I keep getting courtesy email notices from empowr.com saying I have an insane balance of 48 million USD in pre-coins.

Anyone else getting those kind of emails?

I can't figure out how they can say my balance is worth that much when it appears you can't even swap pre-coins for USD.

Have faith in humanity and never lose hope.

If they have so much premined coins i think there is a a scam, i also remember a similar name of a scam hyip where people lose money, on empower forex, but i not get this kind of email but i think is a scam. You shouldn't open this kind of link on your main pc, if you want to check what is it.

There's no need to know if it's a pre-mined or not to the fact that they are told the OP that he got a 48m balance without doing anything is obviously a scam and too good to be true. Actually there's no need for asking other people regarding about this matter though.

I heard that empowr has been scam, when they change the rules on the withdraw menu replaced with changes we have to import our private key into the website or another option we have to deposit eth into the empowr wallet (requirement if we want to withdraw empowr coins). after all, the market is only one and the coins have no value anymore.
when I enter the website, it is automatically blocked by the cryptonite extension (detecting phishing sites)
and e-mail notifications from Empowr now don't go to the main inbox but instead move to spam. From here, we should have known and realized.

There are existing topics that can answer OP's question.
Their main thread is dead with people asking how to withdraw their millions and there's also another one where people are saying it's a scam. If they are giving you a lot of money for free it's usually a scam.

Yes, most likely scam. And I'm glad you reach out to the community first instead of hoping that you really own like $48 million. Believed me, most people will do fall for this kind of trap even though it's a obvious scam.

Hahaha, please I would ask you to ignore that email because I believe it's a scammer sending you that message, maybe not to carry you to an important site, but to download a Trojan into your PC that will monitor all the activities of the PC as long as it is connected to the internet, this is why it's not advisable to click on just any link you see out there because you might not know the content of the site or the heart of the person who created the website, technology is really advancing.
