So now ... I'm revisiting this thread and I'm glad I created this topic.. I still believe we'll see btc over 15k by the end of this year..in fact I think 20k is possible

A good prediction dude, if many of you buy when this thread is made, of course your profits must have been very large
we almost touched $9k, maybe it will be realized in the next few days. Actually $15k is not difficult if the market is still bullish for long time

Those who were still waiting for bitcoin to dump to $4800 as at the time the op created this topic will be so disappointed by now, because we have moved very far from that value becoming a reality, and before we can get that again is maybe when the next bull run peaks and people are beginning to dump their coin, thereby leading us to bear market again for the cycle to restart, then they can get the opportunity to buy at that price.

Well, I think I would not say it is still too late for them to buy, they have already missed out of 4k trend, then can still buy in this trend since it is like we cross past that $15k by end of the month.

$15k in the end of the month? Its possible but wont happen soon.Breaking 10k price would be the hardest part and would take sometime.

Missing out the train and for those people who do wait for those dip price  are really frustrated and now the price had bloated.I doubt that they wont
easily convinced themselves on buying into this current price.

It seems you almost get on that way mate because now bitcoin started to rise and I guess 15,00 usd is quite low for this year. I think it will exceed from what it reach way back year2017 that may reach $30,000 before the end of this year. And I have strong about that.

honestly, i disagree with your opinion, current market situation are not bullish, the bull still not coming yet. get used with this uprise, if you pay your attention from the middle of 2018 its normal price. market are seems to correct its price before the bull comes. my advise is to prepare yourself from now, because the bull run will comes in the end of 2019 until the beginning of 2020.

So how much should the price rise?

Till you consider it a bull market? Should we just achieve a new ATH or twice the last ATH maybe? If anything, we have been rising starting at a little above 3k and went as high as 9k (Bitfinex prices), which is a little short of 3 times. So if this is not a bull market in your opinion, then what is it really? As the saying goes, sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof (read, we shouldn't ask for too much)

Bull run mostly refers to how fast prices are rising. And the last price action when Bitcoin surged from lower 4k's all the way to 9k and all within some weeks can be arguably considered a state of the art bull run, or even a classic one

If you forget 2017's bull run then everything will be interesting what is happening now! Because that was like a bubble bull run! But right now the real bull run may happen! I don't want sudden huge pump anymore, all I want to see bitcoin's stability at least at 12K USD! So, I am here to agree with you that we are gonna see a bull run this year!

i totallly agree with you that bull run has already started.  And 15,000$ before the end of year is low the true and never ending bull run will happen on the fourt quarter of the year. Im seeing 50,000$ price per bitcoin.

if we can compare the market price movements in 2017 it is clearly very different from now, but if we see the fall in market prices in 2018 yesterday, even so far the market price movements have gradually changed to become better than before. and the current market price movement can be said to be still in the recovery phase to be able to increase its value again

While I would like to see a stable growth myself the truth is that the volatility of bitcoin is so big that it is almost impossible to see that kind of growth, and you just have to look at the current market to know that is true, the price more than doubled in just a few months and this is something that you must take into account when devising your strategy otherwise whatever strategy that you may create in order to profit from this market is not going to be as effective as it could.

$15000 seems difficult for bitcoin to reach this year, but it still possible if there are breakthrough moment that will pump the price of bitcoin, i think bitcoin price will not pass $11000 until early december 2019. i hope you can make profit from this tiny range, take many chance from this gold oppprtunity. but dont spend all of your portofolio to jump in one basket, make another basket for your crtptocurrency investment, so you can minimize the risk and avoid from total lost.

Sometime i think about that too. In 2017, when bitcoin pumped very high, maybe a lot of people already inside it and in future, is there are people who still have trust with bitcoin and still make investment in it.
