Etheredelta Which one is genuine ??

Etherdelta for me is a wobble exchange. Had a first experience using it sometimes last year. One, too much of bugging issues which i think Is responsible for it's slowness. Second,  the exchange has often been reported to have suffered from hackers attacks and the likes. It's best there to stay away from it

basically http://etherdelta.com was the original one in the past, but as a result of something I don't remember what they made dex again, that's forkdelta.app the word fork it might be a result of the Dex change, but for now the volume forkdelta.app is better from etherdelta and etherdelta now also often experience errors on the orderbook so it's better to use forkdelta

Both are genuine because both are diffrent decentralized exchanges. They have only same UI but totally diffrent servers.

Indeed dude as i have used both of that exchange and luckily experienced no issues at all maybe beause i only exchanged small amount so i might not become a target of scams or something bad

Bookmark them to prevent the phishing attack.  

Thats the best way for every one of us who use same sites over and over

Due to the subpoena that already sent by SEC and it looks like etherdelta gets frozen and all of operations already moved to the alternative ethereum dex like forkdelta. Both are having the same hot wallet and I guess that was the same like etherdelta

I think the security issue is valid on both sides. But forkdelta's daily volume is higher. Therefore, I usually use FD.

I stopped using both when they got hacked from which I just managed to escape but for useless tokens that get listed nowhere, I use forkdelta and if you have metamask, it prevents you from using the phishing link. Don't store your tokens there still as they were already hacked before.

Etherdelta and Forkdelta the same and in my opinion both are safe to use, always bookmark the link and keep your private key safe. And one more don't export your main wallet, create new for trade.

If I remember right, etherdelta was the original dex but then it was sold, and ran into some problems. Then forkdelta came out to replace etherdelta. I stopped using it since then because I fear that I'll lose my money.

I can't remember anytime I've traded on etherdelta because its a shit exchange to me, no serious project have ever list their coin there officially and all the tokens I have that are not listed but are tradeable on Dex like etherdelta and forkdelta are just there lying in my wallet. None of the two Dex is genuine. Trade on centralized exchange

Honestly, after losing my balances there, I never used etheredelta again. I have learned my lesson but I'm not saying that the same thing would happen to everyone but I'm just basing things on my own experience. They say it's safe but I doubt it because it's also hackable. If I were you, I would choose another exchange which is on top of the list.

It's safe trading in a decentralized exchange. It's advisable you use Imtoken( available in chromes extension, needs small file download) to interact with the decentralized. Alternatively, you can still use Keystore, which way you need to de-encrypt the wallet with your password. I don't like using my Private key in trading.

Etherdelta is very safe to use, have been using Etherdelta for the past 2 years and the exchange is very legit and 100% scam free. You can proceed and trade your coin in the exchange, you are very safe.

I might consider to use centralized exchange as I am going to risk just a particular cryptocurrency.

You can still "just risk a particular" cryptocurrency in a decentralized exchange.  All you need to do is transfer your token to a newly created address that will be used in trading in DEX.  It is a bit more complicated but you can even designate different address (account) for every token you wanted to trade in DEX, much better than a centralized exchange where you use only one account for all your cryptocurrency you wanted to trade on that exchange.

I don't think Etherdelta is still operating but forkdelta is doing and I have used it so many times to sell some tokens. Forkdelta also have the same interface with forkdelta and it is very easy to use. If you have never used it before, you will see guidelines on the site on how to do so.

Etheredelta is still stable but the problem with decentralized exchange is that the amount you sell you token or coin is determine by the buyers since is a p2p network and even if your token is not listed on exchange you can sale it on the exchange since it a decentralized exchange.

Forkdelta is a form from etherdelta.. and they're both legit exchanges... what you're seeing is just an error from coinmarket cap .. you can simply report this bug to their support team an they'll have it fixed

Etherdelta is a genuine exchange, I've personally used the exchange severally without having any issues. Some persons are scared of giving away their private keys to gain access to the exchange, it's understandable. But my advice is that you have one wallet set aside for decentralized exchange transactions and only transfer tokens that you have intension of trading in the wallet. It saves you the risk of exposing all your tokens to the decentralised exchange. I've personally employed this technique and I ensure that I don't keep substantial amounts on the wallet. Only the eth that I need for gas is left in the wallet.

Etherdelta is toxic. They made people loss money, they did a scam ico and get millions of dollars. They are crazcy shady. Forkdelta also has more orders on order sheet.
