Develop the habit of going to bed and waking up regularly, obey your nature, insist on going to bed at your habitual time, and establish a good biological clock. On weekends and holidays, avoid slept late. Sleeping more is not good for people. Sometimes you go to bed late because of things, and you should still get up on time in the morning to avoid disturbing the biological clock.

After lying on the bed, you can listen to a few light music and you will fall asleep slowly.

Do not eat too much before going to bed, so as not to cause indigestion and make it difficult to fall asleep. You can soak your feet or take a hot bath to promote blood circulation.

Keep your bedroom clean, quiet, away from noise and light. The temperature should be appropriate, the temperature is best to 18 ~ 20℃, try to do warm in winter and cool in summer. If the indoor air is too dry, the floor should be sprinkled, you can also use a humidifier. Keep your bedroom well ventilated and open the window to breathe before going to bed. Choose a piece of comfortable bed, the palm-stretched bed or the mattress of cork board with soft and hard moderate commonly is appropriate. Pillows should be moderate in softness.

Keep the bedroom dark. One hour before going to bed, dim the lights in the bedroom, and turn off all overhead lights, night lights and lamps when you go to bed. As long as there is any strong light (not just the light from the screen of an electronic device), it will make the body mistakenly think that it is still early and it is not time to sleep.

Before going to bed, you must be emotionally stable. Don't go to bed with problems. Put it aside for the time being. Don't think about it. If you have something to deal with the next day, close your eyes and fall asleep quietly. Take a deep breath and listen to slow-paced light music or songs to ease the chaotic mood with the rhythm of the music. Some people feel nervous about having poor sleep or insomnia for several days. They think that the brain cannot be rested, and it is not short-lived, but also get sick. This kind of worry leads to excessive anxiety. The more nervous, the more they want to forcibly fall asleep. The result was counterproductive.

how about doing some homework/reading books before sleep? every time I read/do homework for about 40m, I'll feel horribly exhausted and sleepy, then I enjoy a good sleep...
please don't tell this to my teacher, it might hurt her confidence. For many times, during the process of doing this, I fall asleep! when the next day I wake up finding out that my book is beneath my body and the pen is around my arm Sad

Do more physical exercises during the day to make the body feel tired. Drink a cup of hot milk before going to bed. Milk has a soothing effect.

This is vital of getting and feeling tired as this dozes off you to the sound sleep.  Hot milk could be another factor which could help you a bit to feel relaxed at the night and consuming can just help you to get the better sleep I had also recommended before of doing physical exercises as this will help you firstly to remain fit and also due to tiredness will have a good sleep. Another thing read something which you may not like so that you will feel sleep more quickly.

you can do some exercise before sleeping to make yourself tired. but for right before you sleep, about four hours before that. or listen to some genntle music when sleep. listen to the lyrics carefully and purposely try not to care about these things. You can also drink a cup of hot milk, soak your feet in warm water to relax your body and mind Smiley

Go to bed on time, generally not more than 11 o'clock at night, turn off the lights when you go to bed. For people who are prone to insomnia, they should only go to bed when they are drowsy. The result of going to bed early is often "have a lot of speed", which will only increase psychological pressure. If you can’t fall asleep for half an hour, it’s best not to fall asleep in bed, you don’t have to lie in bed secretly, don’t force yourself to fall asleep, get up to do something like reading or watching TV, read some relaxing books, listen to some soothing music, and wait for sleep Go to bed again when. Wait until the body temperature drops before going to bed.

In the few hours before going to bed, avoid things that are known to affect sleep, which include: alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, strict evening exercise, acidic foods that may cause stomach upset, heavy-tasting/high-fat/greasy foods, sweets or high-sugar snacks, spicy food.
In addition, be careful not to drink too much water or other liquids before going to bed. it makes you to wake up to the bathroom, which will also lower your sleep quality.

Guy said that the more people struggle to sleep, the more they can't fall asleep. This is one of the biggest problems with insomnia.

Therefore, Guy told the patients who came to see the doctor: Accept the fact that he can't sleep in the middle of the night.

Slowly, you will feel sleepy

When human sleeps, the body is in a state of low energy, and the body temperature is lower than normal. Conversely, the process of lowering body temperature from high will remind the body to turn into a low energy state, which will help to produce the feeling of sleeping (this is merely my understanding and needs to be corrected by professionals). Therefore, I recommend that take a hot bath wash your feet with hot water before sleep to warm up the body, and the process of gradually lowering body temperature will help you fall asleep. On the contrary, when you get up in the morning, it is suitable to wash with relatively cool water, which helps to clear your mind. Cheesy

It must feel bad to not sleep, but learn to relax.

Rather than let yourself struggle on the cusp of all kinds of worries, it is better to quietly relax and watch the changes.
