will get good yield on your money. If one has patience then he should go for 10 years investment plan, like keep buying Bitcoin for 10 years in case there is no huge money or invest huge capital as lump sum and wait for 10 years. If we go back 10 years then we can see that price of Bitcoin was under 500$ in 2015 which is nothing compared to current price of Bitcoin. DCA is most liked and followed because everyone can adopt that with ease.
It seems to me that with bitcoin there is a much better plan to supplement any lump sum buys that you do with ongoing DCA rather than just sitting around and waiting for your lump sum investment for 10 years. Many folks are not even able to lump sum and wait around, and many times they also don't want to lump sum, but they are actually practically sometimes able to lump sum a certain amount and they might even be able to front-load their investment over a year or two so that they are mostly in after a short period of time rather than investing over a whole cycle or two. It tends to be way more practical for a lot of people to directly invest via DCA for a cycle or two rather than lump summing or being able to front load their investment into bitcoin. I feel like a bit of a hypocrite making these assertions, since I do consider most of my bitcoin investment to have been during my first year and then supplementing a bit more over the next year and a half, and then at that point I went more into maintenance mode rather than accumulation mode... so an overwhelming majority of my BTC accumulation was done over two years...and even most of that accumulation was more heavily weighted in my first year investing into bitcoin... but it was mostly a front loading and taking various lump sum amounts from other locations and investing those amounts in to bitcoin in a hybrid DCA kind of a way. Anyone who is new to Bitcoin or haven't invested anything into Bitcoin might not be interested in investing huge capital as Lump Sum, no matter how much money he has. It's a matter of time before new comers (or no coiner) thinks that it's fine to go investing Lump Sum. During that phase it's perfectly fine to go on with DCA. Once you got yourself familiar with bitcoin then investing Lump Sum looks great specially on current dips. I personally think that those who want to go for Lump Sum and also looking for dip then current price of 83k is an ideal price for such people. About your 10 years ago investment strategy, that's why I said that anyone who can invest today and wait patiently for 10 years will get good yield. Who knows 10 years from now, Bitcoin might by over one million USD. Eid Greetings to all Hodlers !!! There is nothing wrong if a low coiner or no coiner wants to buy bitcoin with a lump sum strategy. There are low coiners or no coiners who can decide to lump sum at the early stage of their investment so that they can accumulate a reasonable size of bitcoin before they can start accumulating bitcoin consistently with the DCA strategy. You are misunderstanding the concept of a lump sum strategy. The concept of a lump sum strategy is not about waiting for a dip before you can buy bitcoin with a lump sum, but it is about buying bitcoin with a large amount of money right away when your lump sum money is readily available, even though the price of bitcoin is high or low at the time you want to lump sum.

Like what I usually tell people is that any method you are choosing to buy or purchase bitcoin is base on the one that’s convenient for them , starting with lump summing is a very smart move ( if you have the money ) , it will give a good boost or rather a good start up in your bitcoin accumulation, then you may choose to follow up with one if the most common method with is Dcaing , so waiting for the dip is actually different from lump sum purchases, buying the dip will demand you to wait for a certain dip before going into the market and most time things may not go as you planned it to go , so one of the coolest and safest method is dcaing .

It is not adviceable to use a line to invest in Bitcoin because it will definitely affect your purchase of Bitcoin and the loan can force you to sell your Bitcoin when you are not determined to do so, and so you now go back to zero level, since loan comes with interest rate, how do you pay it off, what about the collaterals for the loan aside from the interest rate, how well will it be met with the time frame, it is better you have an alternative source of income to add to your salary and start building your portfolio, that is why it is adviceable as a new investor in Bitcoin, you start with the DCA strategy which will help you buy Bitcoin little by little buying and HODLing it for a long-term.
If you are planning to invest in bitcoin, I don’t recommend you take loan or sell your property just because you want to invest in bitcoin, you should invest with your own money, and it shouldn’t be with everything you are having, you should make sure some money is left as reserve. I know some people will still like to take loan to invest in bitcoin, if anyone is planning to do that, then you should make sure that you will be able to pay back the loan without depending on the bitcoin which you are holding, make sure you have a source of income that will be able to pay back the loan, because if you depend on the bitcoin which you bought with the loan you took, you might end up being indebted. When we are holding bitcoin, our plan for bitcoin should be a long term investment, nobody knows when bitcoin is going to pump or dump, if we end up taking loan to buy bitcoin, and it’s start dumping, how will you be able to pay back your loan? So if you don’t have any other sources of income to pay for the loan, then avoid loan to invest in bitcoin.

