Advantages of engaging in quality contributions on the forum.

Greetings everyone, what i'll be highlighting in this thread isn't new to users known for their quality contribution on the forum and it's a matter of common sense in general but as always all humans aren't the same so there'll always be a forum members that will benefit from any created posts on the forum irrespective of how dumb other may think that post is. Having said those above, I'll llike to go straight to the point of this thread. I'll be highlighting some advantages associated with quality contributions on the forum. You're welcome to either correct me or add more contribution.
Below are the advantages;

[1]: Increases your knowledge on cryptocurrency: Engaging in quality contributions (posting) on the forum also increases your chances of educating yourself as unconsciously you begin to research more to improve the quality of your posts. When you see a discussion you have no idea about, a quality contributor immediately carryout some research so he/she gets an idea on what to say about the discussed topics which is also another way of learning. This also can be felt with matters relating to the forum. The moment you start engaging in those type of discussions, you immediately begin to get familiar with them. A typical example is engaging in trust related discussion, with this you will get to know the usefulness of custom trust list and  how the DT system works.

The #1 reason should be that you get to be a part of something awesome!

[2]: Increases your reputation on forum: Now when I say reputation here, I'm not taking about those trust feedbacks you can find on accounts but those unwritten feelings and respect you get from other members of the forum. A quality contributor irrespective of the board he/she makes must of his post gets the respect of the forum members in general and that can be felt when he tries applying for a position like merit source or starts a service thread on the forum.

[3]: Increases your chances of getting merited: How the merit system was designed to work is directly proportional to the level of your quality contribution to the forum is regards to postings. The better the quality of your post the more merits you'll recieve therefore a better way to increase your chances of recieving those merit is engaging in quality discussion on the forum. This is a popular known fact so I don't have to speak much about it.

[4]: Reduces your chances of getting banned due to spamming: Is no longer a news spamming is one of those habits the forum itself and her members frown at and it's also one of quick tickets to getting banned from participating on the forum. Engaging in quality posting definitely reflect on the way you handle your account as a quality poster will consciously obey all forum rules and regulations to avoid getting his/her account ban.

[5]: Improves your chances of getting accepted into quality campaigns. Well signatures are one of those discussion people have mix feelings about. Some are against while others are in support especially when it's done right. A quality poster has a better chance of getting accepted into a quality signature campaign that means if you have any desire to join those type of campaign to recieve this benefits, then you should start first by developing your account as a quality (on topic) poster. Which in return will give you the four advantages listed above and more advantage over your competitors in regards to applications to join campaign.

[6]: Increases your chances of knowing more about forum rules:

When you engaging in good topics, and maintaining your dedication to help forum members, you will have higher chances to occasionally, or intentionally read posts or topics, in which forum rules mentioned and discussed sparsely. Knowing more about forum rules, then having more comprehensive understandings about rules, eventually help to reduce your risks of bans from rules violations.

A clear advantage that I see from myself is that my English and writing skills improved a lot since I dedicated to constructive/ quality posts. English is not my first language. Before putting effort on constructiveness, I could produce 1, 2-line posts only. But my vocabulary range, grammar structures and writing style positively changed since then. Although I have to admit that my initial goal was to get merit and join quality campaign but improving my English is the thing that I'm most appreciated.

In the spirit of encouraging forum interaction, I limit my thread to just five advantage to leave room for more advantages to be added by forum member (that's if you can think of any) and hopefully this thread will serve as a reference to future forum users.

Yes, i agree with your five ideas the point is that science is very important before doing something, whether it's about cryptocurrency, forums and things else.

That is to say, everyone must have good knowledge of a post and do something in the forum and outside.
That most people, including us, fall into an error of something we say or do, is because we don't study science that explains crypto and forum rules from that before. Basically knowledge can be educated someone directed at things that are meaningful.

There still seems to be a massive focus on merit and sig campaigns. Right now crypto is at a major stage in its life. It is moving from childhood into adolescence, and that represents some life changing opportunities for a few of us. I had hoped that we could have some discussions about this, so that we could help each other to take advantage of the astronomical growth that will happen to a few of the alts. Engaging in quality discussions about this will help all of us.

Maybe, the fourth point is incorrect at somewhat extent. Risks of getting banned (temporary or permanent, whatsoever) is only be reduced if users spend more time to read all forum rules, and really understand them, and know appropriate contexts in which those rules will be applied.
If I was you, I would have written the fourth point as:

1. Reading forum rules & Remembering your past posts
Remember that when you get banned, it is obviously that you most likely made something wrong, and violated forum rules. Your ban mostly come from your rule violations, so the first step you should do is finding and reading forum rules!

Yes, and this is the unpleasant truth. Although you and few other member don't bother to earn by signature, but most of us doing that including me. To be honest, its seems earning become a part of forum. We can't deny it really. And obviously, posting, merit & earning attached each other.  For earning good you have to rank up & earn merit, for earning merit you have to make quality post. We can not even eliminate one of these.  All of these helping forum keep emphatic, we can't deny also that.

