I can't say anything over biggest crime, but I can talk about criminals. It's disgusting when we get scammed right?
At times when it's not just the scammer's fault and we're equally responsible for not putting extra efforts to understand things completely before keeping our money at an exchange or even a wallet (we call them secure and then fall for the same). So, instead of just blaming the scam participants, we should also consider ourselves being responsible for becoming a victim. I know and totally understand that sometimes we may go unlucky while having our funds intentionally for profits over an exchange, but what if you've kept your money over these exchanges for no reason (like no trading and just kept it there thinking that you've stored it at a safe place). I know what will be coming to me - higher fees, right? Well, if you've been trading enough you shouldn't be bothered withdrawing at least once a week or just take 50% withdrawn after you double your coins there (this one's for specific category traders who can actually turn it into fortunes for them).

The biggest crime is a scam projects like ICOs who just want peoples money and run away after. Hacking is bad but you can prevent it by getting all of precautions and securing all of your personal datas. But when a fake ICO launches, you trust it even giving your KYC then all is history. Hacking  is isolated but scam is your personal choice.

I didn’t know syndicate already using crypto for this kind of illegal trafficking. Many crimes can be form in cryptocurrency and that’s also why government are afraid to regulate it. I think crypto has no fault of it, if any exchange getting hacked, the fault of private centralized institutions hijacked, who are not doing their work with properly and that's why the hacking causes are on highlight . Crypto is currency and we use it for trade or investment, it is not crime.

you're right, where there's a chance to do it, there must be lots of people who will do that. on the internet, I think it's very difficult to open one's identity, especially in the crypto world. well, because of that, many crimes have occurred, especially in cases of fraud.

What could be the biggest Crime in cryptocurrency

I have never heard anything happen to myetherwallet and it was Etherdelta that was hacked. Also, phishing emails were sent to almost all bitcointalk users as the email database was leaked during a hack earlier. Hence, most users were affected but those that did not click on suspicious links had their wallets safe.

Edit: Checked it now and there was a hack in the extension of MEW. Glad I did not access MEW during the hack.

Actually for me i really don’t consider those hacking to be legit because it seems to be theres a inside job happens on those so we cannot tell it a hack
But since theres no evidence on the process the case will remain hack in nothing can changed that

Its very disturbing and alarming to wake up only find out that millions and billions of dollars have been lost for good, whom are you going to ask or blame. This is what makes people scared and feel reluctant to join due to the fear of unknown. For me I think the biggest crime is yet to come so lets all watch out in order not to be victims.
