Poloniex will become great again!

i hope this is right, i have a good memories with poloniex after lisk ICO ended
if i'm not wrong at the beginning lisk trade on this exchange and in that time poloniex was a great crypto exchange after bittrex
but now this exchange sink,,

Adding some shitcoins is not a good move for such a reputable exchange. I wish them to steak with good projects only, that can hold the trust longer, instead of opening new trades, improve security, improve transparency, remove KYC on at least minimize. Also, develop marketing plans, spend on it to regain a top place. See how other top exchanges are working, follow them, be better than them. That's how Polonix can go ahead.

Years ago, Poloniex was the biggest crypto exchange, especially when we mentioned about margin tradings. Since the middle of 2017, Poloniex fell behind Bittrex due to their bad supports for customers, and KYC verification to increase daily withdrawal limits, or maybe some other reasons were not disclosed publicly. After that, Bittrex took over by Binance, that has still remained the biggest exchange so far, and Poloniex fell further behind them.

Fortunately, things likely improved with Circle partnerships. During recent months, lots of things improved on Poloniex, graphic designs, customer supports, and recent days, we have had more coins added to Poloniex's Margin Trading Market. For years, Poloniex maintained its marginal tradeable coins with very limited, and old coins. So, I think it is a big change of their strategies.
It is too soon to say anything, but I am a big fan of Poloniex, and, of course I hope them will come back, to the top exchanges, from this year to 2021.

In recent days IEO seems to major footstep in the launch of new tokens. Users were also much focused on these, and trying to invest as the listing is already done on the exchange which lets them to make trade of the assets within few days time than waiting for longer time period. Poloniex will get added user community if it implements IEO launchpad. It isn't gonna make anything big than Binance which have acquired a big market.

They have upgraded their platforms, and improved customers' experience gradually. Maybe, within several weeks, we don't see their changes, but looking back at early of 2018, at the moment, there are some new features activated on the Poloniex site. Someone still complained that Poloniex has boring graphic design, I don't agree with this opinion. Simplicity is good, not bad, and it seems that Poloniex team determinantly maintained its core ideas to keep their site's graphic designs as simple as possible. Simple does not mean that it is amateur.

I will be very happy to see this happen again.
Poliniex is a legit exchange and it was one of the most popular in the past, of course before Binance.
They have the funding so I think they can be great again, by getting more aggressive with the marketing, and constantly listing new project,
that would help for their volume to increase.

Maybe what people look is new things that listed on them. Just in case they still must really strict to pick which token that can listed. Even new token can attract trader, Poloniex reputation must always be good.

When they (Poloniex) have more funds from their coorporation with Circle, and they use those funds wisely to improve their platforms, and run effective promotions. Their site will become bigger for sure. Promotions always have amazingly fast effects in crypto. I don't mention about experienced traders and investors, whom tend to care more about security and reliability of platforms they have intention to use. Most of traders and investors only or mostly care about free money and giveaways they can get from crypto exchanges. If an exchange run their promotions, with giveways for new registered users, and even their current ones, lot of people will join. For a legit exchange, like Poloniex, of course people have more strong reasons to join.

They can’t get bigger than Binance, even if they have not scammed in anyway, but they already have a bad reputation of a failed project before, just like what is hunting Facebook now, after stopping their Facebook credit in the past, and know coming up with another crypto project again which people are still referring to their past failure.

Poloniex still need to do very big work in winning the interest if users and assuring them that they will not pack their bag again the second time to leave the market, and while trying to do this, Binance will keep coming up with strategies that will make them o continue staying a leader to them all.

What people care about is service, promotions, and kinds of other benefits they can get from exchanges they use. I don't deny that fact that past reputation and current total volume on exchanges are determinant factors that significant affect choices of investors or traders when they have to choose between exchanges. For whales, or experienced investors and traders, they care more about security and reputation of exchanges. In contrast, small traders or investors tend to prefer exchanges that can give them short term benefits through give aways, promotions, ref rewards and so on. Poloniex is a US. based exchange, so it has to obey strict rules in that nation. However generally I don't think Poloniex actually has bad reputation.

This is the warning from Margin tab on Poloniex for BTS collateral usage. I have not used my BTS as collateral on Poloniex for margin tradings for too long. Do you know that how long BTS has not been accepted as collateral mean on Poloniex? Today, BTS has about 33 BTC traded on the exchange last twenty four hours, so it maybe the issue (temporary, I hope). If this situation last for too long from now, I think someday Poloniex might exclude Bitshares (BTS) from its marginable coins.

i have from this market since the beginning, speculations are aside, when i used this market, i had so many problems, like they did not pay my money for 17 days, they did not complete my transactions till a cyrpto currency's price got low. etc.

Many people also make this complained of withdrawals stuck for days but I seriously think that thing has actually change and since I have been trading with poloniex I have never have such problem.  However,  it seems the trading volumes has reduce and some traders has moved to some other platforms that are more user friendly.  I am happy that poloniex has learned something and have decided to improve there platforms for a better trading experience.  I will keep on following them in other to see how things improve in future.

And they haven't changed much even as compared to other exchanges. They still are using the same old approach. Bittrex on the other hand is keeping up with newer exchanges Poloniex is just losing users and volume. There are just a few coins I don't find anywhere else in a legit exchange that makes me revisit the exchange. They are turning into cryptopia.

That is the funny thing about the old exchanges like Poloniex. They look 100% the same as today as they looked like 2 years ago when I first tried them. Now if you log into Poloniex nothing has changed. The same loan margins,,, the same order books, but the thing that has changed? The volumes are so low. There is zero demand any more for their loan margins. At least Bittrex keeps upgrading and improving.

Look 100% the same, are you serious? If you don't see their changes, small or big, you should log in your accounts, and read their announcements last few months to see which changes / improvements they did. They tend to focus more on security of their platform, rather than focus on promotions and common trend of Chinese or Korean exchanges. In my perspective, security will show its powerful, and when that day come, Poloniex will take that chance to become fastly great again.

I think it's rather too late. I actually expected the acquisition of the exchange by circleX to expedite the revolution of the poloniez exchange but so far, not much has been done and I think they my slide lower down the pecking order if not careful.

I can also see that they have really improved in their services and I am really impressed about the trade volume they are gradually getting, the market is full of intelligent people now, so there is need for everyone that wishes to remain in the exchange business to really step up in their business games.

It is more or less like survival if the fittest and that is why competition is good, everyone will keep bringing different great futures and strategies that will make them stand out which will in turn be of great benefits to users that clamors for perfection in their trades and transactions.

basically poloniex became one of the big exchanges that exist today. Poloniex is supposed to dominate the market and provide the best service for now. poloniex can be a guideline for lots of tokens to be in the best position. so poloniex has to get back good and get the best back.

they needed to step forward in order to stay in the business, the competitions against those new exchange is really tough, so bringing something up in order to survive and continue to compete with positioning is really a good move for polo, they have it before and it will not be  hard for them to keep the market move for them and bring traders and investors back to their interest.