What is the essence of taking loan to invest when you already have a job that you earn from, this is just a mistake you are about to make in the beginning of an investment. surely there is nothing wrong in taken loan to front load your investment provided the person is capable or can be able to pay with his salary in due time, bitcoin investment is an individual or personal investment including that decision making is adjustable. if a person is working and decided to take loan to buy bitcoin to increase his investment or accumulation then there is nothing wrong with it provided he can pay. when it becomes a problem is when the person in question does not have a job to pay back and went ahead to take loan to invest in bitcoin and hoping to take the profit in his bitcoin investment and pay back the dept.

If I started during 2016, you're right. But I was a "trader" losing some money during that time before I decided to invest only in Bitcoin. If I started to Dollar Cost Average during 2019, it's obvious that I would have less units in Bitcoin. I was merely lucky to have decided during the right time if we consider my situation. I lost some of my savings during my days of "trading" shitcoins before 2019.

It all depends on the type of loan that is being offered, if it's a loan with low interest were you pay back bit by bit, and it's spread for a longer duration then it's quite ok, but if it's a loan with one time payment when paying back, it's a big mistake that should be avoided. And selling of properties to invest in Bitcoin is not a bad idea, only if you are selling a depreciating assets.
Why would you invest in Bitcoin when you have no source of income in the first place? For you to be able to invest in Bitcoin consistently, you must have a source of income paying your bills and the decretionary income left can be used to invest in Bitcoin, but if you have no source of income then you invest in Bitcoin just because a few box got into your hands, it's just a matter of time before you withdraw your Bitcoin, sell it and use the money to take care of your financial needs, so having a source of income is a must, in other to be successful as a Bitcoin investor. That is why when a loan offer comes in, the first thing that gets to your head as a sane investor is how can the money be payed back from your salary or wages, not from your holdings, if the money can debited bit by bit from your salary and the interest is low, bro it is a loan that should be properly utilized, because opportunities like that doesn't comes handy like that nowadays.

Bitcoin investment is the only way to achieve success, because if you can invest patiently in the DCA method, you will be successful. Those who have been doing the DCA method from the past and those who will do the DCA method from the present will be successful. Because the future of Bitcoin is very good, due to which its price is gradually improving, so you only need to take risks, the biggest desire of Bitcoin investment, currently Bitcoin is going on a dip, only those who can buy this dip will be successful. And buying a dip in the DCA method awakens the ability of more investors to invest. You sound so confusing because at the beginning of your post, you said that anyone who patiently invests in bitcoin with the DCA strategy will be successful, and at the end of your post, you said that only those investors who can buy the dip will be successful, which simply means that you don't really know how bitcoin investment works. Buying a dip is good, but it doesn't guarantee success in bitcoin investment, and no strategy guarantees success in bitcoin investment. For you to be successful in bitcoin investment, it solely depends on how you invest in bitcoin because you can't be investing in bitcoin with the DCA strategy in such a way that you will be struggling to sort out your daily expenses and expect to be successful in bitcoin.

Left for me, being successful in bitcoin investment is not about the strategy an investor use or how much the person invested with and overtime, being a successful investor, to me is how patient an investor can be, patience is the only guarantee that one's investment or goals towards their investment could be achieved, it is said that Bitcoin investment requires investors to hold for long-term and regardless of other important things like capital, steady income, DCA strategy and so forth, the main thing that would keep an investment going for 5 to 10 years or even more is patience, if an investor lacks it then it would be quite difficult to meet their goals or succeed in their investment journey. So whether one does the DCA, Lump-sum or even if they decide to buy the dip you'll still need patience to achieve your aim of investing.

