If you will only allot your extra money for gambling, then, you will really enjoy the games. But if you are playing from a loan, then guess what? Don't think you are playing for fun here but hoping that you will get your money back + winnings. If you, a non-professional gambler, even think of gambling as a business, then this will never be fun at all. As a non-professional gambler, gambling can't be of any kind of a business method as you can't make it part as your source for income, cause gambling relies too much in luck, and depending on your game, experience can put you a bit of an advantage from other players.

You could only refer to this gambling as a business method, is when you're a professional poker player or any card games. But that field really requires a lot of discipline and skills, to begin with. Since not everyone of us just grow to a professional gambler directly, then it's wrong not to think gambling as a business. Even though you are experienced and skilled, I doubt that it is not fun for them. Professional gamblers even lose a lot of money because of gambling, they are already pros, take note of that. As long as they are gambling, they can lose, professional or not and they still see it as an exciting game. They can take losses, and they are ready for that.

It's a consolation, we want to win money but when we lose our hope of winning and money we just have to console ourselves that at least we have some fun, it's a disguise and alibi to keep on playing and betting, you justify your gambling activity and your losses, I'm using this alibi I'm sure many of us do.

We can also say that most of these people, that voted yes are in that idea that they are gambling for fun but we might not kniw if they really are since it might be their way of thinking that they are having fun or it is just an entertainment but for the other people, these people are already addicted.

I do think of gambling as entertainment. But if I'm continue to experience defeat becomes really unpleasant, so even
though we use money that we can afford to lose to play gambling, we will still feel annoyed if we lose that money.

I think the question is posed from a gambler's point of view. It is not asked from the point of view of a casino owner or worker. What is gambling for someone who is just a dealer in a casino and who doesn't gamble himself? It is nothing.

Anyway, for me gambling is entertainment but not purely that. Gambling is also trying to make money but with the thought that it will 90% end up losing. But you cannot erase the goal of making money.

Yes, gambling is for entertainment and not for making money because that will be a problem for people trying to make money from gambling. We know that many people are losing their money from gambling. Even if they are trying hard to win the games, they still lose at the end of the games.

If they can think about how much money they lose in 1 year, that can make them feel shocked because that money will be big money that can make them regret losing at just a gambling table. If they can use gambling for entertainment, they will think twice to spend much money on gambling because they will limit their money to playing gambling.

Opinion base arguments, for sure there are lots of differences between every people  who take this activities. Its a self explanatory answered  and based from own experiences, we will all agree  that  the  purpose  of gambling  is the chance  to win  and grow your money even  those who are just having fun and enjoying  deep in their minds they also wants to win it's adding additional  excitement.

I agree with the statement that those people usually playing are in urgent need of help.
Briefly, anyone think that he can do gambling as a kind of fun/entertainment but by time goes it becomes a behavioral addiction that can't be stopped like it were started. In psychology, there is a dedicated field of this kind of addiction and treated as a psychological desease .
