I don`t know about the password thing, unless you yourself become the password, via dna(spit,blood),fingerprint and or picture/video.

that is not how blockchain or banks or government work! none of them have anything to do with "passwords and personal information"! banks hold and control your money, and governments snoops around in your personal affairs. and blockchain is just a public ledger that holds transaction history protected by cryptography. it is not supposed to hold your passwords or personal information.

it is apparent that you are hyped up about something you don't understand. blockchain is not even good for those things such as medical records,... it is not efficient and there are a lot of other better ways.

Human history is always riddled with insatiable greed and selfishness resulting into conflicts and problems which ordinary people like you and me can experience. This was true before and sadly this is even truer these days. Good thing that this weakness of human nature is partly addressed by the blockchain technology but then again just like any man-made invention nothing is really perfect here. We have the capacity to make things complicated and hopefully blockchain can sort things out. In my own opinion, the blockchain technology can be a big leap for humanity but still this is not the cure-all for all the ailments humanity can be into.

I think the Op is making these statement regarding to what he/she saw in one of the blockchain project e.g VelixID that intend to use blockchain and other technology for identity verification. Blockchain technology can keep records in more secure and transparent ways. However, its use in medical field might be limited nobody will put medical histories of their patient in public database that anyone can view. That may be dangerous

You are missing the point. It is not easy to keep track of passwords and other private stuff offline which is why storing everything online is a boon in this aspect, but security is the top priority here.

It will only happen when the government decide to use blockchain technology, otherwise we will not see something new in this world. All institutional that works under the regulation of the government cant do something which is not proposed by the government (at least in my country).
