My own reasons why I think IEO is better than ICO

1)IEO projects are legits ,scam free but
 i) don't always expect the IEO tokens to double after IEO instant sell out ,many are complaining about IEOs losing value I think this is possible and normal too

2) IEO is here to fix scam issues only don't expect that all IEO will be a success on the long run,they might still fail but far from scam like ICO projects

3) it's wise to do better research even if the IEO is launching on binance ,don't just invest because the IEO is from popular Exchanges because what the project is introducing might not even make lotta sense

Just out of curiosity, what makes a IEO scam free? Do you know that "IEOs" existed for some years on Yobit Exchange? Go check how all their IEOs ended...

IEO is just an advanced way of collecting funds. It is a bit better than ICO as it is launched on exchanges ensuring that a coin will be listed on the same exchanges right after the completion of IEO. But we cannot say that IEO is scam free and all coins that launch IEO are free of scam and will get listed on exchanges. Many projects have not got listed on exchanges even after launching IEOs. So do your research first.

Technically 9 out of 10 cryptocurrencies project are scam. Many projects do both ICO and IEO. IEO on trustworthy exchange like (0) can somewhat stop scamers because you have to provide a lot of information to start IEO.

I disagree on the second point that IEO is here to fix scam, scam is not only when team refuse to list on exchange but not delivering what was written in roadmap, making use of IEO model doesn't mean project is not scam, it doesn't mean they will succeed by delivery what thier roadmap.

Yepp, for IEO on a popular exchange, we are sure that those are real project. But how about IEO on a small exchange? might be real, might be scam, who knows?

No projects should promise to always increase in price, unless a scam project. An increasing price should come along with development. So, let the team continue the development and never expect to multiply your money in a short time.

It's horrible if at the end people don't care about the prospect of a project, but only pay attention to exchange's reputation. That's actually bad idea as we don't know if an exchange has turned to dishonest one.

In my opinion, they are not really that bad, and I prefer investing in IEO if I had to choose between the two, because they have undergone to the exchanges screening and criteria,  where they held their IEO, it's just that the market is slowly recovering that these IEO coins are not getting their full price potential in the market.

In this case, of course there are pros and cons which are good at investing in the IEO or ICO. This is already a topic that has often been discussed. I'm not saying bad ICO or bad IEO. But of course everyone is more than happy to benefit if they have to invest in ICO or IEO. So there's nothing wrong with investing in the IEO or ICO. As long as the investment is profitable.

I see you guys are arguing but it's very clear IEO is far better than ICO since there is an exchange who validates the team and the project before it can launch an IEO. Some may still see IEO is just the same with ICO just using a different trick but really, the scam percentage is lesser since they go through a series of validations. Especially if a project gets an IEO at a high rating exchange just like Binance. Do you think Binance will just allow a scam project to ruin their reputation? Don't you guys think Binance has high standards? If an IEO occured on Yobit before and that it was a scam IEO it's because Yobit is not the same with Binance. Really, I find Yobit not appealing compared to Binance.

Yobit is very well known as a scam exchange site and this has already published from a few years ago. you can't compare yobit and binance at the same time. Mostly of icos run on yobit created by the yobit team itself. I remember when i was working for yobit a few years ago and so many scam coins have created by yobit itself and it listed on its exchange site and then yobit has manipulated it.
IEO in the big major exchange site will have verified by the team. is that make sense to create a comparison between crap and trusted exchange site?

IEO's are just a scheme for fund raising similar to ICO but with some improvements but it will not also guarantee that a project is scam. This is a dangerous notion to most members of the crypto community and I'm calling everyone to exercise necessary steps to be aware of this blunder before it will be used by scammers as a tool for their illicit schemes.

That's the major goals of everyone who still trusting this venue of investment, there's no assurance that IEO's will not scam the only advantage is they are assured to be listed and you can sell it right away but in terms of project developments we can't assume that they will continue to progress only future will give that answer.

There are lot of scam in IEO, in fact, we even need to be very careful in IEO participations, scammers do prey on the general belief that KYC of the team must have been conducted and certified okay by exchange team. If you can recall the very first IEO of bittrex that was cancelled by bittrex team because of integrity sake and safeguarding investors, this will give you a clue into the activities of some IEO, in fact, go and research about bluenote token an IEO conducted in dobitrade exchange.

I support IEO over ico because it’s reallu scam free . But as a investor we have to do our research and potentially of token or coin before investing . Atleast IEO gave opportunity to us for investing new crypto projects.

I also think that IEOs are better than ICOs if join on trusted exchanges, and also a profit can't be assured fast but there can be some profit, but can take some time to get a profit.

Been here when Yobit were doing it too. Even bittrex were doing this IEO and even then they still call it Crowdsale. They can call it differently today but its still it. Bittrex once did an ICO about an adnetwork its was named Flash, now I can't even find its ANN thread here in the forum but only bitcoingarden and I can't also see it on CMC being the FLASH adnetwork.

Nothing is can guarantee wether it will be not going to be scam or not. It hard to detect when or where will this gonna happen. Do noy trust too much at the exchanges as they are living by making money from the thin air and i suspect this exchanges are the first dumpster when the IEO is finish. I heard a lot of peoples claim that aftee the IEO the price are has being dump hard even they collect a very nice moneu truth the IEO  so just beware on the exchanges where it will be held on.
