Stop chasing the "next" bitcoin

Once a newbie enters in this vast market is that one thing that is good for them they automatically switch to it without knowing the full details about the project unless they do have their own advisor. Bitcoin is the future and no one else that's why i accumulate more Bitcoin than altcoins in my portfolio.

Bitcoin will still be the most important, and it is very unlikely that bitcoin will be replaced by other coins, personally I trust Bitcoin more than others.

Hahaha chasing the next bitcoin is what got me Rekt in my first investments in cryptocurrencies. Now I believe even before the next bitcoin can have a chance to make me profit on investment. The reason people go after such statements is the pump that made bitcoin's price what it is and so called "brand name" associated with bitcoin. No other coin out there can beat it and believe it or not people who are making shitcoins are actually envious of that. They want their own coin to be the next bitcoin and so they keep on saying this to everyone they meet, whether it be social media or it is real life.

These guys will make you buy their shitcoins and dump on your face when the pump happens so you are the one who is going to at a loss. Complete waste of time and money.

Its really tempting of course, most of the people are happy with greens and just lose their mind when the market is bearing or bulling, greed corrupts and influences market actions greatly and if you want to be winner in crypto. Give yourself some time to actually understand whats really going with the market and take actions based on your knowledge, people are anticipating a great recovery but it doesnt make sense in such a short timeframe

I urge everyone to really put the majority of your investments on bitcoin to avoid getting REKT in the future. Well, you can still invest on some altcoin but at least the your portfolio should be like more than half on bitcoin, just saying.

There is only one Bitcoin and there will be no next. Yes it is not bad to invest on some altcoins but thhe majority of investment should be in bitcoin. We all know that altcoin fluctuations mostly ride wih bitcoin.

Obviously there is only one Bitcoin.

Any forks and other cryptocurrencies saying that they are Bitcoin is just an altcoin and not Bitcoin. It is not bad to invest on other cryptos as long as the majority of it is on Bitcoin since you will really regret it if you will not be investing on Bitcoin quickly.

I think every year is always the same, choose crypto quality, buy when it's cheap don't sell when prices don't match, sell when it's expensive, This causes when a demand makes a significant price increase like now, especially because bitcoin will soon enter the next period of supply reduction or halving day. As long as Bitcoin is the pioneer in cryptocurrencies, it would be very hard for any crypto to dethrone, though many altcoins claim to bring new technologies, they are all mostly modelled after the blockchain tech. These days all alts coin companies spend heavily on brand marketing, they use words that influence the buyer to buy their coins. As a buyer one should only invest in bitcoins as no other coin can ever match the returns given by bitcoins. One of the reasons I feel people end up investing in alts is due to lack of research done on their part, they simply fall for clickbait marketing and end up with worthless coins.

most of them aren't really at fault. they are just poor newcomers who entered a big market and were suddenly bombarded by a huge wave of advertisement which were promising them riches beyond their wildest dreams so they ended up buying a ton of useless tokens which have been continuously losing value

But thanks to those advertisements and other promotions they are able to know slightly what Bitcoin is, how the market works, and gain experiences in crypto currencies for them to fit in the long run throughout the years. Really if it weren't for those things that urge them to by other alts, the last bull couldn't make it to BTC's last ATH, at the last moment they managed to sell their tokens or either exchange it for Bitcoin resulting in them studying in order for them to have a sturdy comeback.

Those who are new comers in crypto attempt to invest and even believe their is the next bitcoin. They just suddenly attracted to those advertisement in crypto. Bitcoin is still the top coin and no one can replace it.

I also have great hope with bitcoin, the next bitcoin time, now in without 2 or 3 days bitcoin reached at $6849, it meant in next week bitcoin definitely grew more than it. So it is time of bitcoin and we are already in lane of bitcoin investment. So we should be ready to earn profit from it.

+1, I was just looking through my exchange accs and was appalled at how many altcoins I bought up because they were so cheap (but also kind of interesting). 90% of them bit the dust, and I maybe profited on a handful of them. Wish I had just stuck with my BTC, Monero, and Darkcoin.

yeah most of the new comer that interested in bitcoin trying to invest by buying bitcoin. but sometimes they are immediately disappointed because they don't get a decent profit, or they feel anxious when they see the bitcoin price drop and end up being a selling panic. they should hold on bitcoin because in the future bitcoin has a bright future

Although bitcoin ecosystem is still very young, but it was proven in the past that investing on them is a good choice. Of course there is risk, but so as in the altcoin market. That's why newbie investors gets rekt bigtime. Trying to look for the next bitcoin, unfortunately, they just wasted their time and money trying to look for it.

Getting a decent profit doesn't work overnight, and bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme.

Definitely, there wouldn't be a second btc but that does not mean no coin can be  ery successful. For me, I would always want to give good projects the benefits of the doubt. We have seen some growing very well and many getting millions of dollars from them. However, to expect that any new coin will be moure success or even as successful as btc is an erroneous

New coins always appear, but being the second bitcoin in my opinion will never exist, because to reach the price of thousands of US dollars for 1 coin is something that is very difficult. Most new coins cost tens or hundreds of US dollars.
Bitcoin is now leading success in 2017, where the most expensive prices reach almost USD 20,000. Today the price of bitcoin has reached USD 7,550 and is still increasing so that trade is getting busier because bitcoin owners continue to make purchases that lead to continued price increases.

That's right, therefore the newcomers must learn about crypto to those who are experienced. Most of them are reluctant to learn, they are only tempted by the lure of "get rich quickly" but it is only a dream without experience. Especially after yesterday's 2018, a lot of ushered in useless shitcoin.

More so many newbies falls easily to media hype of those shut cryptos believing that it will pump x100 within a shortest period not knowing that majorities of those cryptos pumping is subject to state of the price of bitcoin if it pumps many will pump too.
Bitcoin is a long term investment a newbie I introduced bitcoin to in December had already profited from his investment this a wake up call to newbies to stick to bitcoin now.
