I don't understand why they always keep on saying that. Wherein their main goal before they even start gambling, deep inside them what they want is to win or to make money. It is just gamblers might be convincing themselves that they gamble only for entertainment once they lose in their gambling.

Gambling is an entertainment for many it could a profession to the pro’s (skillbased). Personally I don’t gamble a lot in online Casinos because I experience the feeling of losing big amount. Its hard if you attach Casino in your life even if you are financially stable you probably might get a serious problem financially that you might not notice.

The chance on winning on casino is lower unlike on sports betting on where you can determine the outcome based on the team that will be playing although the odds are different from time to time. Honestly I would prefer sports betting rather than casino but in casino you can earn and lose in a matter of seconds.

That means most of them are only playing for fun, while those who voted for no, including me is here to enjoy and at the same time trying to win money from gambling sites. My principle is very simple, winning is fun, while losing is not, therefore it should not be an entertainment but an investment as you aim to grow your money, if you think it as an entertainment, you are just enjoying it and moving on as you lose.

I do think of gambling as entertainment. But if I'm continue to experience defeat becomes really unpleasant, so even
though we use money that we can afford to lose to play gambling, we will still feel annoyed if we lose that money.

That is because sports betting is one of what we call skill based gambling. Casino games might be usually based on luck like roulettes that can make you lose in a second but it could happen in both ways, also there are some card games in there are also skill based like poker and blackjack although I agree to that; I prefer sports betting too as it lessen your chance of losing and increase your probability of winning.

Those are nice words to read, I hope everyone had experience that as a gambler, unfortunately, still most of us are losing in sports betting, any kind of game and in fact sports betting is the most profitable betting in the gambling world.

When you buy a delicious meal or a movie ticket, you also lose money. But it is obvious that in each case you get something in return. In the case of gambling, these are emotions plus some kind of hope that you will become very rich. People are willing to pay money for it.

But from the perspective of the owner, it's a business where he creates a huge amount of money because of entertainment. Gambling has different angles, for the person who runs the company, its a business, for the people who have lots of money they spend time here to relax, for the people who work there for example a casino its a job, and for some, its a source of income, these are the pro players, if you are asking me if I need money I look at it as business or a job, but then again it depends on your status

I think the question is posed from a gambler's point of view. It is not asked from the point of view of a casino owner or worker. What is gambling for someone who is just a dealer in a casino and who doesn't gamble himself? It is nothing.

Anyway, for me gambling is entertainment but not purely that. Gambling is also trying to make money but with the thought that it will 90% end up losing. But you cannot erase the goal of making money.

It depends on the aspect you look from. I think gambling is an entertainment. In my opinion, the reason is its being exciting. Especially sports betting is very exciting and I sometimes like to bet on football matches and see whether I will win or not.

I'm quite confused about which one is more lethal when it comes to gambling addiction. Is considering it as entertainment more lethal or making it profession more?

I've read that people who take it as profession end up losing everything in long run if they can't manage the temptation. At the same time, there are gamblers who gamble for winning money and stop when they reach their winning goal.

Whereas, people considering it as an entertainment will never really stop gambling because they know it's not a source of income, rather, an entertainment. But these people since will never stop gambling, makes losses for lifetime.

For me, personally, gambling is entertainment, it's not away of making money because it's a way to escape reality and boring, exhausting daily routines and since it's entertainment, should do it in a limited manner.

It all depends on the amount of loss and other life factors such loss of money borrowed or something like that.  Since the probability of losing in any one session is higher as compared to winning, there is much need for control at the start and keeping a fun mindset before it slides down to a certain point - at which I stop.

life is a choice as well as what risks we want to take.  you will continue to experience losses if you have made gambling a job (not as a gambling business owner but as a player).  control yourself, make gambling only priority number 100 and as entertainment only, so you don't get other problems such as piling up debt or separating from family..

I respect your confidence level, this is what we should need. However, betting could be a type of making addition money and entertainment either way. I do trust it relies upon individuals how their life goes through, if you deal gambling as source of an entertainment it's OK or do gamble for making money both thongs are related.
