An open declaration here from 2double0 to all those assholes who didn't even see whether I spammed or not, but gave me red trust just to show how they are ^cleaning^ the forum from spammers? I didn't make more than 6 posts when I joined it and when theymos took action, I thought that making even 1 comment with yobit's signature will neither be in my interest nor forum's.

But these 'spam-destruction contractors' just came up starting to abuse their power of giving misleading trust that I'm promoting this and that.

OK, that's it and I did it because I had no problems from their end till now so I did, what is "liberty to choose" meant for if we can't fucking choose what we shall keep in our signature? And when we have signatures already removed, you should start checking which of us actually spammed and still, Theymos said it is not fair to give a negative trust but to report those who did spread spam. Check my history and tell me, did I?

The Best thing is to talk to ICOfirm so that you can settle your differences because opening a thread and howling insults will only worsen your situation. I surely wouldn't love to see you account to go a waste.

Theymos has really tried to play his part and I doubt he will be able to help you out here.
A much more polite and direct dialogue between you and ICOfirm would surely get this sorted without us seeing another public fist fight.
I have nothing against you and hope everything gets sorted out.

I think, its better from now on, only hero and legend had the ability to give trust. If other member had a trust problem they can report it to a dedicated thread. This way trust abuse will reduce.

Your tag isn't appropriate, have you contacted with that person who have left you negative feedback? If not, the you should contact him first about your issue. You can open thread regarding your issue, and I think you have right to ask for remove feedback politely instead of blame whole DT network. Its really terrible title "Abuse of Trust Power - did you make it for this Theymos?". This behavior is not wise way to get removed your feedback.

ICOfirm should reconsider his/her feedback. This isn't enough reason to tag anyone since spam should handled by forum moderators. Admin strongly disagree to tag spammer, just report to moderators and let them handle it. We should more careful about our negative feedback especially for spam issue.

Thanks bruh, I've gone the sweet way and let's see if it actually works out. It's not normal that I go rude, but this trust abuse issue has now become so obsolete I'm too bored to just let it go every single time so thought to raise my voice but yes, it is also true that we can go the other (good guy) way and try to sort this out with much better mutual talks.

That was resolved fast, without multiple threads of lies and drama.

No, the tag is still there from 3 guys.
I don't understand exactly why this blurryeyed always follows IconFirm's reviews and washes his hands in the open shower. Drama? (li'l bit off-topic) Everything for you had been a drama I guess since the day you started licking your own boobs and learnt the lesson of masturbating.

Just checked in and it has already been sorted, everything is back to neutral  Wink
At least according to how i view your trust score from my profile (Never created any trust list yet)

May be it's looking neutral at your end (and thankfully mine too currently), but the moment any of these guys get a DT member's trust and go green in their rating, people like me and many others whom they gave negative trust will be seen as red trusted and our reputation destroyed for no reason.

Basically, IconFirm's was on DT due to confusion I think. His feedback is still there but it is under the untrusted feedbacks so you do not need to worry much.

That's a horrible idea, and Theymos would never go for it anyway.

OP, those negs you got are not from DT members as far as I know--they're all showing up as untrusted feedback--so it's not like your reputation has been damaged.  And for what it's worth, I don't think the recent Yobit campaign participants should have been tagged despite all the controversy around whether Yobit is truly a scam exchange or not.  There isn't anything you can do about it, though.  Most members receive BS feedback at some point, and nobody besides the person who left it is in any position to remove it.

That's how the trust system works.  It's far from perfect, but it's not the end of the world if you get negged by a member who isn't on DT.

The trust system is always going to subject to fluctuation.  I found something that could explain why IconFirm ended up on DT2, see the link below.

I added four DT1 members to my ~distrust list this morning, and I bet others are doing the same.

I had created this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5139390.0
After that IconFirm is not on the DT list.:
1. Lafu excluded IconFirm on Lafu's trust list.
2. lovesmayfamilis  removed IconFirm from lovesmayfamilis trust list.
So the feedback by IconFirm has gone to untrusted feedback. That's why now your trust is on neutral.

I am trying to find "spamming" part in feedbacks you have received, but I just don't see it. It is funny how some people here can't read feedback which is on their own trust wall, if you don't mind point us to "tagged because of spam" part:

Quote
Promoting the Yoshit scam exchange.

