In my opinion the increase in XRP at that time was due to the increase in the price of bitcoin, when bitcoin raised prices even the closest XRP or altcoin also increased. and certainly anything that affects XRP price increases, one of which is demand and supply in the market.
This is the right idea, I think that the rise in prices for BTC really prompted many altcoins to start their growth. After all, people understand that if BTC began to grow, then you need to buy altcoins because they become very cheap in relation to BTC. |

There was actually no substantial rise in the value of xrp, the rise you saw was as a result of the bitcoin moon which lead to an increase in the dollar equivalent of xrp. Bitcoin rise, bulls all the altcoin prices up while reducing the value in Satoshi. |

Most coins are on the rise because the crypto market has undergone a recovery so many coins have experienced price increases especially BTC and this can have an impact on several other coins such as XRP and others, of course this is a good thing for future crypto lovers.
After the correction in the market, the crypto coin price increases which is waiting by everyone because it is the recovery of it. XRP is the cheaper coin but when few invest on it, the supply in the market just lesser. Bull run of every vcoin is what we wait for. |

It's happening because the price of bitcoin is also rising. During the initial stage when the price of bitcoin starts to sky rocket, we see all the altcoins starts to bleed. This is because people start to dump their altcoin and jump into the bitcoin market as early as possible to make some nice profit. As the price of altcoin starts to bleed, other users take the opportunity of investing on those cheap altcoins and thus, once again the price of altcoins also starts to rise. That's the case of XRP or it's just being manipulated maybe (more than half of the total coins are owned by Ripple lab)?

I can't even tell why.. I just noticed that the price has been going up, but I can't tell why the price is going up and this is the same thing as we experienced in April for Bitcoin going up and nobody can really tell why the price of Bitcoin started going up all of sudden, all everyone did was just to follow they trend and nothing else. So when I noticed that XRP was going up recently, I didn't bother much knowing what caused it, I just felt good about the decision I made which was investing earlier. |

That is correct in some other scenario people are being fomo to Bitcoin because most of us witnesses how Bitcoin price baing dominance in last 2017 Bull run thats a reason why some altcoin being dump but the usd price are same. Regarding to the xrp rises this is good for their holder specially if we can see again its price back to all time high but I dont like xrp anymore maybe because its controllable by the bank, but its a good altcoin to hold this quick rises is a correction after a long time dump. |

The entire marketcap is tied against bitcoin or in a more simpler words bitcoin dominates the crypto market. Hence any fluctuation in the price of bitcoin affects the value of most cryptocurrencies. The rise in Ripple is surely because of this reason and i don't think it is related to any new development of ripple project.

XRP still not increase too high and it's only up and down in that price. But I think XRP can increase again later if the bull run is coming because the real bull run still not appears to us and we could only waiting for the coming. $0.41 was the highest price of XRP so far but I think XRP can increase more than that and I hope that it could reach more than $2.

Market capitalization which causes bitcoin to rise in price will definitely increase the altcoin price, but not all will rise. because not all coins are connected to the capitalization base caused by increases in BTC prices. XRP is a coin that survives between coins that appear in 2017, then the XRP price will definitely move if BTC moves.

No Bitcoin is not at $3k but at $8000. Ripple has been down for long and that is the reason it is considered as a joke by some people out there but this is a fact that if there is demand for even a thing of no worth, there would be a value for that thing sin the market so the hopes for ripple have not yet dwindled and it can no doubt grow but cannot be compared with Bitcoin. |

Most of the growth i have observed with XRP have been the case with the general market growth. This gives me the doubt if XRP still has something special to offer. I am yet to see anything significant about their last updates. Well, perhaps in the course of time, they might come up with another hype that can raise the price, because it is back to $0.39 again and i saw something below that some days ago. |
