You are correct in pointing out that Bitcoin is unique among the altcoins considering long term security and decentralisation. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency and I believe that anyone new in the cryptospace should start their bitcoin investment and focus on building their portfolio for the future and nothing more. I don't agree with you that there's anything like top shitcoins because they are all created for short term purpose. If you go and foolishly buy any shitcoin and feel that you are investing and keep holding for a long period of time, you will regret all through the rest of your life because your portfolio will depreciate overtime. Bitcoin is the opposite of shitcoin and don't feel that they're the same.

Bitcoin is limited in supply, censorship resistance, and beyond institutional control which give it more value and it's an asset that's a hedge to inflation because it's a store of value in the long run. This is why you see that more people are adopting it to save their funds from inflation due to the slowly debasement of dollar. Unserious people chase shitcoins because they prefer to gamble with their time, resources and energy.

I totally disagree with what you just said about some newbies understanding bitcoin investment more better than older members of this forum. With this statement you are trying to undermine the wealth of information that is actually being shared in the forum. There is no doubt that some newbies may have knowledge about bitcoin investment before joining the forum but I believe they are here because they seek more knowledge and to learn from the older members in the forum.

Well if you think so them you might abe wrong, because peoples knowledge about Bitcoin can not be judged by their registration date on forum, because you seams to see older member of this forum as people who are more knowledgeable than a newbie with registration of less than a year. I will like to inform you that not all newbie with registration less than a year are newbies. Some members here with newbie account may either be Bitcoin maxi , Bitcoin technical person or long term investors but didn't know much about forum like this. But it doesn't mean that they don't know about Bitcoin like people here. Or can't be compeard with old members here. Some old members here are even dump in Bitcoin when I come across their post. I will like you to also know that some newbie could also be old members of this forum who where once a Sr or hero member who where once ban for their mistake or crime they comited and they decide to start afresh with a new account and they might be mistaken for newbie. Bitcoin has a lot of capabilities that makes it very much different from every other investments like stocks, bonds and real estate and one of them is the fact that it has limited supply which  you referenced to.

If we had been tired of loosing trust on investments on digital currency or anything that has to do with online technology, then bitcoin is a changer of them all, because we are going to always appreciate the opportunity in it and cant afford on missing out, it is evident from  others experience in using bitcoin for their finical circumstance, it also serves as an alternative to the use of fiat, if we really want to be profitable in bitcoin, then we have to learn and know how it works, because this is not like the way we have been seeing the ponzi schemes appear and scam others.

You can't predict the market and you dont have to wait for bitcoin to drop to a particular price before buying Bitcoin. You can always buy Bitcoin so far as you are opportune to buy and if the market drop to the price that you have been anticipating for, then it is an opportunity to buy more Bitcoin.

As an Investor you have no business with predicting the price of Bitcoin because that's typically the hand work of traders and it is not easy to predict the price of Bitcoin because it is a volatile asset. Anyone who calls himself or herself an investor and is predicting the price of Bitcoin is really wasting time and this person will either sell before time or panic. To save one from the trauma that comes after predicting Bitcoin and didn't work, the person should accumulate Bitcoin and hold for a long term and stop wasting time and giving himself false hope as what they are predicting is not certain.
