Way too many people watching that 6000 level when its just a number.    I think I will watch the blue line on this chart which is the 8 day moving average and shows us some near term momentum beyond just todays froth on top of the price.



A pull back to here, test and then rise back to 6000 could be enough to see it higher having shaken off a few sellers attached to round numbers for this area

  There is no doubt why bitcoin grown promisingly even in a rapid way, because of its popularity and potential that lead to exceed as one of a leading asset among all coins. The current value is just a starting line of its outgrow and with our optimism and fidelity, its value will grow beyond we desired and hopefully it will occur by the near future.

since the increase in the price of bitcoin was above $ 5500, there hasn't been a single day that really exceeded the price of $ 6k. well, this might be a little difficult, seeing the current conditions. but, I believe that the price will increase immediately to be higher. I am not very good at looking at picks, but I see a better development of prices from the picture.

Let's not be so excited about that.I guess some crypto whales started buying btc slowly(it was about time).Soon the noobs are going to take over the trend and spread more optimism,but the bubble will burst(mostly because the year is 2019,not 2017 and nobody really thinks that bitcoin will hit a new ATH).

@this current time we all believe its finally going to explore the 6K area's once again, with all of us thinking and hoping for that, let us just hope BTC doesn't do the complete opposite

I am over sure that $6000 is a done and dusted and we are heading towards $6500 in the next bull push.  I am happy that this is happening at the current time and I am hoping that bitcoin will continue it's explosion for the remaining days of the month.

Every price increase, there will be  bad news come.   When Binance got hacked that i read it on news. It might be will only have little affect on bitcoin price itself. But for reputation hope people still want to use their site.

It wasn't really pumping hard but absolutely it will be easy for Bitcoin to reach $6K level. I'm going to say that by the end of this year there is a potential to reach $10K level. The support from investors are pretty strong and even there was a hack incident on Binance which has successfully stolen around 40 Millions USD in Bitcoin, investors like don't really care about it and stay on bull way. This means investors are smarter and more mature, also means that we are ready to take a new flight to the moon.

Have you seen the current price of bitcoin?
It's pumping hard now and trying to break the wall above.

I believe we will hit the $6k level on every market, and the volume is increasing so don't close your eyes because it will happen over night. Don't look back, bitcoin is moving on now and its really a good time for the pump.

We are almost getting there, there is just little push by investor to really see the price of bitcoin cross over to $6000 permanently this year, whatever retest that needs to be done has already been done and any increase we see now will be a healthy and sustainable one till we reach the target value of $6000.

From your screenshot, I can see that some exchanges have already crossed over to the $6000, I don’t know how this is possible, maybe arbitrage I don’t know, but I am so sure that within the next few days, other exchanges too with follow up the in the increase to $6000, and from their continue on its journey to $7000.

The price bitcoin come back to rise after sometime ago met a decresed price because there is an information which can make the price down. I'm so wierd when the negative information comes and being FUD maybe but the price still have a power to increase. I hope this is a time when we can see its price come back to high again and increase with drastically because I really missing it. So, my conclusion is $6000 will be passed by bitcoin soon since the price now is $5912 based on coin marketcap. Which mean just need around $100 to reach $6000 and it will be easy since the buyer still showed its power.

Bitcoin price last month and this month is like a roller coaster , going up then suddenly going down. I want to see the price of bitcoin going up just like riding a rocket going to moon.

Wonder what the binance fiasco will do with the price when the 7k coins pop up or get dumped. Until now still not that a big of a deal on the chart, its even climbing a bit.

Once Bitcoin goes $6000 this week then we can expect more for the coming months, based on charts in year 2016 below March to June is where an initial bull comes from and then continues until November and December usually it goes back on track after few month and start to continue again if the value of bitcoin will be consistent even in the holiday season then there is way more to come and base on my speculation it would go over $10000 again if the flow continues.

that is only because we have not yet broken that price otherwise people wouldn't have even cared about it just like $5000 which was broken fast that nobody even had time to start this many topics about that price level and talk about it as a "resistance".

Its really a reputation question for their site and not the protocol but I'd agree on the association and how people handle BTC is caught up with that news.   There are exchanges which match orders and dont require everybody to hold deposits there, they must be superior on a security front but why havent they taken over I wonder.    I'm thinking convenience and I really rate this as a driving force for anything consumer orientated

Looking at the Bitfinex long short ratio and the funding rates for Bitmex, it seems that many people are shorting BTC like crazy at these levels.

On Bitmex, its the same pattern over and over again. When Bitcoin breaks a prior pivot, usually causes massive liquidations and resets the funding rate, then after a few hours/days the funding rate is high again and so is the interest, and this repeated over and over for the last few weeks.

Seems people are trying to short the top and keep getting liquidated.