If you are planning to invest in bitcoin, I don’t recommend you take loan or sell your property just because you want to invest in bitcoin, you should invest with your own money, and it shouldn’t be with everything you are having, you should make sure some money is left as reserve.
Taking a loan to invest in Bitcoin or someone selling their properties to invest in Bitcoin may not be a good idea. However, in some circumstances, someone can do that if he or she has a good reason for it. I don't have a problem with that. For example, if an investor who has been investing in Bitcoin sees an opportunity when the price of Bitcoin is down and has a good source of income to pay back the loan, I don’t think it will lead to a problem. People are generally not advised to take loans to invest in Bitcoin because of the difficulty in repaying the loan. However, if you have a way to pay it back as an experienced investor and will not rely solely on your Bitcoin investment, I don’t see it as a big problem. As for selling properties to invest in Bitcoin, it depends on the type of property someone is willing to sell. If the property is not valuable to you like an old motorcycle you no longer use, or if someone has more than one car and is no longer using one or two of them selling the unused one and investing the money in Bitcoin is not a bad idea. However, selling valuable properties to buy Bitcoin is something I would never advise anyone to do because it will definitely affect them negatively.
Long term holding has been the best way to be successful in Bitcoin investment, and long term holding is very important in Bitcoin investment. So, anyone who wants to take a loan to invest in Bitcoin must be a long term holder and planning to hold for long term that person must have source of income to pay back the loan. Taking a loan to invest in Bitcoin and aiming for the profits to pay back the loan within a short period is seen as trading, and I would never advise anyone to do such because it will surely affect them.

You have said it all in relating to investment, that patient is the only solutions for an investors to achieve his goals when it comes to Bitcoin, i know that self discipline should come along with patient, because any investors that doesn't have self discipline in him can never be patient enough to wait till when the dip will finally happen, if any investors doesn't have self discipline to be patient enough no matter the strategy he may decide to use, you will finally see the such investors will be tempteded to always making use of short term investment, so Bitcoin is all about having the mindsets of waiting for longer term since Bitcoin is all about the future investment, we should never be in a hurry to trade or sell off Bitcoin, i believe that with functioning of this thread many investors will be learning something new on how to go about his investment, likewise me.

Self-discipline is something that must be present in all fields of work and not only in jobs such as investment. Because with that discipline, every investor will always have a deep spirit and patience in every process they go through themselves, but Bitcoin investors who do not want to trade Bitcoin in the short term will also not wait too often for a price drop if they want to continue making purchases on Bitcoin as an addition to their own assets for the future. So the advice you said is actually very good, but there is a little confusion if the mindset of Bitcoin investors still has to wait for a price drop when they want to make a purchase, because what every Bitcoin investor has to wait for more patiently is the price increase after they buy Bitcoin (regardless of whether they buy it when the price is sideways or experiencing a slight increase).

Generally no investment strategy is guarantee to make our investment successful but it is good that we put in some good investments practices which i see is the general point of our conversations in light of all that we have been discussing here, and that is the reason why any investor should only follow up his or her investment within his or her general circumstances and goals and not just as a must of doing what others are doing, all approaches must be tailor down to suit you as investors while hoping for the better future, we have to prepare for the worst that may or may not happen. You are apparently making use of the term dip or waiting for the dip in the most inappropriate way, perhaps in my readings of your expression there is no relationship in other of your expression that is in alignment with such assertion of saying that an investor that doesn't have self discipline can never never be patient enough to wait till when the dip will finally happen, investors are not encourage to wait for dip but rather they are encourage to buy Bitcoin at anytime with the DCA provided that there is discretionary income made available for investment. The dip can only be advantageous to investor to buy more Bitcoin in lesser amount if they make preparations for it even in their ongoing Dcaing because waiting for it can be as an investor can make you to miss buying opportunities.

Firstly, the strategy one adopts in bitcoin investment matters a lot, and also, how much an investor uses in investing matters. understand that the strategy one adopts helps one to stay patient for the long term and to invest in a manner that suites his income. the amount one invests is what also determines how profitable one will be, relative to whatever the price of bitcoin ends up getting to at the time the investor might have reached his investment goal. To make it simple, the variables that make up a successful investment parameter, if taken in order of importance, can even follow the order of How much one invest, the strategy one uses in investing and how long one invests (which is a function of the patience of the investor you are talking of). If you are just being patient with an $100 or $500 worth of bitcoin, will you be as successful as another that considers that the amount he invests matters also and works on using the best investment method that will lead to a more robust portfolio? If you don't use a method that allows you to make proper provision for an emergency fund, when issues come up, your investment might be endangered. Being patient with one's investment is certainly good, but it takes more than that to be a successful Bitcoin investor.

This guy is a visionary. Seriously, I admire him. Back in 2011 when BTC was around nothing a, he was preaching the gospel that most people couldn't see. The same for us now in this seas of uncertainties, we need to keep grinding until we find our gold mind.