Quote
Promoting Scam Exchange Yobit, Yobit steals customer funds, runs a ponzi scheme, lists completel scams, orchestrates pump and dump scams

Quote
Anyone who promotes the scam exchange Yobit should not only be ashamed of themselves for doing so, but also should not be trusted. People who are willing to sell their profile for a few satoshi to promote such a scammy exchange as Yobit deserves to be tagged - shame on you for promoting these well known scammers!

Maybe to update topic with new details such as: "I am tagged because I advertised shady exchange"

Hey, you still don't get me. I don't give a damn to a person who isn't in DT and gave a negative trust, what I am worried about is, any of these guys can go into DT and the same moment it will be seen as a valid 'yet invalid' red trust by someone from DT. So, these people who don't know what this trust system is for, need to be taught a tough lesson to make everyone aware that trust is not a manor that these guys can keep in their pockets and pull out whenever they feel comfortable.

Putting them in my distrust won't do anything except to me when I will watch my profile. I had no connection to these people, still I personally messaged them and humbly asked those who gave me negative trust but I think they've got a big enough EGO which didn't get satisfied by my request. So let them have it kept there.

Hello. Sorry for the lateness of my reply - I don't live on this forum & my online time is limited.

For the record, I have & always will tag scams & accounts that promote them, weather the accounts are spamming or not & weather they are noobs or legendary, as do all forum members who care about this forum & crypto in general. The main reason this is done is so that I can see that the account is not trustworthy, weather other members of the forum can see it or not is not my concern, but for those that can see it - I hope it helps them avoid being scammed.

If tagging scams & those that promote them is trust abuse then 95% of forum users are trust abusers. To repeat, I did not tag you for spamming, I tagged you for promoting a scam.

I get tagged myself a lot for tagging scammers & scam promoters, I even get accused of being 20, 30 or 40 other people because of it - but that's fine - it comes with the territory of course, but you won't see me starting threads all over the forum complaining about it & I certainly wouldn't think of getting ugly with anyone over it. Like I said, I have a life outside of this forum.

That being said, you are not the first person to contact me about the Yobit scam feedback. A few other forum members contacted me via PM after they had removed the Yobit sig asking if I would now remove the feedback & a couple of them actually apologised for promoting the Yobit scam.  Some have also thanked me.  Of course, once they were no longer promoting the Yobit scammers I readily & happily removed the feedback.

Then there are others who swear, scream, shout & go into meltdown because their beloved profile that means so much to them had somehow been eternally scarred for life. I say that if their profile meant so much to them, they probably shouldn't have used it to promote a scam exchange then.

Tl,Dr

Let's have a little etiquette please. It's never too late to repair your beloved profile, especially now that you're no longer promoting scams with it (thanks theymos!).

I am trying to find "spamming" part in feedbacks you have received, but I just don't see it.

Maybe to update topic with new details such as: "I am tagged because I advertised shady exchange"

Exactly - thank you marlboroza. You can expect to be accused of being me too now....lol

PIA went evil: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5203968.msg53160131#msg53160131 Unofficial & Uncensored SYSCOIN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4748031.0    Do not trust Yobit/HitBTC/BiteBTC/coinsbit/p2pb2b/Mercatox/C-cex/Poloniex/WEX/KuCoin/LiveCoin/TheRockTrading/Bitfinex/ADAB/Okex/TradeSatoshi/Gate.io/Changelly/Freewallet.org/crex24 scam exchanges or ICO's by known scammers like HashCoins/Ambisafe/Bountyhive - they WILL scam you! Obviously trust isn't a simple thing give it anyone without valid reason and if anyone haven’t done anything worse which is worthy of having negative trust then he don't need to worry. Without having proper reference negative trust doesn't have any value IMO. So I think it isn't a matter of concern.

You cannot have a fair system if you are restricting members, but until they are a default trust member these trust given can be neglected.

@OP as far as i am concerned you do not have a negative rating as they are not in DT1 or DT2 and trust ratings are not moderated. If a default trust member come up with a trust rating that you are not acceptable then you can dispute and the forum members will give you a resolution on the situation and if you are not done any wrong then the community will stick to you.

As long as the feedback sender is not in the DT network, their trust feedback does not have any value but once they are in DT network, it does not matter if they left a reference or not, this will reflect the default trust rating of the user in the entire forum where the trust rating is visible.

So, you were partially wrong here.