I do not know why everyone tries to focus on Merits & signatures, one of the most important things I learned from this forum is to increase my culture in many things (there are many and many sections that you can visit.)
Before joining, I was not familiar with economic, price speculation, technical, not just crypto related topics but encryption, decentralization, money creation and other things that you might face in your life (Investment, trading, developing my English,...etc.)
Think about your goals There is a lot to learn.

That's because those are the topic that dominant one of the most active board of the forum (meta). I intentionally didn't mention (increase your chances of getting merited) as the number one advantage of engaging in quality posting because it's not although that's one of the motivation for people engaging in such discussion.

Today, there is very low odds for shit posters to get acceptance for their applications in high-paying campaigns, that pay for their participants through BTC. The fact is over months, more than one year since January of 2018, when merit system born and actively effective works in the forum, we have seen hundreds of self-promoted users, from Member to even Legendary. Especially, some of them even started from zero (Newbies and zero merit), them moved up to Hero members. That's amazing fact. They have built a new generation of self-promoted users, that spread from low rank (Member) to high rank (Hero and Legendary), and that generation have been more competitive than the old ones include many shitposters.
There are even some guys are totall self-promoted users, like @iasenko, @Coolcryptovator, and more. They could not reach those ranks, if they did not dedicate their time to engage with forum contributions, within continuous months.

One of the easiest and most significant way to contribute to yourself and towards others is reading. I think most of the time, and people tend to skim through on what the post is or what it is all about. No matter the content or how long or how short the post is, basically understanding every word and knowing how the OP is stating it, that's better than just "replying" to the subject or something along those lines.

Engaging towards great posts like this could help more people be attracted to either create or discuss things that are already on the topic. It will only be considered low quality if it has just been repeated over and over again. Basically, the most significant advantage that you can have is increasing your knowledge, which was already highlighted.

They post without spending time to fully read what OPs discuss, and the flow of discussions before their post. So, most of time, their posts are off-context, or even off-topic. Off-context, because what they answer actually given by someone else in previous posts in the same topic; off-topic, because they don't read OPs, so they simply write down what they personally think of, their objective opinion, and most of time, their posts are off-topic.

I know that encouraging others to post on the forum is a good idea and a movement I can get behind. However a few points on your list I have something to pitch in with.

[1]: Increases your knowledge on cryptocurrency and forum matters :

Contributing and participating in discussion will probably not have any more impact than just reading. Sure you might learn a few things if you come up with unique questions and problems however that is a rarity these days because most of things relating to Bitcoin has already been discussed unless you are going to get technical. Something which a newbie will probably not be able to do.

This is something that I partly agree with. Yes participating in discussions will actually make you start to get a name for yourself. Although that doesn't mean its necessarily going to be a good reputation if you're not presenting facts and spamming then you are doing the opposite. Posting for the sake of increasing reputation will not work as you need to think through your replies and actually bring something new to the discussion for this to increase your reputation. Lets also make it clear that reputation is different to trust here. You can have a reputation for being knowledgeable but may not be trustworthy.

[4]: Reduces your chances of getting banned:  

I doubt that participating in quality discussions has any bearing on bans. If you are breaking the rules one way or another I doubt that your contributions to a discussion will be considered. What will be considered is your history on breaking rules and what rules you have broken. I don't think its a good idea to tell people that participating in quality discussion is going to make them immune or give them less of a chance of being banned. There's no favoritism here and a lot of quality members have been banned for double posting and other things.

I would relate well with the number one reason "improves your cryptocurrency knowledge" this is very true when you engage in quality contributions in the forum you always get quality answers and most of this answers can increase ones knowledge on cryptocurrency issues

This forum is all about seeking and sharing the knowledge regarding the crypto industry and hence I highly recommend everyone to invest their time before investing their money in order to learn more about the multiple aspects of it. The biggest advantage of engaging in quality contributions on this forum is exploring the vast space of crypto industry through multiple aspects as experienced members of this forum are always ready to help everyone without any hesitation.

What I usually do, I try to share whatever I learn from here or internet. It has one benefit, if there is any misunderstanding in my learning, community correct me.

Quality contribution brings knowledge to you. Few of the benefits of knowledge just cannot be measured exactly.

I will like to add a few like:
a)Your post are not getting deleted (as offtopic or low quality.)

^^ I guess few user in this forum are struggling with this problem.

b) Your knowledge protects you from getting scammed in crypto (both in forum and off forum.)

c.) It helps you in making good investment decisions.

Everyone can contribute to the forum no matter how low in rank or how higher. Good contribution doesn't mean you have to be a pro here before you can attain it. Even the briefest of post but with vital inputs can pass for a quality contributions

Corrected. Advantage No1 speaks on knowledge while No6 speaks on forum rules. I also added yours as no7. You misunderstood jet cash's statement (he wasn't speaking directly about my post but the whole discussion on the forum in general) beside just one of the advantage is associated with signature and another with merit via my OP above.
