ETH Hits $270: $300 Next?

Ethereum price surged significantly towards $270 versus the US Dollar, and jumped sharply vs bitcoin. ETH is in a major bull run and it seems like the price might even hit $300.

We saw a sharp increase in Ethereum price above $220 resistance against the US Dollar. The ETH/USD pair gained pace above the $225 resistance and rallied above the second target discussed this week. It broke the key $240 and $250 resistance levels to move further into a positive zone. The uptrend was such that the price gained more than 20% and even tested the $270 level. The price is currently well above the $260 level and placed nicely above the 100 hourly simple moving average.

Ethereum is now making its move...and though a little bit too late relative to the Bitcoin upward swing, I think nobody is complaining and holders are getting happy. I love Bitcoin but many of us are also into Eth and we love Vitalik Buterin, the man behind this cryptocurrency platform some are considering to be the heir apparent to Bitcoin but is also facing its own challenges in terms of adoption and innovations.

Can we expect Ethereum to fight against all odds and get into $500 before the end of 2019?

If bitcoin continues to make move like it's making now 300 is most definitely possible but if ETH decides to make a bull run of its along with BTC's then the price could very well go above 500.

I am kind of thinking this is the effect of the increase in bitcoin. and my hope is that ethereum is more stable and that investor confidence in the ICO will grow like 2017.

It won't take too long if the current trend of ethereum continues,Bitcoin price getting stable and other coins were bumping huge now which means people are entering into the market with new money so we can find that we are going to see one more bull run this year with massive coinmarket cap rise.

ETH price did not surge to anything USD-wise. the only thing that it did was to drop a little against bitcoin while bitcoin price was rising big times. the result is ETH showing USD gains while it is not an actual "gain" because people didn't really buy ETH with USD for it to rise, they just did some triple arbitrage between ETH, BTC and USD to make profit and the result was the USD rise while dump against bitcoin.

I think ETH has accumulated since 2018 until now. now is the time for the ETH to increase. ETH will reach $ 300 soon. Not only ETH but BTC and alt are increasing strongly. Understanding of the bull market

Actually, all altcoins are pumping now, follow the lead of bitcoin. It's not necessary to use technical analysis to give a prediction that ETH will reach $300. I even expect a much larger number than that, maybe around $500-600. However, we have to wait and see bitcoin's movement first.

We may never know. If bullrun will take its fortune this year, $500 per ETH is a possibility. We're only reaching the end of the second quarter but almost eveeyone here is feeling positive about the situation.

Bitcoin is actually pulling the altcoins up. As long as bitcoin performs nicely, top altcoins will do the the same.

I think it will be around $250-$270 for a while and after that it will increase again up to $300 or even more. If bitcoin price increase again to $8,500, it will make ethereum price increase again for sure. This is month is a super month for cryptocurrency, let's see how long ethereum can move that price.

yes now I have see Ethereum will heading towards $ 270 and if the bullrun market lasts until the end of years 2019 then as you say Ethereum will to reach $ 500 or even more than that. BTC and ETH are coins that I like, of course no one complains and people are very happy to see the current ETH condition is rising in price.

Yes, a sudden sharp rise scares after a +two-month drop for BTC. I will be more confident in the ether when it exceeds the level of 0.035 BTC. How much it will be in $ does not matter.

300 $ I think that can be achieved this week. at this time ethereum moves up, and there are no signs that it will fall. so if the market has no problems, this might be an easy target to reach.

My personal target for ethereum is much higher than this which is 400 $ for this month. and if it becomes a reality it means that bitcoin has gone up more than 10K. the market will be a good place to make a profit.
