You can always start your own wiki if you don't have permission to add to the Bitcoin Wiki.  I don't have an issue adding a casino list to it since they have no problem listing bitcoin exchanges.

And who is going to browse your wiki for the required information? Anyone can set up his own wiki with minimal effort and cost, and then add content to it. But attracting traffic is the most difficult point. Wikipedia is an already established site and it has tens of millions of visitors every day. That's why I say that setting up a thread here would be a better idea. This forum is also quite well established, and if we create a thread here then it can help a lot of the gamblers.

The problem with adding these sort of articles to Wikipedia is that since it is editable by anyone, scammers may delete the names of reputed gambling sites and then add the links to scam sites. And in the end, all this will have the opposite effect. People will lose their hard earned money after visiting these scam sites and the reputation of Wikipedia, cryptocurrency and online gambling as a whole will get tarnished. So I would strongly suggest using Google, rather than Wikipedia for this purpose.

Yes, its one of the probabilities too why it isn't really possible to make up some list thru Wikipedia.There are really some various reasons which

You know I own a little shop in our town. An internet cafe', even though so small still there are customers coming thru and most of them are students under at he age of 16. Almost all depends on the source of wikipedia for their research, what do you think will happened if those informations will be available for them. kids theses are explorative and want to try something new. With few bucks, and a smartphone they could gamble anytime and anywhere they want even at home instead of studying. Wikipedia should stay as it is I guess and should not be a tool of information that could lead to our futures' demise.

You have a good point actually but I don’t think that scammers would do that. These scammers are very smart and they know actions that can easily backfire.  Replacing genuine sites with scam site would surely get busted and people will give reviews on the sites and most of this scam sites try as much as they can to keep their records clean, so they might not like that at all.

I am just not in support of it because I feel it will bring too much attention to gambling and would expose minors to the game which would still tarnish the reputation of gambling more than it is  already. Many already have negative opinions against gambling, now having it on Wikipedia would make it worse.

I think the op is an avid user of wikipedia more than google and obviously he wants more precise information rather than scattered information that we can find after using a google search  .  yet to some people that are on the go , they basically use google for all the stuffs that they want to search of find    .

I'm no sure about this but I think there already are some websites that keep a history of all bitcoin casinos and they have it sorted based on currencies so it's pretty easy to find out those who accept bitcoin deposits. I don't know if a Wikipedia page is also required for that, maybe only for the purpose of promotion because mnay people know and visit that page.

Now, I'm not sure whether that would actually be allowed, since everybody can just edit those pages. Not sure if edits are reviewed before publishing them though.

Anyone that edits such information especially that of a gambling site is only doing it in his own risk because eventually they would still be exposed. I trust my fellow gamblers, once they notice that the site is scam, they would drop negative reviews and soon many people would discover, so I feel that that even the scam site would not want to do that.

My only challenge with having casino site on Wikipedia is that it will give too many people reasons to condemn it more. We already know that gambling has a bad reputation to many, and exposing it too much will give many reasons to want to have it banned because they would feel that a game that is destructive to the young ones would be bad to be on Wikipedia

Not sure gambling sites are willing to be involved in the wikipedia considering gambling is not much legal in the world, in fact many countries prohibit gambling which means if gambling sites are involved in Wikipedia, then maybe the site will be highlighted to be blocked. Gambling sites have increased over time and gained the trust of their customers and it has made many gambling sites more famous and trusted in this industry. So, without putting it on wikipedia I believe gambling sites can increase by the many of gamblers in the world.

Wikipedia is not a place to encourage people or to use as promotion. only great things can get a place there. for example, the MtGox Exchange which crashed in 2013 is on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mt._Gox and for casinos like the famous Satoshi Dice are on the separate wiki called bitcoin wiki: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Satoshi_Dice.

I am not sure there is any Wikipedia page that is highlighting casinos that accept Bitcoin but yes Google has all the information and we can find out much material about gambling sites or casinos which use Bitcoin as payment method. As far I know, there are online gambling sites for example Prime dice that accept the Bitcoin. Keeping in mind, there are many unsafe sites as well so you should find a good one.

I have the feelings there are already gambling articles on Wikipedia, might not really be based on crypto casino gambling, there might have been promotions that have been done about gambling on Wikipedia and if this really affects kids that means over 50% of kids would be gambling by now.

The interest of the kids are not on gambling as majority of them are already aware that it is not suitable for less than 18years of age, so regardless of where information that concerns gambling is kept, it will not have any negative impact on our younger ones. This is only my opinion and am not saying that information should be be on Wikipedia.

thats also what im suspecting  . before when crypto/blockchain gambling is not yet born  , there were already online gambling site and most of them are card based like poker but crypto and blockchain based gambling should not be left behind  . its better that we recomend some to do the listing on the wikipedia page so that future generations will have a ready made reference  .
