It's so interesting to see this fight but I feel like, Holloway is going to beat McGregor. If the opposite happens, then oh my god, this will be another level and potentially, it can be Topuria VS McGregor?

It will be a huge event, considering Conor McGregor has a casual, large fan base that likes the spectacle, and McGregor knows how to deliver it. Conor McGregor had plenty of opponents to choose from, such as Michael Chandler and Nate Diaz for his return fight, but Max Holloway will be a tough match up and if he lose this fight McGregor will end up disappearing once again.

I guess Chandler didn't want to risk another humiliation in case the fight fell through like it did in the past.

Anyhow, McGregor is 37 now. If he somehow managed to get himself in a proper shape, he could still have a few fights in him. But I doubt he will look good against Max.

First time hearing Conor has money problems. Where did his all money go? He hasnt divorces yet

To be honest, does anyone really expect his return and good performance? I doubt if the fight will really happen and we wont get last minute replacement. Opponent choice is strange too. Why not Chandler? He was promised that fight long time ago. They must have fought after being coaches in Ultimate Fighter. Besides, Max has more chances to finish Conor that Chandler. It will be a return to get ass kicked.

Conor is taking much drugs and drinking much whisky. There also rumors that he has a sexually transmitted disease from a woman. If he needs more money, this certainly because he is spending more than he can afford. I am not implying that he is bankrupt. He has much assets. However, what he needs is cash because he might have a cash liquidity problem and 2 fights in the UFC will certainly solve this problem hehe.

On Max, you say that there are more chances that he will finish Conor. However, this also implies that Max is a more difficult challenge and the brave Conor has signed the contract!

Right, we can only speculate on what is the condition of Conor is. Obviously he has age and really out for a long time. So first there is ring rust, then how about making weight? Will he have a problem making the weight cut?

Then the question of gas tank and stamina too. If the fight goes to distance, can Conor have that deep gas tank to survived against a opponent that has been more active than him and is known to last 5 full rounds going toe-to-toe?

I didn't make myself very clear there, but I mean more of a humiliation from waiting for him again and possibly looking like a total idiot if Conor was to pull out again. "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" etc
Quite frankly, I think Conor would have better chances against Chandler than against Max, but any of them could beat his ass. I wouldn't be shocked if the fight gets cancelled due to Conor's last-minute injury etc.
Does he even train? Has anyone seen any recent footage of Conor training?
Maybe I'm unfair to him, and he's actually in decent shape.

I also agree with you. Actually Conor has been out of the fight for a long time. I have noticed his stamina a little less since before the injury. However, he is seen to show a little more overconfidence. Although he may do this to make the opponent mentally weak. However, I don't think the match will be scripted with his comeback. But Conor should win this match. Because he has a huge and strong fan , who have been waiting to see his fight for a long time. Now let's see what happens. Although I am not such a big fan of Conor, I am still waiting to see him fight.

Discipline is the main thing for a fighter and Conors discipline looks completely finished. He has struggled a lot with drugs whiskey and alcohol so it will be very difficult for him to leave all of that behind and train seriously again. At least he would need a year to fully recover and get back into proper fighting shape

If he truly wants to fight and win not just create hype and then lose he has to train hard and live a disciplined life for at least one year. Then he might have a chance. Otherwise I think this fight is just hype. He will do a lot of things to build excitement people will start believing in him again and then in the end he will lose. Thats just what I think. Maybe Im wrong but there is a strong chance that what I m saying could happen.

There are already speculations that uncle Dana should not trust Conor because he might announce that will not fight in UFC 329 anymore hehehe. However, my argument for this is Conor might need some money in the bank to pay for his expenses and 2 fights in the UFC might help him with this problem. This will be very much similar to his last return in the sport. He fought 2 times against Dustin the diamond and he retired again.

Dana White himself said that there is no deal done with Conor until paper is signed but he also said that he is more sure right now than he has ever been that Conor will return. They even made three professional intros about Conor's return and honestly, I've never seen such a professional video done by UFC before. I even watch these videos in autoreply, I liked them so much.
Anyways, if this event won't happen, I think that it will be a huge failure from UFC. They even made promos, mentioned date. If Conor fails, it will be a huge disaster to my mind. I even feel like this fight will have more hype than white house cards and you know what will be more amazing? If Conor beats Holloway, that will be the best comeback to my mind.

Also, we can be quite certain that the UFC will not announce this if there was no contract signed. It would be very unprofessional and also very much stupid. I was so sure that event is this weekend, so I stayed late like an idiot, waiting for fights to start We have more time to decide fate of your 10 bucks. Is it possible to cancel your bet and re-do picks? I dont think that odds might change, but we might find some hints this week.

For the future, I think it will be a safe bet (even though they dont exist in gambling) if you bet against Conor or that fight will be cancelled.

Those who are into MMA industry know such guy as Scott Coker. Owner of Strikerforce. Promotion that was devoured by UFC. Former president of Bellator. It might be, that Jake Paul and his MVP promotion, with their recent event (that looked better than UFC card same day) shook MMA community. That lead to Scott Coker announced that he is planning to created new MMA promotion. UFC will get another competitor, or manufactory that creates fresh meat for UFC

I'm not sure whether it was his or the UFC's decision, but we won't see him in the octagon again. His last UFC fight was in 2024 when he lost to Joaquin Buckley by a TKO (doctor's stoppage, after suffering a big cut).

His final record stands at 17 wins and 5 losses.

I believe he still competes in wrestling in the RAF organisation.

Colby has insulted Leon's father and Great Britain. I reckon this might have bad feelings for the Donald because in the fight Colby was not anymore trying to win.

This behavior of Colby might have also left bad feelings for uncle Dana who is a close friend of the Donald. There is no honor being given for Colby. He will be lucky if he will receive a hall of fame award, however, this is very much doubtful.

I think the closer the fight between Conor McGregor and Max Holloway gets the more the odds will shift toward McGregor because he knows how to create hype and attract the audience. But I still believe Max is going to win. Otherwise why is Michael Chandler at the White House? He doesn’t deserve that attention. In my opinion hes a very overrated fighter and not exciting to watch.

Turns out he has retired almost a week ago, but nobody noticed that. I find it strange that he stayed so silent about it (or media did not pay enough attention to it), because he was one of the biggest mouth and trashtalkers. Such people rarely disappeared silently. He was such a huge fan of Tramp, that it is strange he is not in White House card RAF was a good choice for him. I would say easy money if he is still in good shape.

Well, UFC's video gained 5 million like on TikTok very soon, so I think that his hype is still here. Conor's striking is very different from Topuria's striking. I liked very much how Conor was keening forward and punching in the face, he was striking like an artist but when it comes to pure striking, I think that Topuria is on another level. Topuria's strikes aren't art but they are like a war machine, destroyer.
