I don't think Poloniex will be great again based on new site features. They are all good but people remember the lousy customer support they had. They wouldn't come back from that hurt. The best Poloniex can do is have more engagement with the trading community, that's what Binance and Bitmex did.

I generally think that Poloniex will not exist in 10 years. I do not think that this exchange is worthy of our trust. when large investors bought it, I stopped trusting this exchange

If I remembered exactly, they just long delayed supported their customers in the past, before surpassed by Bittrex, and Binance, but the good things
is no customers got losses from Poloniex, right? I did not see complaint that someone got money losses due to bad supports from Poloniex. Some months in blossom of crypto in 2017, lags on Poloniex were big issues, but after that they all solved.

Manipulators exist on all exchanges, not only on Poloniex, so what is your point here? What's the problem because Poloniext got investments from Circle?

Well, even if it comes back with a very good appearance and enthusiastic support, people still don't continue to accept or participate in this exchange because you are right, people have had a bad time with it, the support team is very slow and does not meet all customer requirements. Especially, this exchange always has delays and rejects customers' transactions when pumps and growth waves appear, greatly affecting the benefits, many complaints and without a reasonable answer, the return of poloniex is too late, prestige has fallen too seriously.

I agreed that in the past, supports of Poloniex team were too slow, but after partnership with Circle, I saw their supports very fastly, and good, in my opinion. For delays and rejects transactions of customers, are you serious? They made mistakes with their strategies (customers supports and KYC verification process), but they changed and I think they can get benefits from their strategy changes. I could be wrong, but Poloniex, in reality has its solid position in crypto. Sometimes ups, some times downs in ranking position for crypto exchanges, but Poloniex has still been a good exchange.

Strange, but for some reason I did not notice that Poloniex really turns out to be used, so I think that this is just a topic that today is probably used to support the reputation of the Poloniex project. I think it’s really possible to use Binance

They lost there old users and those wont come back any time soon. Maybe they can gain some interest with the new comers but it will take more then coin listings and margin trading to get the confidence back.

It may be true as i am not active on polonkex anymore but i do feel that they are quite late now i mean they were one of the top exchange just couple of years back but they just could not capitalize on their success and built some bigger platform rather they act lazily on each issue and were left far behind in exchanges race and now we have a whole new lot of bigger and better exchanges.

Poloniex has always been one of my favorite exchanges. It always seemed reliable to me, even though I did not know who the owners were. I say, trustworthy when comparable to other exchanges.

This purchase by Circle really raised their level. Today I trust they have sufficient liquidity and security.

Poloniex if I most say is a good exchange with a good team, but one thing they lack which is very important is a user friendly, one thing as developer to consider before building any project is the users of that project.

You need to check how easy it would be for them to make use of the platform, a developer should first see himself as a newbie or call newbies to ask them what kind of platform they need, because once you are not able to create a user friendly platform, you cannot get mass adoption due to competition.

Are they tend to become home for abandoned coins like BCHSV or preparing for any IEOs?
Personally, i don't vy for old and experienced exchanges resorting to IEOs as a redemption to their probably "failed" mission. As an exchange, you should compete with others and gain the trust of crypto community other than trying to use pump and dumps as a last resort. You'll end up at the bottom at the end. IEOs haven't proven any "meaningful" better situations other than ICOs/STOs...you can check up on them. They're still catalysing the old pumo and dump issues of ICOs

IEOs or not, it does not essential things to help Poloniex to return. Their customer support has changed to be good recent months, very fast. The reasons fro them now are: to attract flow of money from traders to their exchange. At the moment, no one one to rejoin low volume exchange. To get it, they have  to do at least two things: building up their trust , and giving aways more type of passive income to their users, like from staking assert on exchange. However, I believe in Poloniex, like US and China. China grown fast, but more vulnerable to collapse

Okay? Is Poloniex don't have plan to delist BCHSV like what the others did? I think they should reconsider the option and make a move or else they stall on their place and if they think many still buy BCHSV then they're just keeping a trash.

Btw, margin trading isn't new and wouldn't help Polo in any way.
But, the reason is Poloniex is one of the oldest, and most reputable exchange,

Do not go there. You cannot reason out something just because they are old.
Reputable? Hmmm I doubt that. They had so many big problems that was not completely disclosed.
Here in bitcoin forum a lot of users are mad in their threads about Poloniex which is just ignoring them.

Customer service is important. A lot of problems may happen on the road and keeping their customer on track should be mandatory.
I bet they have already made some money with all those stolen funds.

I don't think they will.
They adapt the policy to require user identification, to be able trading on their exchange.
this one is not gone increase their users base.
yes, it's make new user not welcome to poloniex when identification required. but they make a rules for safety.
when poloniex make a inovation next and friendly for trader what ever identify require can make new user welcome and trading to polo will be safe and not affraid they wallet hacked.

I was a long user of Poloniex and there was nothing that bad with the exchange, Bittrex and Binance just elevated the level of exchanges. Being a new generation exchange, they were catchy in eyes, quick with support and lower in fees. While poloniex was stuck with outdated GUI and higher fees for everything. After seeing this topic, I revisited Poloniex and still the same GUI and a taker fees of 0.2%. Who in the world would pay 0.2% these days?

I remember those days, the exchange was the standard of crypto traders, everyone looked up to it. But time goes on and the number of trading platforms is growing. Don't think Poloniex be able to return its status of the most popularnoj exchange.

At least they have changed, I don't say those changes, by now are significant enough to bring them back soon. In my opinion, they should do more, and even they do more things to revise their mistakes in 2017 and 2018, it will takes long period for them to catch eyes of traders before really attracting money from them. It is a step-by-step recovery, and I don't expect them can come back in months. Maybe it takes 2 or three years for Poloniex to come back before can be able to beat Binance. Giants can make mistakes, like Microsoft, Nokia, or even recent months Apple, and small ones can become bigger then beat giants to become new giants. At least, Poloniex don't have to restart from zero, at least they have still been a medium exchange.

in a cutthroat competition when things are so close and everyone is hard at work to push the others (the competition) out of the game and take their place, when you lose your place it is over. taking it back is near impossible and based on what i have been seeing Poloniex is constantly losing its position when you look at their volume and the fact that they have increasingly made it difficult for people to use their platform with all their rules, KYC, AML,... and basically verification. i don't see them coming back ever again to become half great.
