Binance operates its licence in Malta. So why should that affect it? With its innovation and security, I don't think Wright's whining will do it any harm. BTW, if push comes to shove the American customers might be asked to withdraw their patronage and that won't shake the exchange an inch. Binance is a strong viable exchange. I don't have any worries about them.

You are underestimating the power of the US. They caught the CEO of btc-e.com in Greece and shut down btc-e.com.

USA basically owns every .com domain out there. If you commit a crime while using a .com domain they can find and jail you no matter where you live.

Binance uses a .com domain. If they find out something fishy about them, USA can indeed shut binance down.
Exactly mate, nothing can hide from US as long as you are violating their laws they will hunt you down and will make you pay for your violation
I hope binance can make this things clear and prevent from accepting US citizen to enter their business as they are one of the most potentially among the exchanges now to have a bright future

Craig Wright will never stop to get revenge from delisting His coin from the binance platform

I believe Craig Wright alone can't do the miracle of shutting down Binance just like that.
A big exchange like Binance have their own legal team that will make sure that they are following protocols especially US laws and regulations.
With the continuous whining of Wright, it just shows how he turned out to be a laughing stock in the crypto community.
Are we expecting another drama from his end? When will he gonna stop all his media stunts?

Use them but don’t hold your bags with them: Opinion
Always remember this to all exchanges ans web wallets. Don't be so sure to keep most of your funds where you don't hold your private keys.  You should keep your coins somewhere that you also keep the private keys to have control on it.

The Fed has closed down exchanges in other jurisdictions in the past. Binance has US customers: This is a NO NO. Craig Wright is no fool and wants Binance out of the picture. Be aware! Maybe hell is coming to Binance: Use them but don’t hold your bags with them: Opinion

The fed should first give warnings before they can close it down, if there is a violation they should be fine, but not close at once, we are talking of big business here, it's not the way how it works, and besides, the violation is not that so serious for immediate closure, there should be hearing first.

I do have strong beliefs that Binace will not be affected and will not closed down. Not even I imagined that they will become weak for any issues. They had a good reputation and that wasn't easily build. I guess, there will be a solution with that American customer issues that Binance will take care of.

Anything can happen with any kind of stock exchange. No one from this is not insured. It's really possible to be a fake news. We must grow up and we must be safe and not keep all their savings on the same exchange or wallet. Just fold eggs in different baskets.

If The Fed ban Binance, its only for US Citizen and right now binance already operate in many country. I think we should not worry because crypto market or exchanger already regulated in several country like malta.

As already said, Binance has its HQ in Malta. It has to obey by the laws of the European Union. So, no problems there. I'm not a fan of Binance though. It is too big and at some point it could pose a problem to the entire crypto sphere, much like Mt Gox was in the past. I'm rooting for decentralized exchanges to replace these centralized monsters.
Yes, Binance really becomes some kind of crypto-monopoly giant. However, I think that it is impossible to just close such a giant.

Binance dosent have anything to do with US because they don’t operate from there and also they have there license. The team thought of this in time past and made all corrections to what could lead to this. Binance won’t shut down because of Craig and they are not doing or violating any rules so for now they won’t shut down.

I respect your opinion but I steongly disagree that the exchange itself will be taken down. Yes there are US customers but I think binance staff have think about this already and they are steps ahead already with this issue.

Binance can never be closed.
And you should watch your words and do some research before saying anything about any reputable sites or exchanges.
I mean many people's life rely on that exchange who choose trading as their main profession.
Also you need to understand when does a site closes or what are the circumstances that can led to the closing of a reputable site.
Hope you understand now.

I think Wright's is once again trying to influence the crypto market with some whining.
and I agree with you, bincane has been tested quite strongly in crypto trading. so I don't think it will have a big impact if what the OP says will happen

Just another sad action from Craig, it's totally not true and binance wil never get closed down imo. Binance base is not on USA and also with the current BNB price and big volume trading, binance will never get closed down, i even think binance will become more popular in the future.

I can't just imagine this information, if the Fed has closed exchanges in the past because of some legal reasons does not mean they will close binance because of Craig Wright. I know binance must have made some mistakes but that's not enough reasons

binance can never close down, binance is still the best exchange so far. i prefer binance more than any other exchange because i know my asset is save and secure.upcoming blockchains always love to get their coin listed on binance too but because of the fee most of them cant cope and they will list on cheap exchange an later the coin will become shit within a blink of eye. so binance is still the best so far and i so much love the exchange

Binance is more popular and trustful exchange nowadays. It is very doubtful what it can be closed. I believe there are a lot of good lawyers in Binance which watch out for exchange to works according all legal regulatory and have no problems in this field.

Of course, these are just rumors that are created to ordinary people, who understand little about how the market works, start to panic

I doubt there will be a disaster on cryptocurrency industry if this ever happens. Just imagine an exchange, a high performing exchange listed on top among the exchanges shuts down by the outside group, that would be problem for most of the trader having Binance as a main exchange. Perhaps, Securities and Exchange Commission could really come after the binance however there will be a great adjustment like time for all user withdrawal and some retail cryptocurrency brokerage firm will be affected like eToro and Bittreo since their spot pricing depends on binance. However, this matter will be in deep study by SEC and as i have said Binance is a great performing exchange compared to others under safe and legal standards and shutting it down will be a great loss for them also.
