There’s a big problem with trust because anyone can buy trust worthy accounts and con newbies (I have seen trusted localbitcoins accounts for sale too), hence I always suggest to use old escrows (members who have been here since a long time, and have consistent positive feedback about their escrow services). @istiak2277 I always follow this rule regarding online schemes i.e. if it looks unreal then it’s a scam unless the person selling it can prove other wise. Currently there is no crypto police that will catch those hackers and scammers so there is a very little chance that we can ask for some justice right now to those victims.

Hackers and scammers are evolving every now and then so for those exchanges and investors they should do their best to strengthen their security everyday if possible so those hackers will have a very less chance to bypass their security. That is the best thing that they can do right now as we cannot depend to any police as of the moment.

I think people can help minimize if not eliminate, scam projects by not supporting them. One way to do this is but properly researching the projects we will invest in. I observe some investors just invest based on hype in that market. So they fall victim to promises of great returns by scammers. Scammers are getting wiser in tricking people but I think, with proper research, they can tell a legit project from a fake one.
